SK things and weekend things

Mr 5 year old is one sweet boy! How is he mine! He amazes me everyday with the words that flow out of his mouth!

This week we had parent teacher interview and we were so proud hearing his teachers talk all about him.

We had to write a message of love on a ribbon for an art project they are working on. Reach for the Stars! We love you to the moon and back! Love mommy, daddy and baby Mikey! He was had the biggest smile on his face.

After the parent teacher interview, we went Black Friday shopping! Mr K was a perfect little shopper.

Today at mass he went on his own to the kids class. He came back so excited rehearsing what he learned.

We are soo excited for Christmas! Can you tell!
Elf on the shelf has been hoping around leaving gifts on the weekends!

We had a fun weekend!

The boys love practicing the piano.
With the cold weather here, we will have more time to practice!

We had a fun birthday party for a baby cousin!

Mikey loved Santa!

At work we sponsored a family and we are all pitching in for gifts.  The family of 2 boys really hit a soft spot for me. I've been discussing it with little k, letting him in on what we will be doing to help give them a wonderful Christmas. He understands fully and I'm so happy to share this tradition with our kids.

He is excited to help.

Hope you all had a great weekend!

busy days

I haven't blogged for a while!

The busy day to day put my blogger on the back burner.

We have been busy with our daily routine , work, school, daycare, homework, housework and lots of fun things in between ha!

The holidays are quickly approaching and my long list of gifts is getting checked off slowly!

All our decor is complete for the season.

Taking our Christmas card pic was a little hard this year haha. Baby M couldn't sit still!

These 2 just melt my heart! Little k says the sweetest things. His heart is so big and I'm so proud of him. He is the perfect big brother, baby M looks up to him so much.

Swimming lessons have been great. Little k loves his instructor and he's doing so wel!

Some fun over the past couple weeks included some family fun.

Movies with cousin.

We went to watch Trolls! How cute.

We also had a date day, we shopped and ate out kid free ha!

This is the time for lots of family togetherness! We had a ladies night which was great!

More blog posts to come! I'm trying to catch up!

The kids went trick-or-treating at an amusement park.

How cute are they!

We went on some rides, saw a show and collected lots of candy! The kiddies had a blast!

 After the fun day,

We all went back to our house for dinner

The kids were pooped haha

Sunday we went to buy some Halloween decor. Little K wanted spooky.

Next weekend we will carve the pumpkins! We have 6 of them! Eek!

We have many future events to begin planning! First one coming soon is little k's birthday! Planning is happening as we speak!

School yard corn roast!

Yesterday we had little K's classroom meet and greet followed by a school yard corn roast!

Little K was soo excited to show us his classroom.

He showed us his favorite stations and his favorite spot to sit and read in the class.

We talked with his teacher. Getting the SK update. Little K is doing so well. He's very independent and taking on the SK helper roll.

His teacher says she just loves his sense of humour and his contagious laugh! Haha that is little K!

Baby M was excited to touch and climb everything. Little k loved showing off his little brother too haha.

We love his school. We love the way they teach and the values they instil in their students.

I love that they always have healthy snacks available in the classroom and office just in case the kids need an extra snack.

Once we were done in the classroom we headed out to the school yard for the corn roast. Yum! Little k ate 2!! Then he was busy running and playing with his friends.

Summer weekend fun.

Our family likes to keep busy on the weekends, you can probably tell by my blog posts that we are not homebodies. Of course we like our relaxing days in as well, but we mostly like to be out enjoying new things and events and family outings. Offering the kids experiences that will leave lasting impressions in their memories.

We were pretty exhausted after the long weekend. So we kept the week light with  catching up on favorite shows like Paw Patrol and PJ masks ha! We went for daily walks and played games, haircuts and back to school shopping .

Soccer practice last week had baby M excited! Ha!

He's eager to be like big brother. No one told me how amazing this part of parenting truly is. It melts my heart when he copies big bro!

Let's not forget that this cutie turns 1 in a week!!! OMG this year just flew by! I'm grateful to be home with them for an extended 2 months!

Friday morning we headed downtown to meet daddy for lunch! We showed the kids the tall building daddy works in. We had a yummy lunch and walked around downtown for a couple of hours.

How stylin' was the Mr pushing the kids in the stroller.

It was a great afternoon!

Friday night, mommy got to go out without the kiddies. Ha! I went to watch bAdmoms!!! It was hilarious! And a great evening out with the ladies!

Saturday we headed to the race track!
Ok, I honestly didn't think the kids and I would enjoy this as much as my husband. To my surprise, we all loved it! It's so much fun! We all got so into it and it was so exciting.

I was getting serious about it and really
analyzing the horses numbers ha!

We had great seat on the patio to have lunch and watch the races!

Little K's outfit -on point!

Sunday I had another ladies event. We tell little k it's a girls party and he's like- meh, go have fun with that. Ha!
He got to have a fun afternoon with daddy and couldn't stop talking about it when I got home!

This morning we woke up late and the kids are still in their pj's playing while I'm blogging and on my second cup of coffee!

Have a great week friends!
