Halloween fun!

Halloween was rainy and cold so that was super scary ha! 

This is just a quick post to capture little k's Halloween! 

This year he was an astronaut! 

We went went out with my nieces and little k loved going door to door saying trick or treat! 

This year he loved pointing out the scary things and saying "look mom! That's scary, I'm scared" haha adorable. 

His favorite candy so far, smarties and lollipops! 

I don't know about you, but I can't believe Halloween has past and Christmas is not that far away! 

The other day my husband and I went for a nice fall walk by the lake and a yummy meal.

We need to take advantage of this not so bad weather this fall. It's not freezing cold yet. So hopefully we will have more time for these beautiful walks. 

Halloween and 2 year doctor checkup

Halloween was so much fun this year. The kids loved trick or treating and my street was full of haunted houses! 

Kristian had so much fun going door to door. 

Yesterday we had his 2 year check up. Doc was happy to see K and said he looks great. I asked a lot of questions when it comes to food and play and potty training and his answers left me comfortable and sure of all that I am doing for my little boy. 

He gave the doctor a high five when we left and was happy to leave haha no needles at this appt so all was good! 

Today is kristians party! So we are running around picking up the cake and decor! 

And my cupcake cones are coming along! 

Daycare update and Halloween fun

Kristian has adjusted so well at daycare.

Here are some notes from yesterday.
-ate most his lunch and drank water
-had cookies for snack and ate so many along with 3oz of milk!!
- took 2, 45 min naps
- was so good and only cried when fighting his first nap haha

They had a halloween party at daycare yesterday and I called in the afternoon and his teacher said "Kristian is having a blast!" His friends gave him treats too! Oops I didn't bring any for his friends! I didn't think of that! I will next time.

Last night he was getting stuffy so I kept him home with me today. I couldn't send him to daycare knowing he was unwell. He needs his mama to help him get better!

He seems to be doing better already.

Happy Halloween with scary emotions!

Happy Halloween everyone. Baby K is dressed at Superman! We dressed him when he was 3 days old last year as Superman too! He was sooo cute today all dressed up heading to daycare!

Today is the third day of daycare. Leaving him an extra 2 hours longer than yesterday.

When he went in I stayed outside a bit looking through the window to see him. And then I just cried! I went to the car and had one of those hard cries! ;(

Never did I think this would be soooo hard!!!

He loves daycare, and the teachers and helpers are great! I have comfort in that!

As I was peeking in I could see Kristian paying attention to the teacher as she talked to him and he would give a half smile and babble back. He looked so cute sitting in between his 2 girlfriends haha. My heart just ached. I wanted to stay there the whole day and watch him! ;(

Halloween Weekend!

A non stop fun weekend. Friday night a group of us went out for my cousin's birthday. We had a blast. These girls are so much fun! I absolutely love these girls we always always have soo much fun together. We had a blast at Toronto's Drake Hotel. I didn't end up going to bed till 4am!
I slept in Saturday and had a lazy day before getting ready for a Halloween party at my cousin's place.

We had sooo much fun, alll the costumes are super cute! look at us all!
Annnd again we didn't go to bed till after 3am!

Today was Halloween and I was running in slow motion after all those parties! hah! We went out trick or treating with the kids. It was freezing here! But they had a great time!

Day 2 cooking at home!

I'm not going to lie... when I was driving home from work starved tonight I was reaaaaalllyyy tempted to go to a drive thru, but I quickly reminded myself of the 10lbs I want to drop and the slacking in the workouts... so I came home and made dinner! Spicy oven baked chicken with salad, Brussels sprouts and I had to add wedges, I was starved remember!

After eating wayy too many brussels sprouts I went down to the city and brought 3 pumpkins to my nieces. Look are cute they are in their costumes!

We have a Madonna costume here, so cute and little M wasn't co-operating, but she will be a butterfly, so so cute!

This Sunday we will be trick or treating with my nieces and my husbands little cousins. I haven't been out trick or treating since I was a kid! So this should be fun with 3 little girls running around!
