Some things I never want to forget

When I see my kids growing and learning at a pace that I can barely keep up with, I stop and think... I never want to forget all of this at every stage!

I never want to forget how baby M says “again” more like “agai-en” when he does something naughty but loves the approval from big brother so he will laugh and say again and on repeat!

I love that when we read our books every night before bedtime baby M picks the same paw patrol book. I read the colors in English and French haha and for dogs we have to say “Dhaghoo”

I love that both kids sing along with me to the songs I made up when I sing them to sleep. (I love my babies, I love them soo much) but first We sing baa baa black sheep of course.
I love hearing both of them sing. It’s the sweetest sound.
Baby M is talking so much these days and asking for things like, visiting nonnas. He asked a couple of times today. “ i go nonnas House”
Little K loves to laugh and will bug his little brother just to get a good laugh. But they love each other so much and have so much fun together.

The days seem like they are flying by!
How is little K already turning 6 at the end of the month :)!

We are having a Ninja birthday! With s daft punk cake? Ha! I’m in the process of convincing him to get a ninja cake!
Thanksgiving is this weekend! We have a big bird to bake! So grateful and thankful for every single person in my life.
Tonight we had meet the teacher corn roast and little K’s school.
Little K took us around his class and showed us all the learning that goes on everyday haha.

Happy Thanksgiving to all my Canadian friends!

Oh hi Fall

Burr ok it's pretty chilly today.

Last Saturday the first full day of fall we were at the beach!

It was a super hot weekend and pretty much hot right up until Thursday.

We had s swim date too with cousin E

Baby M is obsessed with little E, he even sang a song about her tonight until he fell asleep!

The first month of school has been great. Little K is growing and learning and he even got his first project. We read every night before bed and baby M loves it too.

Little K also joined Karate. Which he is loving!

Tonight the Mr and I had s date night. The kids stayed at my moms. They love their nonna. They were soo excited to go to her house. They ran straight into her house and waved bye to us and had a great evening.

We had a delicious dinner, with live music.

Mr M and I have a list of new restaurants we want to try. So much more date nights to come. Yum yum!!

Saturday Mr K got a haircut. He was nervous about his friends at school not recognizing him, haha we had to reassure him that they will recognize him and his haircut was perfect :)

We then went to the amusement park, although we went an hour before close. But it was enough time for the kids to have tons of fun.

October is jammed packed! Lots of family events this month, looking forward to lots of fun!

Have a great week friends!

first few weeks of school!

I wasn't nervous at all about Mr K heading to grade 1... up until the night before! A flood of emotions overwhelmed me. I was nervous for him! Going to a big kid class and the big kid yard!

Little K was ready that morning. He was calm and cool, didn't say much but  he seemed way more ready for grade 1 than I was! Haha

Baby M had a hard time at daycare the past week because big brother leaves the room quickly in the mornings after they get dropped off. During the summer they both had summercamp at the same daycare Little K would stay at least a good hour with baby M before going to the big kid class but now Mr K heads over to the big kid morning class right away and baby M caught on to that. :( he's adjusting but it was a hard first week for him! Missing his big brother!

He looks so big! He had a great first week and another great second week.

He's enjoying grade 1! He loves his teacher and friends. He's practicing his writing and reading without a fight. He loves drawing ninjas still haha it's the cutest. I've seen so much positive change in him and it's only been 2 weeks. The next stage for him is creeping up. He'll be 6 in a month and a bit. 6! Of course it'll be a ninja birthday :)

Yes that's a ninja. He's just breaking in his Halloween costume haha.

Our nightly routine (when we start early enough) always includes reading before sleep. Baby M has his book that he repeats "daghoo" aka dog for the paw patrol book. Little K will start with the books that he is familiar with, that are easy for him to read, and I'll read a new book and have them follow along.

We can't wait to see what else grade 1 brings! Love these little boys so much. 💞

End of summer camping!

This was our second annual camping trip with the kids.

We picked a different camp site than last year. This place was an hour and a half away. The car was stuffed with our gear haha!

As soon as we arrived we set up camp!

I think roasting marshmallows was the kids favorite thing to do. They loved the hammock too!

The first day was warm and sunny. So we went to the beach! A short drive from the camp site. The sand was fluffy and the water so clear. The view amazing.

It was so relaxing and the weather was perfect.

That same night after we went to sleep all cozy in our tent. It rained all night. Which made for a chilly second day.

Which was ok for this park because there were so many trails for exploring.

We dressed warm and went for a nice trail walk.

The kids were so cute walking with their sticks. Their eyes were wide and they were excited walking in nature and learning new things. I learned new things too ha!

We had fun climbing rocks, and throwing pebbles and making wishes.

The boys loved this!

Camping with a toddler wasn't the easier thing. Mr in and out of everthinh kept us on our toes.

Little K loved helping make the BBQ.

We had a fun, cozy, family time weekend with so much snuggling,

The last night both kids fell asleep in each of our arms as we sat by the fire. It was so peaceful. Holding the boys so cold as these years go by quick! Mr K begins grade 1 tomorrow!! Baby M is talking so much and wants to be Mr independent. We cherish these times so much!

Summer 17!
