summer things

Ahhhh we have a new baby in the family!! We are soo excited to finally meet baby A! My sister gave birth last week to a 8lbs 1oz adorable little new niece! I'm a very lucky Aunt! Surrounded by smart beautiful nieces!

The cuteness!

The kids are so in love with her. Little K told all his summer camp friends and teachers. I loved seeing the excitement on his face when we told him baby A was being born that day. Almost made me want to have more babies!!! Haha almost. Haha

The day my sister gave birth I brought my niece over to sleep over. They loved the little sleep over they got to have.

Ugh she's the cutest.

Over the weekend we had my brothers 40th bday.

My sister in law is a great party planner. Everything was set up so perfectly. We had a great time catching up with family and friends!

It's been pretty busy since we came back from our trip! It's been a go go go kinda summer so far. A lot of fun kind of go go go so it's amazing but exhausting at the same time haha.

I'm trying to get back on track! Of course exercising with a toddler is always fun.

We are looking to move too! (More on That in another post) So add that in the mix of a fun filled summer. We have a lot of house viewings which have had us out of the house eating a lot of fast food! It's time to get back on track with eating healthy! I need to make the healthier choice when out and about!

I can't believe we are mid July! I just booked baby M's birthday party and cake! Really!!! He's going to be 2!

My baby is growing up so fast!

We are having a TMNT party!

I can't even remember when he was this little! I'll go cry now haha

Nickelodeon Punta Cana pt2

The one thing I love about vacations, especially resort vacations is the no schedules! No alarm clocks. Letting the day guide you. Just relax and have fun! No cooking no cleaning ahh can I go back!

Some mornings we went out for breakfast, other mornings we ordered room service and spent the morning in our swim up pad. We just did whatever we felt like that day!

The restaurants at this resort are a 5+. We enjoyed the food and the vibes. They were beautifully decorated sheek and modern. Never crowded and never any line ups.

Our favorite day time stop was the cafe.
Lattes and donuts yum!

 Other restaurants indclued the Brgrsph
For the yummy machete burger!!!

A huge burger that is shared.

Wok wok was so very good too! We got sushi, and pad Thai and Mahi mahi fish.

Spacewalker was pretty cool restaurant too, kids loved taking pictures with this astronaut

Oh and I can't forget the big beach party they had with the most delicious food! And awesome party!

One night The Mr and I even got to have a romantic candle light dinner on the beach. The kids went to the Just Kidn daycare which was awesome. An indoor playground. They had fun and we had a wonderful anniversary dinner.

The service was outstanding and our romantic dinner menu was soo good!

Ok enough about food! How about all the super fun things we did!

Aqua park was definitely a fun place to be. Lazy river, water slides, drinks in the pool. Nickelodeon character visits daily!

And SLIME FUN!

So daily they do a draw and pick 10 rooms that will be slimed that day. Our room got picked on our 5th day!
Little K decided he would pull the lever instead of sitting with us. Poor baby am wasn't impressed.

Daily at 3pm they have the water park slime. Which everyone loved ha!

Everyday was so much fun. To be continued!

SK celebration!

Today was our end of year celebration! A special one because MrK has completed kindergarten!!! And will begin grade 1 in September! He's grown soo much since that first day of JK!

First day of JK

First day of SK

Last day of SK

We had to go to the gym and wait for all the kindred to walk in. As they were walking in there was someone holding back the line. Of course it was little K! He was stalling and wasn't sure where we were and didn't want to walk in that big crowd. When he finally walked in and spotted us, he ran over to give me the biggest hug! Totally melted my heart!

Mr K! You are so sensitive. You know exactly what to say to melt this mamas heart!

You love to draw ninjas and hearts haha great combo

You love love love ALL nerfguns and love to explain to us about how each one works exactly.

You are very attentive and pay attention to everything! You are sooo in tune with your feelings.

We can have big boy convos with you that you understand! You are 5!

You love to laugh! You laugh hysterically at things your little brother says.

You love salmon sashimi. If you need to pick a restaurant, you will always pick sushi!

You know what money is! How to collect it! And how to spend it haha. You know you need to save certain amounts to get those things you want!

You like going to soccer, but you still have more interest in the grass, flowers and the weather... oh and the snacks.

You rather a Starbucks cake pop over Timbits.  But you do love a sprinkle donut!

I can write and write! These are just s few things about you right now! We can't wait to see what grade 1 brings for you. We are so proud of everything you do!

We love you!

Now back to our day!

There were stations of fun for everyone. We played, chatted, spent time with great friends and teachers. It was a perfect celebration.

After the celebration we walked over to a nearby shop for ice cream!

Then we headed back to the school for baby M's daycare BBQ!

It was a day full of fun!

 Let the summer begin!!!!

Father's Day weekend!

Our new traditions include Baseball for Mother's Day and Soccer for Father's Day!

Our boys adore their father!

They were so excited to watch the game and loved every second of it!

Of course we had all the goodies like popcorn and cotton candy and popsicles! Yum!

Last year it was tough sitting through full games but this year was much easier. The kids really enjoy these sports events!

There was so much for them to see and take in. Little K loves seeing the CN Tower and they love the crowds of people. They love the freedom of walking around and this big beautiful world all around them.

They were exhausted at the end of the game and fell asleep the second we drove away. Which made for a peaceful very long ride home ha!

The next morning we woke up and headed out for a Father's Day breakfast! Yum!

That night little k came up to me and asked me if I missed my daddy :( I told him of course I do, and that my daddy is in heaven and watches over us. He said he knew that  Nonno Louie was in heaven with Jesus.  How sweet. He totally melts my heart. I love that we can have these conversations too.

This week is his last week of SK and September he will be off to grade 1.

My little guys <3
