Busy Friday before Thanksgiving!

Today started early and it's going to be a busy day!

I went for a job interview this morning. I prepared all day yesterday. It was tough especially juggling the baby and studying in between.

The interview was at 9am! I think it went well. But either way I take it as experience. I haven't had a interview in 3 years!

When I came home I found DH overwhelmed with baby K and working from home haha. I was only gone for an hour! Haha

It's thanksgiving weekend and I can't wait to celebrate with our family. And hopefully go to the fall fair!

I'll be baking this weekend too! Banana loafs, and pumpkin carrot muffins! Yum!

Thanksgiving weekend, OB appt and Belly pics!

We had AMAZING weather this weekend! All weekend it felt like summer! Saturday afternoon the Nursery furniture arrived! It was so exciting and exhausting putting it all together. It's almost done, so I will blog about it soon! Sunday we had a party for my grandmothers 80th birthday! It was a thanksgiving/bday party. My grandmother was so happy with all her gifts and loved having the whole family over to share her special birthday. We all love her sooo much!

Yesterday we went to the inlaws for Thanksgiving Dinner. The weather was soo nice, and for the first time we actually had Thanksgiving dinner outside on the patio! Awesome weather! The Turkey was delicious, and we all ate soo much!

This morning I had an OB appointment. Now I will be seeing her weekly. This week I'll be 37 weeks, eek!
Doctor felt my tummy and asked if I feel a lot of pressure since the baby's head is really low and in position... I said YES! All weekend I felt a pinching feeling along with pressure and could hardly stand. She said the baby is a average size, not too small but not big either, so next week we will to an ultrasound to get more of an accurate size of the baby. I'm thinking he will be 7lbs like I was.

OB thinks little one will come earlier than his due date Nov 4. So the count down is on! Friends and Family all have their guesses in! ahah!

She also stated that fetal movement is most important these coming weeks. If I do not feel at least 6 movements in a day, I'll need to go to the hospital ASAP! She also did the bacteria swap test (GBS) today. (Hope I'm clear!)

This week we will be taking a tour of the Maternity ward at our hospital :) Fun!

ThanksGiving Day!

Yum! Turkey and stuffing and veggies and plenty of dessert! It was thanksgiving weekend.

We had a busy weekend, visiting family and we also had a wedding on Sunday 10-10-10.

We had turkey dinner at my in laws place, and I cut the turkey!

We enjoyed great food and listened to my father inlaw and brother inlaw play the violin and guitar. They were entertaining and felt so relaxing after our huge meal!

My husbands cousins were visiting as well and they are such adorable little girls. They followed me around everywhere. They are just too cute!

Sunday was a beautiful day for a wedding. The weather was so nice! They had a outdoor ceremony and the grounds were so pretty with all the beautiful colors of the trees.
Too bad I blinked in sooo many of my pictures tho. ahahh!

The beautiful bride. We had a great time partying with all our friends. I just love going to weddings.

The weekend went by wayyy to fast! I feel like I need a extra day to rest! :(

We did manage to fit in a movie this weekend. We watched Social Network. We really liked the movie. So I totally recommend it.

Hope you all had a good weekend!

(I think I'll need to add some extra workouts this week!)

Thanksgiving long weekend

This weekend in Canada it was Thanksgiving and boy was it a busy weekend!!

I was able to buy pumpkins this weekend for only 1.99 each! I was happy because I was seriously considering not decorating at all this year. Now I just need to figure out what my Halloween costume will be... hmmm

We had 2 family lunches and I sorta watched what I ate. To my surprise I did not do so bad. :) One of my plates below, I have my Turkey and rice and veggies, pretty healthy I think :) and noo seconds either!

It's a gorgeous fall day today and all the trees have almost fully changed their colors. So pretty!

Hope you are all having a great week so far, I have to catch up with my blog reading today ;)

Don't forget to check out my lovely cousin and lovely sister blogs !!!

ThanksGiving Monday - No dieting this weekend!

Monday is thanksgiving here in Canada Yum! I will say out loud that I am really looking forward to over eating this weekend. How could I not! Sunday we are going to my grandparents for lunch and Monday I'm going to my in laws for a Turkey dinner mmmm. There will be no counting calories this weekend aha!.

During the holidays I always try and do something a little extra for the people out there that do not get to have all the great family dinners like most of us do. I know how it is to be very tight with money but I always had food on the table and a roof over my head and know I am truly blessed. So the other day when I went grocery shopping I bought a little extra to bring over to the food bank. (I wanted to bring it to church on Sunday, but after our girls night, I woke up too late!) So I will head to the grocery store tomorrow to get some more things and drop it all off tomorrow afternoon :)

I have a love hate relationship with fall. I love the changing colors of the leaves and the smell of the air.... But 7 years ago my family spent thanksgiving in the ICU with my daddy in a Coma. I remember friends bringing us turkey while we sat and just waiting and hoping for good news. :(
Since then Fall has never been the same, those memories are always so vivid as if it were yesterday. If you follow my blog you know I mention plenty of times how grateful I am for the amazing family I have. I always remember that during our family holidays, the togetherness we have and the knowing we can get through anything together even if it is extreeeemly painful.

Oh boo sappy ending to my post :( But look at Zoe right beside me. She does not leave my side EVER! Love her!
