February Family day and birthdays!

We had a fun filled February. Last weekend was family day long weekend.

First stop was Ripley's Aquarium

Both kids absolutely loved it.

We were up early that day and arrived early. It was great because it wasn't too busy. The kids were soo interested and baby M was soo excited running around and seeing the aquarium for the first time.

At the end of the walk through the kids got to pick some souvenirs. They loved that part too ha!

We then went to lakeshore for lunch! One of our favorite restaurants. The weather was great too for a nice walk.

Family day long weekend was also the perfect weekend for my sister to do her baby's gender reveal!!!!! Eeeee I had the envelope! I brought it to the baker Fabulous Cakes and he made this awesome cake!

And!!! It's a girl!  We are beyond excited!

A fun day with family.

Cousin love!

The fun continued during the week!
Birthdays!!!!

My husband and my niece share the same birthday!

We had a yummy lobster dinner and cake! The kids loved putting dads gift in a minion bag. Little k wanted to surprise daddy as we walked in the door, so we turned off all the lights and surprised him haha.

Saturday night we then celebrated my nieces birthday. She's 16! Where does the time go!!

We had a great night!

Then yesterday was one of our good friends 6th birthday!

Kids Calendar

Last summer while I was shopping for ink at Staples, I came across a school calendar. It's a calendar for the school year. I call it, the mommy calendar. Ha!

It comes with all these event stickers too which makes it fun for the kids to put on.

With the kids appointments and events and our own appointments and events, we need this calendar. On top of our phone reminders and calendar this one is right in the laundry room, right in front of the door we walk in from.

Today we had one of those busy appointment days.

Baby M had his allergy test in the morning. The good news is that the reaction to dairy is less than it was the last time we did this test. So things are looking positive that he may outgrow this allergy.

Then in the afternoon Mr K had his dental cleaning.

He just strolled in and out of there like it was an afternoon coffee date haha.

We had a quiet weekend. Swimming lessons and piano lessons, a stroll through IKEA, and a lot of movie watching with popcorn. And a little Sunday baking :)

Oh and how can I forget, Friday night sushi! Mr K's fave!

We haven't been to IKEA in years!
IKEA furnished our first home back in 2005. We lived at IKEA!! It brought back so many memories. The smell of those cinnamon buns took me right back to the feelings and memories of us being young and renovating a hundred year old home.
So long ago!

Sunday I felt like I lived in the kitchen. Cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner for these hungry boys. I baked carrot cupcakes nomnomnom which I ate wayyyy too many of. And for breakfast we had Baleadas. We have them every weekend. A yummy Honduran breakfast.
A yummy warm flour tortilla, regret beans, avocado, eggs, cheese mmm we add bacon sometimes too. Soo good!
I could go for one right now!

It was nice having this long weekend.
Now it's back to the school/Work rush tomorrow, and looking forward to the weekend!

Have a great week friends!

Christmas holidays!

We had our tree up early November and it felt like we were waiting forever for Christmas! But then it came and went in a flash! I think it was because we were having way too much fun!

Loads of pictures below!

Let's start with the week before Christmas!

Little K had 2 Christmas concerts at school!

Santa was there too!
We got to meet so many of his friends and parents.

They had cookies and hot chocolate!

Baby M had a Christmas party at daycare too!

Christmas Eve was at my grandparents home. We love getting together with my whole family! Aunts, uncles, cousins!
We even did a remake picture of the grandchildren then and now ha!

We ate yummy food and played games

 Pie face fun!

We watched midnight movies!

 Cousin love!

We got home very late and the kids were pooped!

But! Up early Christmas Day!!

Baby M's first Christmas really being involved. He was soo excited!

Once we opened up all the gifts and had a big breakfast to talk about all that we are so grateful and thankful for... I made a big turkey dinner!

Soo goood!

Loving this time of year and all the family time!

Another one of  Our Christmas traditions is going to watch a movie!

Of course it was Star Wars!!!

Mr K got a lot of new Star Wars items this Christmas! Clothes, books, art, speakers!

Love these boys soo much!

Merry Christmas friends!!
