Baby Physiotherapy

Baby M has a condition called Torticollis. It's basically a stiff neck that has him tilted to the right.
In many cases it's from the position when he was in the uterus. He just preferred tilting to the right, right from birth. 

 
Our doctor spotted this when he was 2 months old and gave us some exercises to do on a daily basis as well as physiotherapy.

His therapy began today, finally after an assessment and long wait!

Our therapist worked with him today and taught me how to do some of the exercises.

 He will have Physio every 2 weeks for now. But she said that he is doing great and really strong, so he's coming out of it on his own too! 

Baby M was sooooo good! He is a very relaxed calm baby once fed and up from a nap. He loved the attention he was getting today and had no problem showing off his ability to hold his head up, stretch and grab some toys.

We even got him this funny looking hat to help him avoid turning right when he is laying down supervised.

He is growing and getting stronger and stronger!

Our Big Boy!

Baby M is 3 months old today! 

Ahhh cuteness! 

You are 14lbs!! My big boy!

You are in size 2 diapers

And 6-9 month clothing!!! 

You do 6-7 hour stretches most nights! Which to me is sleeping through the night! Go baby M! 

You are a quiet baby! Crying only when you are hungry or overtired or when we pick up your brother from school ha! But mostly you sit quietly and smile, your ️adorable sweet smile! 

You put your fists in your mouth now and drool like crazy. 

Sadly you have a stiff neck, torticollis it's called. The doctor just diagnosed you a couple weeks ago. Its causing you to lean to the right. So you will begin physio therapy very soon to help strengthen those neck muscles! 

You are such a sweet baby!

What are you doing these days....?

You are always smiling! and you let out cute little laughs and screams ha!.
You pay attention so much when we speak to you and try to talk back
You love the tv and always turn towards it
You are always looking around and love getting to know the world.
You babble to yourself when riding in the backseat of the car, and I turn the radio off and just listen to you :)
You get distracted so easily now when nursing, if I'm talking or laughing you look up at me and want in on the fun

You love our attention and love playtime
You let us know when you are bored and already have a whiny cry which is so cute ;)
You have a strong neck and hold yourself straight up when we hold you
You love bathtime, you love being pampered
You still hate being cold, so we need to dress you quick!
You hate a wet diaper and need it changed right away. Making mommy a diaper changing machine haha
You finally found your thumb and suck on it until you poke yourself with your other fingers and cry ha!
You are EBF and still wont take a bottle, making sure ill never leave your side :/
You still love to relax to the sound of water/rain from my iPhone or sleep sheep, it totally calms you down.
Your sleep schedule is all over the place and you are changing it on me all the time. I'm having a hard time getting it to any kind of normal. But we will get there! ;)
