Baptism planning!

Now that little k's birthday has passed we can now focus on baby M's baptism!

The church is booked!

Then it was time to choose the godparents for our little boy!

We chose our cousins! These 2 were married just over a year ago and have been together for many years before that!

They are genuine, kind hearted people that follow their faith as best as they can.

They will be great role models for baby M as they already are for little K as big cousins!

To ask them, I made these cards. The Godfather and the fairy godmother, with a sweet poem attached.

We are blessed to have them in our lives and so happy they accepted this role!

Now let's plan this celebration!

We are so excited!

Dinner with the godparents to be

Last night we went out for dinner to celebrate my sister and her husband for being Kristian's godparents soon.
The baptism is only 2 weeks away!

We went to the restaurant we will have the baptism celebration at.

We had so much fun. Kristian wanted to be held the whole dinner, so we passed him around like a hot potato haha!

We had pizza and fried calamari and a plate of mixed grilled meats with mashed potatoes and veggies. Yum!

We also gave them a gift, espressos and lattes for life ha! ;)

We are Godparents!

My husband and I were chosen to be the Godparents of our little niece M!
Yesterday was her baptism. We had such a great time and just feel so honored to be this precious little girl's Godparents. We look forward to guiding her, her whole life.
Our family. Mom and us kids and grand-kids.
So many camera's flashing no one knew where to look!

After the church we went to a restaurant with 80 of our family members. It was so fun to see and talk to all our family. I love having these occasions to catch up with some family we haven't seen for a little while. It's so nice.

By the end of the day we all felt like this...
I have a little flu too so I was extremely exhausted. I'm home from work today, drinking lots of tea and soup and hope to feel better soon!

Happy Monday!
