Second round of eartubes

Baby M has suffered from so many painful ear infections and so many rounds of antibiotics since he was 5 months old.

Last week this little cutie had his second round of ear tubes put in.

We had to be at the hospital at 6am!

This little man was soo brave!

The hospital was great. They had some toys to keep the kids entertained. Baby M rode right into the operating room

And big brother was right by his side for support.

The surgery was quick! They drained a lot of fluid from the middle ear and placed the tubes

These should last about a year.

He was saying more words the same day :)

We were so happy to have him feeling so much better and hearing clearer!

Big brother wanted to be by his side when he woke up.

They got a little treat too.

Love these little guys soo much! The day went smooth and we all went home afterwards for a nap!

weekend fun!

Today we headed out to Canada's wonderland!

The kids love the wagon. It was a little chilly so it was perfect all cozy in there.

The boys love the dinosaur walk. So of course that was the first place we headed to when we got there!

We went on a bunch of ride. Baby M isn't afraid at all! And totally loved it!

We did a lot of walking! Which is great to now add this to our summer fun!

Saturday was a rainy cold day so we went to swimming lessons then over to my grandparents house.

I don't know why I haven't figured out how to put videos on my blog :/ but Mr. K performed a piano song he learned with his teacher for us today. He was so cute. He knew it was a performance and wanted to wear his power ranger costume to perform. Ha! He cracks me up.

The beginning of the school year I volunteered to make playdoh every couple of months. Tomorrow is the last for the school year! I totally perfected making playdoh. I use my kitchen aid mixer.

2 cups of flour
2 tbsp cream of tarter
1/2 cup salt
2 tbsp of oil
1 cup of boiling water with the food coloring in it.
Mix it all up!

No filter! I used the neon food coloring!

I can't believe we are in the second week of May!!! I started getting organized for  our trip in June! Making sure we have summer clothes that fit! Haha. That goes for me too!

Have a great Monday friends, I'm exhausted and need to get some zzzz's

Spring things!

I'm still here friends! I've been MIA from the blog world because we've been crazy busy every weekend with fun events!

We've had birthday party fun.

My nieces 4 year old troll birthday :) haha she's the cutest.

Those adidas gold strip runners were a little bit of challenge to get! Being sold out and size not being true to size. But I got them! Yay! #sportymom

Yes I'll include hashtags for fun on my blog ha!

Oh speaking of blogs! :) I created a new Review blog! Www.reviewolo.com
I have one post so far, but many more to come!

The past few weeks have been up and down with colds and ear infections. We can't wait for some warm weather! And our beach trip only a few months away!

Which has me thinking! I want to start the 21 day fix again! I know it works ! That's how I lost 20lbs  last summer. I really want to drop 20 more!

Ok on to what else we did these past weekends, oh yes. More birthday parties.

 Love these boys sooo much!

Baby M is getting into his terrible 2's  well more like "I'll do what I want when I want 2's" ha! He keeps us busy!!!!

Easter weekend was spent with family .

Mr K also got a cute little haircut. He was upset at first because he thinks his friend (a girl he likes) wouldn't recognize him with short hair. Ha! How cute.

We had a chocolatey Easter.

This pic makes me laugh. Just shows how baby M is just all over and in everything!

Hope you all had a great Easter weekend!

I'll be back blogging my progress on the 21 day fix!

Great Wolf Lodge Niagara

We had an amazing weekend at Great Wolf Lodge!

This was our first time there. We heard great reviews from family and friends so we now know why! It's so much fun!

We booked for 2 nights, 1 paw pass ($64) and the meal package that was an extra $125 for our family.

Hmm where to begin!

Check in is at 4pm but you can get there earlier at 1pm to enjoy the water park. So we did that. Although without a room we needed to get a locker in the water park for all our clothes/shoes/purse.
That was fine tho. We then spent 4 hours splashing around. (We ate lunch before getting there so our tummies were full)

We went on water slides and spent a lot of time in the pool and wave pool, ohh and we loved the lazy river too!

Since we had the food package we went to our room washed up quickly and went to the buffet dinner. Which had everything! Ribs, chicken, pasta, chilli, fries, pizza, the list goes on. Yummy  dessert too.

Although the water park is open 9am-9pm , we spent the evening going through the paw pass items, spent time in the arcade and had fun with story time and dance party in the lobby!

Story time was really cute and interactive for the kids.

The dance party too, baby M was busting his moves haha

The paw pass was really neat. Little K loved going around crossing off the items on the pass.

Like making a stuffy. You can pick which stuffy you like and stuff it! We got a dragon of course. Little K stepped on the peddle to stuff it! Funnier when he stepped on the peddle when she was done and all the fluff went flying in her face. Oops
They fell in love with this dragon,
Which we brought around with us everywhere after that!

Oh the ears is one item too, which I wore the whole weekend.

They also got a wand for the magi quest game.

Which they loved. Walking around the lodge opening treasure or pointing at a painting that came to life. 2 floors of interactive fun with that wand.

They also got another gift and they chose  light up sunglasses, with the paw pass they got a fudge bar, 20 credits for the arcade, 2 bowling games and some crafts in  the cub house and a 5x7 photo.

My boys loved the arcade, of course! We spent hours each day in there. Haha

Ok fine, I love the arcades too ha!

We got the kid camp room with bunk beds.

The kids had their own tv they watched from the bunks.

The room was nice, clean and comfy.

We brought some snacks and water from home so we could have snacks in the evening when we were back in our room.

The next day we used our meal plan for the breakfast buffet. It was a little busy, more than the dinner buffet so the line was a bit long for impatient kids. The lunch was good, we got chicken fingers, hotdogs and burgers and brought it back to our room after the morning swim.

The last dinner we had there we wanted to make the most of our evening and not spend much time in the buffet. So we ordered a pizza and brought it back to our room to eat before heading out to the evening events. They pretty much have all that you need there. Prices are pretty good I think. Not overpriced. They had a good cafe too for that much needed latte us parents need.

We saw others go out and bring back Tim hortons coffee and donuts , it's just around the corner. As are other restaurants /fast food. But it was freeezing so we loved that we could just stay in the lodge and have everything we need.

Sunday morning after breakfast we also spent some time winding down at the cubs corner. Kids colored and played.

We called ourselves the Wolfpack all weekend and we had a blast.
