Beginning to feel alot like Christmas!

Yesterday we went to get a fresh tree! 

We are combining and making new traditions for our little family. 

We went to a tree farm about an hour away.

And Santa was there! 

Little K was happy to see Santa. He told him he wanted presents then gave him a look as if he wasn't sure that this guy he just met was actually going to get him presents. Ha! He cracks us up!

They had dog rides for charity. I thought little k would have been scared. But nope! He was excited to go for a ride! 

We had so much. We did this last year and will continue it every year! 

We put the tree on our stand at home yesterday then waited a day for it to settle before decorating. 

Tonight we put on Christmas music and 

decorated the tree. Now we will order a nice meal for dinner and enjoy the rest of the evening with the house all decorated for the season. Perfect.

Family trip to Cuba!!

We are back from a fun family vacation for my cousins wedding!! 

I have over 500 pictures but I'll share just a few ha! Well more than a few. 

We left last Saturday. We drove to the park n fly as it's so convient! We always do the park n fly, much better than depending on others, that way we are on our own schedule. 

The guys got all the luggages while we waited for the shuttle to the airport. 

Then to the airport. Our airport is amazing iPad central ha! 

The kids were so excited to go on the plane. Everyone was so well behaved and we had nooo issues at all!!

We arrived in the evening and met up with the rest of the family. 

We had a great view! Loved our room!

The weather was sooo nice! Ahh sun and ocean! 

There was a couple of days the winds picked up and there was big waves. We didn't go into the water with the kids. But the guys loved it ha! 

The evenings were so much fun too. Bring on the drinks! Ha! We would order soooo many drinks! The waiter asked if we would actually drink them... Umm of course! And we did! Ha! 

Loved seeing the kids play in the sand. They had so much fun seeing eachother everyday. They would wake up asking to go to breakfast together. Sooo sweet! Every morning we would have fresh made omlettes croissants and fruits to start our day.

Mr hot stuff on the beach. Super impressed with all the kids this week. 

2 of the days after breakfast we took the bus out to varadaro city to shop for a couple hours. Little k had sooo much fun on the bus. He truly is a good little traveller. The bus was a double decker so it was open to above the steps. Little K looked up and said the dinosaur bit the roof off. Ha!

We bought some gifts, including these guitars and these littles performed for us. Ha!

We had a wonderful vacation. Spending time with family. Eating our meals together, having conversations and playing beach side and pool side. Dressing up every evening for lobby drinks and entertainment.  We were a big fun group.

Just a little snow for fall

Our first snow fall! Ok it’s not even winter yet, and yesterday was a crazy evening driving home in rush hour as the snow came down. Oh and the freezing temperature making the roads icy and horrible to drive in.

 

I really shouldn’t complain, I mean, we had a great Fall and from -18 to +9 tomorrow we all can agree that mother nature is a bit confused ha!

 

I’m soo glad I bought these Sorel boots. Walking from my parking spot to and from work was a piece of cake yesterday evening and this morning.

 

Oh and my leather gloves with the iphone tips. Perfect.

 

 

Yesterday I left work just as the snow began.  I spent 3 hours in the car. Picking up little K from daycare and heading home. We stopped along the way to pick up hot chocolate for me and a grilled cheese for little K. That made sitting in traffic on the hwy a bit better. Little K was asking to go to the bathroom while we were in traffic eek. I told him to hold it. and he did! haha. He was in his pull ups and I was surprised that he held it till we got home! We are in the car a lot! So potty training and car rides… this will be a new challenge for us. If you have any suggestions please leave a comment below!

 

Yesterday was just the first snow fall and it wasn’t THAT bad. We have worse to come. I’m also sending my prayers to all those in Buffalo that got hit really bad. Stay safe and warm. Lets pray our winter takes it easy this year.  

 

I’m trying to be as ready for winter as we can be.
