Under the weather

It is a rainy day today.

Little K checks the weather every morning which is the cutest thing. He will check my iphone weather app and then look out the window to see if its true, ha!

BabyM is still under the weather with this lingering cold. We went to the doctor on Monday, but it'a nothing more than a cold which is good. Just not that fun for my baby boy.

Our new juicer arrived! 

With flu season here I will be sure to Juice even more!
My old juicer wasn't working very well so we bought a new one. Which came with 2 free cups, yay! Little K and I love carrot, apple and kale juice.

We have a fun week and I have many blog posts to come! Little K's birthday post and Halloween! A very fun week!

Fun October!

October will always be so much fun because it's little mans birthday! 

It's so close to Halloween so it's always a busy fun birthday week! 

This week is jammed packed with fun! 

I've also been a busy mama getting his birthday and Halloween fun all planned out. 

Before I talk about that.... Friday was pajama day at school! 

Serious cuteness! 

I dropped him off and school but with getting the kids packed up and then traffic I got him there 20mins late! 

Oops! 

After I dropped him off I picked up breakfast for myself so I could start my day quick! 

I put together all the loot bags for Halloween. 

I completed the School loots

No candy allowed at schools so a little pumpkin, sticker and light stick clappy hand was perfect. 

Then put together family and friends

 loots. Yummy! Little booklet, stickers and lots of candy and chocolate! 

Friday night we were so excited to watch our team play. It was a great game.. But  we lost :( so until next year! What a great season we had! 

This weekend was a Low key weekend. Finally! It was nice to have no schedule and no where to be. Just family time. 

We carved 1 out of 4 pumpkins. 

Let's just say it was the practice one. Haha

We baked our pumpkin seeds of course! 

Little k loved the pumpkin seeds! 

We love October! It's birthday week! 

Busy day

Today was a busy day, not that we did anything at all. Just busy day in with 2 kiddos! 

At around 6:30am the monitor for little k's room went blank and started beeping. I thought, oh great it's broken. As I got up to use the bathroom I noticed that the power was out!! The house was soo dark! Good thing for the iPhone flashlight haha. 

I went to wake little k up and he loved that the power was out. He was up fast and walking around the dark hallway ha! 

We went down for breakfast and lit some candles. 

And cuddled because the house was getting cold! 

We didn't need them for long because as soon as the sun came out the house was full of light. 

I didn't know if the school was open or not, either way the husband had to leave  early for work and I couldn't get out of the garage on my own so little k spent the day home with me.

Power was up by 9am haha.

So 2 kiddos needing my attention all day it was. 

We spent some time outside. It was a beautiful day! 

The builders planted trees today. So we went to check it out! 

We love it! How cute!

We played, we watched movies. We made this cutie smile.

He makes us work for that cute smile.

Little k had a fun day off! Now mama needs one ha! 

But I love that I have this time home on maternity leave where I could have him miss a day without stressing over work! 

So glad the weekend is close! 

Tomorrow is pj day at school. I'll blog that tomorrow!

Brothers and mommy life

Being a mom of 2 has me busy! Busy with a newborn and kindergardener. This month is extra busy because it's also little k's birthday! 

I have a long to do list that never seems to get any less even if I do a lot! My days feel short and seems i can get only a little done at a time. 

Today i tweeted... 

Little k's life has me running around haha

But it's fun and I love making him smile! 

Everyday we have special brother moments that just melt my heart! 

Today baby brother smiled at him and he was soo happy, he couldn't stop talking about it. 

But he's one tough cookie  ha! 

The other night while giving baby a bath? He peed! And it was like a rain shower over little k and I. Ha! I snapped a pic of K wiping it off haha we had a laugh! K thought it was hilarious! 

Today he came home and asked to wear his halloween costume. He put it on then went straight to show his baby brother and snuggled with him. 

My loves!!! Love these little boys sooo much!! 

So friday is warm and fuzzy pj day at school! I bought little K a new pj! Dino of course and he will wear a robe too! 

Soo cute! 

I'm slowly trying to get myself back, and moms know what I mean. The getting back in shape, eating healthier, making me feel good too, not just tired with lack of energy. I can't say I started any of it, but it's on my mind daily and im making small changes that will lead to big changes eventually! 

I've dropped 20lbs in 2 months which is great. My goal is to drop 30 more! So I better get to it! I'll keep you posted! 

Fun fall days

No doubt we love fall. But this weekend was more like the beginning of winter. Ha! 

We decided to go to the pumpkin patch with family and friends. The kids had a blast of course! But burr it was cold! And it was snowing too! 

Baby M was bundled up in his stroller  and slept the whole time, smart kiddo. 

Sunday my husband, brother and brother inlaw went on a football day trip to buffalo so us ladies and kids spent the day in at my place.

These kids love eachothers company.

We did some Halloween crafts too

Little K isn't into crafts as much as the girls are. But he did love painting the pumpkin and that morning before his cousins came over, I brought out a dino fossil kit he has from his last birthday! I found it in a bag when going through the closet! 

Well he thought this was the coolest thing ever and loved working on digging out the fossils!!

I wonder what little brother will be into as he gets older! 

 

I do love the newborn phase and  I know ill miss this time when it's passed but I can't wait for the next couple months when Baby M is more aware. Big brother is dying for his attention haha. 

They will have soo much fun together! 

Little k's birthday and Halloween in less than 2 weeks! Yay!! 

I have birthday loot bags for school all ready and loot bags for his upcoming party! 

For school I made these!

Ha! He asks daily if its his birthday yet!!!

2 months old

Tomorrow my baby is 2 months old! 2! 

Having 2 little's makes the days fly by! 

This cutie is growing perfectly. 

So what are you up to? 

You are my big boy! Already in 6 month clothing in some brands! You weigh 11lbs 8oz and in size 1 diapers. 

You are more aware these days, studying our faces. It's hard to get a smile out of you but you tease us. You'll be none stop smiling in no time, so we can wait. Haha

You are much more calmer and quieter so far than your big bro.

You were colic for a couple weeks but that was short lived. Whohoo. 

You are so sweet! 

Today we had your 2 month checkup. All is well and you got your first needles :(

Your big brother can't wait to play with you. He is always trying to get your attention. Always wants to include you in all that we are doing. 

We are all soo in love with you!

Oh! And let's take note that today's Blue Jay's game was Epic! Our whole city was so excited and the Blue Jays played great! Jose Bautista hit a three-run

 homer! The whole game had everyone on their toes!
