Fruits and a good book.

I know it's only Tuesday but I've been doing great following my eating plan and workout plan. Keeping calories under 1500 and I got workouts in yesterday and today so far, so I'm on track!

The number 1 key is to have enough healthy food and snacks in the house so when hungry I go for fruit, or cucumbers for energy! :)

I've been reading eat love pray. I'm only at the beginning of the book and the author talks about learning Italian in Italy. The book draws you in and you feel like you are there experiencing what she is talking about. So today I was inspired! I'm going to take Italian lessons!
My background is Italian, I can understand a little and speak a little but in no way can have a full conversation. I've always wanted to learn and I did when I was 16 and traveled to Italy for 2 months, but I never kept it up. So it's my time to re-learn! Once I feel comfortable with Italian I'll move on to Spanish! :)

Are there any languages you would love to learn?

  1. Italian would be awesome to learn! I wish I knew how to speak Spanish fluently. I know enough to know when people are saying the naughty stuff.

  2. That's awesome you are right on track this week! Awesome! I wish I could say the same- I am good for the most part but I have to cut a few extra cals to get that burn on.

That's awesome about the Italian! I actually just bought a French learning kit and I am excited to refresh! I studied French in grade school and have a pretty good foundation but I want to be extremely fluent. Italian really appeals to me too because my boyfriend is in love with the language and is quite good with it! I want to learn it for him.

    Have a wonderful evening!

  3. Wow, almost everybody in Italy wants to speak English, and Americans want to speak Italian, funny ;)
I have to buy this book almost everyone is talking about it.

  4. P.s. I teach you Italian, you teach me English, deal?

  5. italian is such a beautiful language! i would love to learn chinese because my grandfather was from china. but i'm pretty sure that would be way too tough!
