I used my Food Processor for the first time!
My husband's mom always makes Chimol and I love it. Chimol is like a Salsa I guess. Chopped Tomato, Pepper, Cilantro, Onions,Oil and Lemon. You can make it chunky or you can make it more like a sauce. With my food processor I made my own version! I made it like a sauce so I can pour it over grilled chicken tonight. Yum!
I've been using "myfitness pal" App on my iphone to track my calories. I love this app because it has everything you can possibly think of!
It even had what I ate yesterday... A Mucho Burrito! Delicious! Although, it made me go over my daily calories.... I wouldn't have thought about it at all if I hadn't added it to my app.
Do you calorie count? How have you been doing lately!?
The Chimol sounds delicious! I don't count my exact calories anymore but I did when I was losing weight. For my height I was supposed to have 1200 to 1500 calories a day. I stayed at about 1200. My calories were divided out between six small meals a day. It helped me to lose 27 pounds in three months (along with exercising).
ReplyDeleteOne more thing...even when I was in weight loss mode I never counted calories on Saturday. Saturday has and will forever be my calorie day.

I did calorie count several years ago, but I actually did better losing weight when I didn't count calories. Though, when I did do the calorie counting, it helped me know approx of what to eat and how much.
ReplyDeleteI NEVER count calories. I dont eat wheat, sugar or dairy and i feel amazing. Plus I lost weight in the process. Try it!!!!
