Third week of school!

Third week of school and daycare prep for baby M!

I can't get enough of these ghost busters shirts! Ha! I bought a few more matching outfits for these kiddos. I'll milk it for as long as I can!
Little K is not a picky eater when it comes to his lunches. So making lunch has been pretty easy.  He does ask for bocconcini daily and he's loving hummus. He likes his apples whole and he's loving those lunch box chocolate granola bars and of course he likes carrots over those pretzels. Yummy! Twice a week he will have the school hot lunch which is pasta and pizza and a carton of milk daily. He's not a huge milk drinker but this year he said he wanted the chocolate milk. So let's see!

Now it's time for baby M to transition to daycare :(

This kiddo is on the fast track. He already seems older than 1! He watches and learns so fast from big bro!

We got all his items ready... Diapers, blankets, toys, utensils, clothes and snacks! He was ready for his first day! Only 2.5 hours today. And of course he was just fine. He is surrounded by little girls and he had so much fun. He ate a little lunch and snacks while there too. Of course baby M! You loveeee to eat!

With his little "today is going to be awesome" shirt. It was awesome!

Ohhh my baby. I'm so in love with this little fireball!!

Next week it's back to work for me and a new schedule for all of us!

First week of school!

Little k was excited for back to school last week! Little brother definitely missed him last week!
He got a new paw patrol school bag.
We packed his yumbox and snacks in his lunch bag and he was ready!

He has a great first week! Seeing all his friends again and he has the same teacher which we just adore!
First week photos!

Getting back into the routine has been pretty smooth! I'm grateful to be home right now to help it all go soo smooth!

Back into the routine of early bedtime and early wakeup! Out the door at 7:15 for before school program. I'm soo happy he has so many friends in the before and after school program and he loves it! So proud of my little guy!

Paper work to fill out is still coming in his backpack this week. Ha! Us parents just love that part. Lunch and milk program all set for October too! Mommy is on the ball!

We are looking forward to a great year!

Swimming lessons and piano lessons begin soon for fall too! :)

So Friday night we went out to celebrate the new school year, with little k's favorite meal! Sushi!!!

Have a great week friends!

First family camp trip!

We have been camping before, before having kids that is. So it's been a while since we camped!

We thought it would be a great experience for the kids. I was a little hesitant at first but my husband reassured me that it would be fine!

And it was better than fine.

We had a wonderful time and perfect weather. I was impressed at how well the kids adapted.

We went to a camp site just 1.5 hours away. We took the scenic route and the drive was so beautiful and peaceful.

We arrived and set up camp right away!

Little k was happy to help daddy.

And baby M was loving the freedom of walking all over new territory. Ha!

The camp site had the lake just a short walk away. I never camped at a place like this. How perfect. To walk to the water.

The lake was clear, clean and peaceful.
We spent 2 full afternoons there, taking it all in!

It was soo relaxing. The kids were so good too. Baby M even napped in my arms to the sound of the water.

Mmm the Mr cooked all our yummy meals. We had Pichania, beef ribs, hotdogs, sausages and i made a pasta salad already prepared for our sides.

We had tons of snacks, chips, nachos, candy, cookies, chocolate!

Smores of course!

Yummy!

Little k loved helping start the fire and make his own smores! He likes the marshmallows burnt just like I do. Ha!

Sitting in the dark by the fire was really nice. One kid for each of us in our arms, sitting close and cuddled, telling stories and roasting marshmallows. Definitely a new family tradition for us. This family time was so special and a great experience for the kids.

Little k was so curious. Always asking questions and helping out. He loved being outdoors and loved all the new things he was learning.

The kids were soo excited to sleep in the tent. They would jump around and play with the flashlights. They both fell asleep fast once we cuddled them up with blankets. The nights were a bit chilly but we cuddled close! We all slept great! Surprisingly! We had a queen air
mattress and lots of blankets!

This morning we woke to some noise and when I looked up I saw baby M got to some snacks
He cracks us up!

For breakfast I brought my grill and a old coffee maker I had in the basement. Ohhh this was perfect! Hahaha

The kids would play and explore as we cooked.

We also brought a hammock.

Baby m would sing to himself as it rocked.

I'm so glad we did this little camping  trip.  A perfect way to end the summer. We all got to be so close and the kids learned new things. The best part of camping is not looking at the clock... Just wake when you want, cook when you want, sleep when u want, play, relax whatever! When you want. I think that's what the kids loved most about it as well.

End of summer fun!

Ok so my titles these days are all the same. My blog is my own little snap of all the fun things we do as a family. I love being able to search a year or month and read up a little summary of fun times. So my titles, meh, not a big deal.

Now back to summer fun!

Birthday fun! August is full of birthdays!

Friday we had a breakfast date for my sisters birthday!

The kids had a blast! They all ordered the same thing with a chocolate milk!

Mmm going for breakfast is one of my favorite things. I think us moms had at least 4 cups of coffee that morn. Ha!
Mmm eggs, bacon, pancakes. Sooo good!

Then we headed to the zoo

Hhaha ok so we were a little terrified. These animals were chasing us for food!

And boy was It was a hot day!

After the zoo we went home to relax then got ready to go to the drive in theatre!

We love the drive in!

We changed the kids into their pj's. We brought pillows and blankets and got comfy!

The kids were so cute, eating their snacks and chatting away.

Then Saturday was birthday party number 2 for my niece!

Little k isn't a fan of face painting, my older niece convinced him to get one on his hand. He was cool with that!

I love this pic. He was Sooo happy that he got ghost busters!
Little Mikey loved the dairy free cupcake his Tia got him. Nomnomnom

The fun didn't end there!

We had another birthday party Sunday.

We were exhausted from the weekend! Saturday nights party had us home at 3am!

The weather has been great. So daily bike rides are a must!

This week is all about back to school prep!

Baby M will be off to daycare in a month too! So I'm getting all his things ready too!

These little guys are growing up so fast!
These Darth Vader pj's with a cape just are too too cute! I sent my husband to the Disney store last week to pick up some pj's and of course he picked Star Wars pj's!
