Burr it's chilly

Ok it's still summer! But burr tonight we were in sweaters! It was cold!

This weeks soccer night was pretty chilly too! It's the last week of soccer. I'm looking forward to our evenings back haha yes I'm saying that out loud! We try to only have 2 extra curricular activities a season. With school starting in a few weeeks, we only allow 1 extra curricular to be during a weeknight the other one on a weekend. It'll be a little tougher once baby M starts too.

The week before at soccer they had a Halloween in August practice. Of course little l was a power ranger. This costume has had the best use! It's been his favorite for 2 years!

August is full of birthdays. My niece turned 7! The kids had a blast at her swim party.

This past weekend little k had a dental cleaning. Baby M was so interested which is great, I hope when it's his turned he's comfortable and sits still! A mom can dream haha

Little K loves loves loves sushi. He would eat it daily if he could. One eats raw salmon at sushi dinner while the other eats terreaki steak haha love these little guys so much.

Summer camp was awesome! It was in the school that baby m has daycare so it was so convenient. The teachers are awesome and the program was so much fun. Summer camp was over last Friday. Little k grew and learned so much from his time with friends there.

We have more end of summer fun planned! Then it's grade 1 for little K!

SK celebration!

Today was our end of year celebration! A special one because MrK has completed kindergarten!!! And will begin grade 1 in September! He's grown soo much since that first day of JK!

First day of JK

First day of SK

Last day of SK

We had to go to the gym and wait for all the kindred to walk in. As they were walking in there was someone holding back the line. Of course it was little K! He was stalling and wasn't sure where we were and didn't want to walk in that big crowd. When he finally walked in and spotted us, he ran over to give me the biggest hug! Totally melted my heart!

Mr K! You are so sensitive. You know exactly what to say to melt this mamas heart!

You love to draw ninjas and hearts haha great combo

You love love love ALL nerfguns and love to explain to us about how each one works exactly.

You are very attentive and pay attention to everything! You are sooo in tune with your feelings.

We can have big boy convos with you that you understand! You are 5!

You love to laugh! You laugh hysterically at things your little brother says.

You love salmon sashimi. If you need to pick a restaurant, you will always pick sushi!

You know what money is! How to collect it! And how to spend it haha. You know you need to save certain amounts to get those things you want!

You like going to soccer, but you still have more interest in the grass, flowers and the weather... oh and the snacks.

You rather a Starbucks cake pop over Timbits.  But you do love a sprinkle donut!

I can write and write! These are just s few things about you right now! We can't wait to see what grade 1 brings for you. We are so proud of everything you do!

We love you!

Now back to our day!

There were stations of fun for everyone. We played, chatted, spent time with great friends and teachers. It was a perfect celebration.

After the celebration we walked over to a nearby shop for ice cream!

Then we headed back to the school for baby M's daycare BBQ!

It was a day full of fun!

 Let the summer begin!!!!

Father's Day weekend!

Our new traditions include Baseball for Mother's Day and Soccer for Father's Day!

Our boys adore their father!

They were so excited to watch the game and loved every second of it!

Of course we had all the goodies like popcorn and cotton candy and popsicles! Yum!

Last year it was tough sitting through full games but this year was much easier. The kids really enjoy these sports events!

There was so much for them to see and take in. Little K loves seeing the CN Tower and they love the crowds of people. They love the freedom of walking around and this big beautiful world all around them.

They were exhausted at the end of the game and fell asleep the second we drove away. Which made for a peaceful very long ride home ha!

The next morning we woke up and headed out for a Father's Day breakfast! Yum!

That night little k came up to me and asked me if I missed my daddy :( I told him of course I do, and that my daddy is in heaven and watches over us. He said he knew that  Nonno Louie was in heaven with Jesus.  How sweet. He totally melts my heart. I love that we can have these conversations too.

This week is his last week of SK and September he will be off to grade 1.

My little guys <3

Soccer season and spring fun!

Finding the time to blog has been tough! But With 2 busy kiddos I'm usually exhausted by the end of the night!

Here I am tonight at midnight blogging!

Well I haven't blogged for a couple of weeks so I'll babble on about a few things! Ha!

Firstly! Soccer! Mr M is the coach haha! Yup I volunteered us!

Soccer started on the pretty cold front, but warmer weather has finally arrived!
I guess you can call me assistant coach. I set up the parent snack schedule and took attendance today haha. I try and help but baby M keeps me pretty busy.

Look how big my baby notsobaby is!
He's learning new words everyday and he's soo independent! He's super sweet and cuddly, and always in a happy mood!

This past weekend Mr M went to Formula  1 in Montreal

It was me and the littles all weekend. So we traveled around visiting family.

First stop my grandparents house. My grandfather was working on his garden. Little K is fascinated with it and can't wait to eat those veggies!
Then we went to my brothers home for a BBQ. The kids were learning to chop wood haha!

And me made s'mores!

As we drove around the city and made it back home late Friday and Saturday night, all so smoothly- it just hit me that the boys are now in a different stage. A big boy stage. They didn't give me a hard time at all. Everything was so smooth all weekend. Eating, sleeping, mostly behaving. Haha life moves so fast and in a blink of an eye we moved to this new stage.
Love these boys so soooo much!!!

More exciting things to come the next couple of weeks! And our Nickelodeon trip! Can't wait to share that with you too!

Have a great week friends!

Piano Recital 2017

Little K isn't quite ready for a piano recital, but when he is, this mama will be tearing up!

His piano instructor had a recital for all his more advance students.

It was held at the University of Toronto.
This was our first of many piano recitals to come!

The recital was beautiful. All very talented children. Some were so young and so talented they made me tear up!

One day Little K will be up there!

And baby M too because I couldn't keep him away from that piano!

We had a fun afternoon. See all the pics below! After the recital we walked around the campus.

And of course we went for a yummy sushi dinner afterwards!

Victoria Day long weekend!

We began our weekend with soccer! The start of soccer season!

Little k's soccer club teamed up with TFC to have a soccer kick off for the kids.

Little K had a blast!

There was music and a free TFC gift bag. A fun soccer evening for the kids. Perfect way to start the season!

Saturday we had a shopping date
And stopped over at one of our favorite bakeries. Yum!

Some yummy pineapple buns and bubble tea!

We had a visitor that evening! We babysat my niece and the kids had a blast playing in the backyard and having a movie night with lots of snacks!

So much fun!

This little cutie calls me Anna, which we all find so funny haha.

Not even 2 yet and he's so independent and let's you know exactly what he wants. He's so funny and cuddly and talking so much more these days.

I posted this picture on instagram the other day. A lot of moms were posting pregnant pictures and their newborns .

Ahh these cuties!

The rest of the weekend we relaxed, had BBQ, went for walks, watched fireworks, watched movies and had fun!

We are excited for the nice weather and all the summer fun!
