37 weeks pregnant update!

This week!
How Far Along: 37 weeks!

Size of baby: FULL TERM!

Movement: Lots of movement and hiccups

Sleep: Up more often because of pressure on my bladder!

Cravings: CHOCOLATE!

Symptoms: Same as last week. Joints are sore.

Best Moment so far: Setting up the Nursery! Check it out!

What I'm looking forward to? Meeting my little boy's little face!

Yesterday I went on a tour of the Labour and Delivery Ward in the hospital.  There were about 15 couples on the tour. Lots of preggos!

They showed us where to check in when we get there and the actual delivery rooms. They are not too big and only allow at most 2 people. I will have only my husband in the delivery room so it's ok. They also have Jacuzzi's and birth balls if I want to use them.  I seen the delivery bed and the huge lights that will shine down when delivery is happening. EEK!!!

They also have a baby warmer station within the room.  If baby is healthy and doesn't need any urgent care then they keep the baby in the same room for tests and clean up :) Once delivery is over they will then transfer me to another area where family and friends can visit :) We have large families so I requested a Private room, but my hospital only has 3, and it's first come first serve. So we'll see I guess.

It felt so real walking through the delivery area, and I thought, OMG I'm gonna HAVE A BABY!! haha. The new babies were crying too, and new dads out in the halls holding their little bundles with big smiles on their faces. So sweet. I felt so emotional.

Now that I'm 37 weeks the baby is considered full term. He can now come any time he likes! :)

Weekend recap, nursery and OB appointment.

Friday night was my sisters Champagne Birthday! We all went to a nice dinner DT and I gotta say, I had the most delicious appetizers and steak dish that night hhaha heaven!

My mom was babysitting my nieces so when I got there I spent sometime playing with little M. My mommy skills are not to sharp yet... I gave her, her sippy cup with water and didn't turn the lid tight enough... Baby M poured it all over herself and in the playyard... haha. I now know for next time.
I also fed her, her favorite yogurt... I did ok on that, whew!

Saturday we finally purchased the nursery set! I was a little sad that it won't be delivered until the first week of October.  But it's ok, Baby K's due date is Nov 4.

I went with this set below. Crib and Hutch. I also got a night table and the glider chair in beige :)

We also bought all the extras for his room too! Curtains for the bay type window in his room, shelves for the closet, and a new light fixture too.
It's all coming together!

Sunday we had a relaxing day with family. My husband has 3 brothers and I have a brother and sister... Baby K has lots of Aunts and Uncles (Tio's, Tia's and Zio's and Zia's) that are all anxiously waiting his arrival! Both sides of our families love Soccer... So baby K will surely be confused with ALL the teams he will be cheering for ahahha! Mommy is Italian, and Husband is Honduran... Husband cheers for many different teams, like Brazil and Spain and many others... except Italy ahhah! I don't think my grandpa would be impressed.

This morning I went to my OB.  She said that the baby sounded busy! His heart rate was 141bpm and she heard him kick like crazy. My placenta is placed in the front so it acts like a big cushion to many of the kicks, that is why some days I hardly feel kicks and other times I do a lot, just depends on where he is kicking. She felt around and said his head is down, she measured the belly and said it's growing perfectly!

Feeling baby kick a lot right now between my ribs!

She also suggested I take prenatal classes. I wasn't going to, but she has been telling me to since the beginning.. maybe I should?

This week I will be dropping off the paper work to the hospital where I will deliver. Time is flying!!! 10 weeks to go!!!!!!!

Hope you all had a fun and safe weekend.

I Finally decided on nursery decor!

So I finally decided on nursery decor! Maybe it's the hormones but I just could not decide on the decor I wanted. I had lots of ideas and thought  I knew what I wanted but it all made me crazy and I even cried when I would visualize it. So today, with the help of my sister and husband I finally decided on what I will be going with! I pictured the decor in both spare rooms (just in case I change my mind on which room his nursery will be in) And I can visualize the decor in both rooms perfectly!

What do you think!

This is the bedding I already have from Toys R us

Wall decals, I will choose brown/beige/blue colors.

Nursery Set, not sure if this one exactly but I do want the hutch and glider :)

And of course his little savings plan ahahh.

New things I ordered on Etsy! Check it out!

So I spent some time today shopping on I bought a few items and have my eyes on a bunch of other items too... oh boy!
I bought these stickers for little K's month birthdays haha! A friend of mine bought tie one, so cute.  I decided to go with these ones. Excited!

I bought another knotted little hat, in a brown this time and baby K's name in blue.

Also bought this grey hat.  I bought the booties (below) last time, so got the hat to match!

Things I'm eyeing...
How cute!
If you sell on Etsy, let me know! I will pop over and take a look!

My Peg Perego Skate 2011 arrived!

Here it is!

We put it together last night and strolled around the house with it ha! We love it!

It also came with a rain cover, shopping bag and cup holder!

We also took measurements for the nursery.  I'm still torn between the 2 rooms I have that can be for the nursery. One is a perfect square room, 1 window more wall space, but a little bit smaller than the other room. Second room has 3 windows, so less wall space. I think decorating of the room will need to be after we get the furniture, that way we decorate the right room!

Nursery and Stroller idea's and wish list

I have soo many ideas for the nursery I keep going back and forth like a crazy person. I'm still going through all my ideas and even trying to decide which spare bedroom to choose, (room 1 is a perfect square with 1 window, room 2 is a longer than it is wide room with 3 windows)  I'll decide eventually, but here are some ideas I have.
A white tree on the wall (could be painted or even a sticker) I am thinking of  painting the room a Oatmeal (lighter beige) color on 3 walls and a milk chocolate color on 1 wall (same as my bedroom) Or just all oatmeal color with a brown tree.

I'm also thinking of adding a rocking chair to the nursery. I think it's a cute touch. i also like the reclining chairs, I haven't fully decided on which one yet. I don't like to crowd a room so I may go with whichever takes less space.

I found a site with word decor and I really like this for above Kristian's crib.

But also like these wall letters spelling out his name but afraid if I put them over the crib they might fall...
This is the crib set I like so far.
My mom already bought me this bedding set. What do you think?

I think I finally decided on the stroller I want too. I had another stroller in mind and I was sure I was going to go for but the other night we decided to just look at this one. One thing that sold me was the extra jumper seat that can be added. It also comes with more accessories than our first pick and has many of the same features too for half the price, bonus!. I also really liked how this one felt as I rolled it around toys r us. So for now this stroller bumped to my  #1.

I'm sure this will not be my only blog post with my ideas ha!

Would love your feedback and any suggestions!! :)
