Third Trimester brings on more change

Third Trimester changes are creeping up. I feel my joints getting looser, my foot size increasing, my mood swings getting crazier, and my nesting stage completely taking over. And the dreams, ha! they are getting crazier! I keep dreaming of the hospital losing or switching my baby, boo! However, in my dreams my delivery is quick and painless haha, that part of the dream is good.

On the weekend I went to buy a couple pairs of comfy shoes... My regular size was 7 1/2 I'm now in a 9! I've seen cute shoes online that I wanted to get, but I really need to try things on with my new size and all. But many of the store I went to don't have what I want!

So for now I bought these 

 And these, which I used as slippers yesterday haha!


I have 3 events this month, and with belly growing like crazy every week, I need to see what outfit will work pretty much a couple days before each event. This will be fun. Hoping some cute dresses I have still fit. 

I'm getting really excited and I can't wait to put the baby stuff together, just need to make sure I keep this little one from claiming things as her own haha! I need to make sure my furbaby gets a lot of love too even when baby comes. Maybe we will get her one of those big ceiling to floor scratch posts for the basement as a gift.

Foods For The Third Trimester

Today's BF - multigrain toast with cream cheese, half milk half coffee and cookies



Sooo cookies are not on the list for 3rd Trimester foods haha! But they do make for yummy snacks or side dishes ha!


 I always check out my book to see what foods are best per trimester (I love this book by the way)
It lists lots of foods and why they are good for mom and baby.  There are many things in here that I don't like though, So I just pick out the ones I like :)

There are only 5 things on this list that I will add to my grocery list,
Black beans/Salmon/Eggs/Nuts/and Swiss Cheese.


It talks about taking fish oil pills and I read a lot of mom blogs (and twitter moms) that took supplements, but when I asked my doctor she said not to. So I will try and add more fish to my diet this last trimester..... Try....

Any foods or meal recommendations? Send them my way. First Trimester food aversions are back, and I don't think a diet of only bread, cookies, nutella and milk will be good enough for baby K  :)

The baby is kicking so much!

So the last couple weeks I was still feeling only light taps from baby K, nothing too strong... But that all changed yesterday morning at 5am! The baby was kicking hard enough to #1 wake me up at 5am and #2 have the husband feel it too! That was a first! I think Zoe liked it too. ha! Yesterday she came at sat right on my belly and the baby was kicking around. Poor Zoe is in for a surprise when baby K arrives haha!

Tomorrow I'll be 26 weeks and I'm approaching my third trimester. I noticed that my appetite is much more demanding but I also find that the food aversions symptom is back. Some things just taste so weird to me. Nevertheless I still find the foods that I love and gobble them up.

Tomorrow I'll blog about my 26 week update and I'll step on the scary scale... hmm or maybe not we'll see ha!
