Thanksgiving weekend stuffings!

Stuffings as in stuffing our faces with delicious food all weekend!

Saturday we went to the fall fair. It was pretty cold and windy so we did not stay long. We had bought about 11 tickets for the rides they had at the fair... funny that we didn't really think about which rides little Kristian could go on... which was just 1 haha! So as some kids walked passed me I gave them our tickets, they were soo happy :) We walked around and had corn on the cob and bought apple pie too. Once we got home we were soo tired! So we decided to order take-out at our favorite Italian restaurant and have a mini pre Thanksgiving dinner with our little family.

Sunday was Thankgiving lunch at my granparents house. Always so much fun with my family. Laughing, telling stories. Watching the kids play. It was soo nice. It was my grandmothers birthday last week, so we had a cake for her too!

Then Monday was Thanksgiving lunch at my inlaws. Delicious Turkey lunch! We were sooo stuffed!

Kristian was soo good the whole weekend. One thing this boy loves,  is to EAT! he loved all the new foods he ate this weekend. Especially the Turkey. He is having leftovers for lunch today and he keeps asking for more!

The weekend was busy and Kristian's naps were all over which made his bedtime all over too. Today we should be back on track!... I hope!

We had a lot of fun this weekend, but like always it went by way too fast!!! Kristian's First Birthday is getting closer!!!

Busy Friday before Thanksgiving!

Today started early and it's going to be a busy day!

I went for a job interview this morning. I prepared all day yesterday. It was tough especially juggling the baby and studying in between.

The interview was at 9am! I think it went well. But either way I take it as experience. I haven't had a interview in 3 years!

When I came home I found DH overwhelmed with baby K and working from home haha. I was only gone for an hour! Haha

It's thanksgiving weekend and I can't wait to celebrate with our family. And hopefully go to the fall fair!

I'll be baking this weekend too! Banana loafs, and pumpkin carrot muffins! Yum!

This month is a busy one on our calendar. I just know it's going to fly by!

We have Thanksgiving this weekend!

Kristian's First Birthday! and first day of daycare at the end of the month!

It's also the 10th anniversary of my dad's passing this month. :(

I'm going to enjoy this last month home with my baby boy as much as I can!

My Baby is 11 Months Old!

Kristian! You are 11 months old today!

So what is new!?

You weigh 18lbs and in 9-12 month clothes. Size 4 diapers.

You have 4 top teeth and 2 bottom ones.

You are crawling like crazy and love to stand! you balance all the time now not holding anything!

You love to copy us and we get a good laugh. You comb your hair with the brush and now shake your head yes or no and laugh hysterically when you do NO. You say no as 'NnDa' and you say mama especially when you want to nurse or nap.

We watch BabyFirst Tv episodes and you follow along so well. You do what they say when it's time to clap or wave hi/bye. You always clap when you hear someone say 'yayyy' it's adorable. You love giving me kisses and hugs. You are doing new things everyday!

You eat everything these days, and I can't even get a spoon near you, you will get mad. You love to sit, feed yourself and relax. Which I love, because I relax too! You eat Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and sometimes a snack. You beg for food that anyone has, and they must share or you get upset ha! You will share too if we ask you to feed us, you'll drop food in our mouth haha! You still nurse, and we go forward and backward with weaning. You nurse anywhere from 3-5 times a day.

You finally grab and drink the sippy cup on your own, whooo! You drink water or milk.

You loveee to take a bath and splash around. You cry when we take you out. You would stay in there for sooo long haha.

Your sleep is all over, depending on teething especially. But the last couple nights you have been sleeping great! Waking only twice briefly and our wakeup time 730-830am

You always wake up so happy waving HI when we come get you.

We love your little personality, you are sooo sweet. Even with your new bossiness of not stoping till you get what you want. We love that too!

You melt my heart everyday!! I love bring your mom!

Almost 11 months old!

We are approaching 11 months! And I think this month has been the hardest on me. With trying wean and preparing for back to work. I have so much on my mind and feel more stressed!

This cutie is learning so much and from 9-11 months has been on development over drive! Even waking at night to sit up and try to stand or wake up waving hi in his sleep ha! He is a happy baby but boy does he have his bossy moments! He wants what he wants and does not give up a fight! When he does not want to be in the carseat he will cry and kick forever until he is out. If he wants to nurse, he will not quit until he gets it! But then he is also the sweetest calm, soft little boy too. With a sweet smile that will melt your heart! Definitely a mix of the husband and I haha!

These days he is all about balance too.

13 week ultrasound...

Not me! Haha! My sister! I've been trying to get her to blog her pregnancy but she is too busy with her new house and making a baby ha!

So from time to time I'll blog about her ;)

Monday I went with her for an ultrasound! Eeeeee!!! I was so excited to be there with her!

I got to see him or her! Waving and kicking around so busy playing in his comfortable home Ahaha.

Weaning is tough stuff!

Baby K has another tooth on it's way and was up a lot last night. The last couple nights waking every 2 hours! Oh boy!

We are going forward and backward with weaning. If you follow my blog or twitter you know! Some days not nursing at all during the day and other days like this morning nursing was the only way to quiet him down to nap.

I took an extra month off, but now it's creeping up closer again.

The pressure of weaning baby has me a little stressed. I'm sure all parents can relate, whether it's weaning from breastfeeding or from a bottle or pacifier.. Changing up their routine is tough stuff! I also didn't know the symptoms that come with weaning too! Headaches for one as my hormones change. Moody and feeling down too.

Ugh! Trying to take it slow but it can get frustrating at times too. Needing some fellow moms support! ;)

Baby knows best?

My little guy ate a whole little container of blueberries yesterday (cut in half). Everytime he was done he cried for more.

It amazes me each time I feed him different foods. He loves the good stuff. I know that babies change all the time. (oh do I know that) But right now my little guy loves pretty much all fruits, veggies, beans, whole grain toast with cheese.... He gobbles it all up and always asks for more.

With our sorta- trying -not succeeding-don't know what I want to accomplish- weaning-sleep training going on (haha!) meal time has been a calm relaxing thing around here. Where we can both sit and chow down without any fuss.

Today I'm steaming zucchini and butternut squash. I also bought more delicious blueberries and avocado today.

Staying in on a rainy day

  

Rainy Day here! So we are staying in. I want to cherish these days home playing with little K before it's back to work! >insert tears here<

Kris loves to sit and play with his toys. Especially playing with the drum. He will crawl and get it wherever it is and start drumming away.

He also loves to crawl to Zoe and pet her. But Zoe will allow him at first but then plays a little rough and may swipe at him. So I always need to tell Zoe to leave! ha!

Since we will stay in all day today playing, I will also use today to get some things done like Online Shopping, Laundry, Clean up, Bake a little and work on my resume that I have been procrastinating with.

Tomorrow will be a nicer day and I'm looking forward to a nice walk in the park!

Making a 1 year scrapbook already!

I don't know about you, but I feel like the days are flying by!

I can't believe my little one is almost 11 months old!

I can't believe I'm planning his first birthday!

I can't believe he will be going to daycare in November!

I've been working on his 1 year scrapbook. I'm also done. I was crying while doing it! I just can't believe it, I remember bringing him home yesterday!!!

I'm so glad I have this blog, logging all the special moments and milestones so I can always come back to read.

My little boy amazes me everyday! He is growing and developing soo fast!

He is so independent too! He eats all his meals alone and doesn't want my help at all! He even asks for more saying Mmmm Mmmm ha! He is learning to hold his balance while standing and he keeps trying and trying! It's amazing to watch! He is crawling around everywhere throwing his toy balls and getting them back.

He is sooo sweet and social too. Always waving and blowing kisses to people ha!

I love him sooo much!

I need time to hold still for a bit while I absorb all his cuteness!!!
