Weekend recap snow days

Thursday we had a big snow storm! 

The commute to work was much longer than normal. The roads were so bad! 

Little K loved walking through all the snow. 

So we made him shovel the sidewalk. Ha!

By Friday the roads were clear and the snow was already melting from milder temps. 

We had a fun weekend. My weekend started Friday night with these girls 

We went for dinner and caught up with eachother. It's been a while since we all got together minus the kiddies. 

The rest of the weekend was dedicated to Christmas shopping and fun with little k. 

We went to a outdoor oulet mall. A little chilly for that tho! We shopped a bit. And really enjoyed the Christmassy feel with all the lights and decorated trees! 

We then went to enjoy a Christmas lights show! 

All that shopping and driving got us hungry. 

Yum pizza!!! 

It was a fun day about an hour away from home. We stopped for chocolate treats for the car ride home from Hershey's Factory. Yum!! 

We got home late and we all crashed! 

This morning we were out early to continue the Christmas shopping. First stop breakfast at a nearby restaurant then a park for fun before getting to any stores.

A winter wonderland.

I love waiting last minute to shop for gifts.  So this year is no different. I'll be shopping and wrapping till Christmas Eve! Little K is so much more excited this year. He can't wait for Santas gifts! 

Beginning to feel alot like Christmas!

Yesterday we went to get a fresh tree! 

We are combining and making new traditions for our little family. 

We went to a tree farm about an hour away.

And Santa was there! 

Little K was happy to see Santa. He told him he wanted presents then gave him a look as if he wasn't sure that this guy he just met was actually going to get him presents. Ha! He cracks us up!

They had dog rides for charity. I thought little k would have been scared. But nope! He was excited to go for a ride! 

We had so much. We did this last year and will continue it every year! 

We put the tree on our stand at home yesterday then waited a day for it to settle before decorating. 

Tonight we put on Christmas music and 

decorated the tree. Now we will order a nice meal for dinner and enjoy the rest of the evening with the house all decorated for the season. Perfect. 

2 weeks till Christmas! Happy Holidays everyone!!

Family trip to Cuba!!

We are back from a fun family vacation for my cousins wedding!! 

I have over 500 pictures but I'll share just a few ha! Well more than a few. 

We left last Saturday. We drove to the park n fly as it's so convient! We always do the park n fly, much better than depending on others, that way we are on our own schedule. 

The guys got all the luggages while we waited for the shuttle to the airport. 

Then to the airport. Our airport is amazing iPad central ha! 

The kids were so excited to go on the plane. Everyone was so well behaved and we had nooo issues at all!!

We arrived in the evening and met up with the rest of the family. 

We had a great view! Loved our room!

The weather was sooo nice! Ahh sun and ocean! 

There was a couple of days the winds picked up and there was big waves. We didn't go into the water with the kids. But the guys loved it ha! 

The evenings were so much fun too. Bring on the drinks! Ha! We would order soooo many drinks! The waiter asked if we would actually drink them... Umm of course! And we did! Ha! 

Loved seeing the kids play in the sand. They had so much fun seeing eachother everyday. They would wake up asking to go to breakfast together. Sooo sweet! Every morning we would have fresh made omlettes croissants and fruits to start our day.

Mr hot stuff on the beach. Super impressed with all the kids this week. 

2 of the days after breakfast we took the bus out to varadaro city to shop for a couple hours. Little k had sooo much fun on the bus. He truly is a good little traveller. The bus was a double decker so it was open to above the steps. Little K looked up and said the dinosaur bit the roof off. Ha!

We bought some gifts, including these guitars and these littles performed for us. Ha!

We had a wonderful vacation. Spending time with family. Eating our meals together, having conversations and playing beach side and pool side. Dressing up every evening for lobby drinks and entertainment.  We were a big fun group.
