Baby M's Baptism

Sunday we celebrated a very special day! 

Baby M's baptism. Joining us in our Catholic faith.

We chose a special couple, cousins of mine to be his Godparents. We are so blessed and thankful to have them in our life and now even closer to our family. 

I loved the message our Deacon had for us. He loved seeing a church full of family and friends coming together to see their loved ones getting baptized. There were about 10 babies getting baptized Sunday. The whole church was just filled with so much love. 

That morning our family came over to dress baby M in his special outfit. 

Our tradition is That the Godparents dress him. 

His Godparents got him his first Gold necklace with a cross. Just beautiful. 

Little k was all dressed up to celebrate his little brother too!

It was such a fun morning! 

Baptism time! 

Our friends and family were all there to witness baby M's baptism. 

After baby M's was blessed with holy water, my husband held a candle to the alter.

It was a beautiful day. 

After the ceremony we all headed to the restsurant to celebrate!

TGIF!

TGIF!! Even Little K knows what Friday means! He gets so excited and walks around the house saying its Friday!!!!!! It's frozen yogurt day at school so he really really likes Friday's ha! 

Little k loves his school. I love that they are always doing fun things throughout the winter like sledding! 

We had a little snow storm this week, just  when we thought Spring was around the corner. 

We have had such a busy week! I feel like the week flew by! 

Baby M has been fighting colds, ear infections and sore throat for 4 weeks! 

We've had some cranky days here.

At 6.5 months he is an active strong baby! Rolling around getting in crawling position even downward dog yoga position and practicing crawling forward but a master at backwards. 

He loves to eat and shows he's finished or that he doesn't want any more by spitting. I'm trying to teach him some signs like EAT and FINISHED.

Little K is growing up so fast! He's such a  loving big brother it's ️️adorable. 

We have a lot of errands to run today. So our day will begin early!

First tooth and birthday fun!

Guess who got their first tooth!!

Baby am got his first bottom tooth! 

He's been a little under the weather fighting ear infections for a couple weeks :(

Over the weekend baby M's godparents to be came over for sushi dinner!

We had a fun evening eating, talking and playing. Even zoe wanted in! 

Then Monday was daddy's birthday!!!!

Baby M was so sick on Monday so we had dinner and cake at home! Little k was excited to have a birthday dinner and cake for his daddy!

It was also my beautiful niece's birthday!!! She turned 15!!! She's celebrating her quinceanera! She's so excited for her big party! 

The weather isn't the greatest today. Baby m and I managed to get to some stores this morning. But it's s blizzard out there!

6 months old!

Baby M you are 6 months old!

You already had your first was ear infection :( Tuesday's 6 month checkup went well and your ears are clear! 

The doctor was happy to see you so strong. You weigh 16.7lbs and in size3 diapers. You are in 9-12month clothing! My big baby boy! 

You are the sweetest! You are so calm and gentle. You are our teddy bear! 

And you love your family Soo much! Including zoe! When you see her you try and call her over with your soft babbles ha! 

You are eating more and more. Doc told me to increase to 3x a day so that we will do! 

You roll all around and get in crawling position. You slither backwards and around but not yet forward. You practice daily so I don't think it'll be much longer till you crawl everywhere! 

Happy 6 months little man! 

Valentine's & Family Day!

It was family day long weekend here and of course Valentine's Day too! 

Friday baby M and I spent the day at the mall with my sister. The big kids at school/daycare. 

It was nice to shop in the mall without the big kids, ha! 

Perfect start to the long weekend.

We had family fun all weekend! 

Saturday the cousins were together all day. 

They enjoy eachothers company and they were all hyped on V day chocolates.

And Baby M is 6 months!! What! More on that tomorrow!

3 Valentines! I'm soo lucky to have 3 Valentines! I was a happy mama this long weekend with all the love and 

cuddles. 

Sunday we took the kids to the science center. This was little k's second time here. He came last year on a school trip.

We watched the space movie in the IMAX theatre. 

Which made me nauseous haha but the boys loved it.

He learned so many new things.  We can't wait to go back. He wouldn't stop talking about it after we left. He loved learning about space which he's also learning about in school so he was paying close attention to that. He loved the skeletons and learning about the digestive system, electricity and weather and so much more. Just a great day for learning. 

Yesterday we spent family day indoors. 

We played games, watched movies, baked, bathed haha we thought it would be fun to have a big bubble bath in the middle of the afternoon. The kids were soo happy! 

Little k usually hates haircuts. He refuses to go to a hairdresser. So I usually trim it with scissors myself. Yestersay we asked if we could try the shaving machine...he said ok. Ha! So we did this! 

Not bad! Considering im not a hairdresser haha!
