Date night!

Saturday night was date night!!

Ohh how I've been missing those! We haven't had s date night since baby M was born. So I was soo looking forward to an evening out!

I took a couple hours to get ready! I did my hair with the curl pro and makeup and was ready to go!

Pre-pregnancy dress! Whooo!

We dropped off the kids then headed downtown!

The restaurant was soo good! This was the second time for us. We went to this restaurant for my birthday 2 years ago!
I love how they make the Caesar salad in front of you.

Soo good!

Wine of course.

We shared a 25oz steak! Soo good!
With sides of mushroom, rapini, and duck fat Fries!

We sat in the piano lounge so we had a very romantic dinner.

And I love how they give muffins to go!

We had a great night out.

And the kids had a blast with grandma!

Now I'm soo looking forward to our next date night!!

Trump x2 Date Night fun.

This weekends date night included a night with no toddler at the Trump hotel!

We loved our stay there in the summer for my birthday, so when the husband told me a couple weeks ago that he had booked it for a date night to celebrate all the new and exciting events in our lives, I was soo excited!

What I didn't know is that he booked the deluxe suite!

Ahhh it was beautiful!

29th floor, view of the financial district, fireplace, sitting area separate from the bedroom. His and hers bathrooms, heated floors, mirror TV. So much more in this lavish room!

We checked in Friday evening. The staff was soo polite and soo helpful and made us feel amazing! When we got there the concierge asked us if we wanted him to take some pictures of us... Of course!

We had dinner reservations at a restaurant just a 10 minute walk away. So
we opened a bottle of wine, taking in the beautiful room as we got ready for dinner.

The view of all the banks DT and all the city lights!

They had the best tasting white chocolate truffles placed at the bedsides. Mmm! Soo good!

And of course trump robes and slippers.

The suite was just sooo nice and elegant! I took soo many pictures because I want some rooms in my new home to be Trump inspired!

(Calvin Klein dress I bought last month arr Saks fifth ave)

We headed out to dinner and the night was perfect! A beautiful warm fall night.

Steak! Nomnomnom. The steak came and it was sizzling! The waiter told me to hold up my napkin so my outfit didn't get splattered! Ha! Late night out with lots if food and wine.

The next morning we had breakfast in the hotel.

They redecorated from the summer. I actually liked the way it was before more than this design. But still, colorful, artsy and classy.

I didn't want to leave ha! Although I did miss my little guy. He had a fun night with grandma and was soo excited to see us in the morning.

Date night was so nice and so needed! A little time to decompress and have alone time as a couple.

Daylight savings weekend

Who is tired!? Zzzzz we changed the clocks forward Sunday morning. Little K slept in this morning and I allowed him an extra 15mins before waking him up to get ready. I felt so bad! He looked so cozy this morning.

This weekend was the usual, busy busy!

Friday night was date night at a Jazz club downtown. We had a great time.
The music was amazing and a place we will definitely go back to.

We are beginning to declutter and stage the home to sell in the spring. Saturday morning we had a cleaning complany come in for 5 hours. While that was happening we went out to get new items for the bathroom and bedroom. It was a early morning for us, we were up at out at 8am!

Saturday night we were over the inlaws for my sil's birthday celebration! They have a karaoke speaker/microphone and little K had a blast! He was so excited and went to grab us one by one to come dance and sing with him.

Cuteness!

Yesterday I went to get my hair colored and cut by my cousin. My hair feels so much lighter! She layered and thinned it out!

It's Monday, the start of a new week. Let's start today with love and positive thinking. This morning I read this bible vs and reminded me to trust in God when we are dealing with things in life we are unsure or afraid about.... It's easy to get caught up in what society tells us of how to think and behave.....

When confused...

Prov 3:5: trust in The Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.

Back to work and date night

Last week was my first week back to work! I'm happy to say it went pretty smooth. We still need to adjust our new routine a bit, but we did well for the first week. We were proud of ourselves ha.

Little K was great all week with his new full-time at daycare schedule (good as in good for a 2 year old  minus the terrible twos moments we have daily)

Yesterday night my husband took me to a deliscious steakhouse to celebrate my first week back to work. We had a great time. The service at the restsurant was amazing, actually the best overal experience at a restaurant I've ever had. They even took us for a tour to the different floors the restsurant had to show us what it was all about. We sat in its lower level dining room where the ambiance was perfect, music, candle light, comfortable seating. Perfect.

We have been following a top 10 steakhouse list and this was the forth one we've been to and the best so far. I'm excited to try another one next month!

Weekend date night and family fun

Saturday  night my husband and I went out for a steak dinner! We went to a restaurant that has been around for over 50 years. The ambiance was romantic and old fashion as the restaurant is set up inside an old city house. We had a delicious dinner. Escargots, garlic bread and pickled veggies, steak and a baked potato and a nice bottle of wine.

I took a Pinterest inspired fashion tip by adding a lace slip to my dress to add some length and it worked perfectly.

The Sunday morning we went to Marineland with my brother and his family.

We had so much fun! And the kids loved it!

Kris was shocked at the dolphins ha!

We went on some rides and had a great time at the park.

We even got to see a 10 hour old beluga whale!

On our way home we stopped by the falls for a short walk. Kristian was so excited and loved seeing the falls.
