2 days of poolside bbq's!

Fun weekend! So much love with family and friends. 

Little k couldn't stop talking about all the fun this weekend. Late nights, late mornings, just fun filled weekend! Summertime! 

First was our family bbq. It's always so nice to catch up with family that we don't get to see often. 

The kiddies had an awesome time playing and swimming. 

Little k loves the water! He wants to learn how to swim Soo bad! 

As we left my godfathers home little k ran up to his car saying "I want this car ok mama" haha so do I!!! 

We slept in tonight after a late night out and on to our next bbq party! 

Ohhh and soo many delicious pizzas in a friends pizza oven!!! 

We we're soo stuffed! 

Great food! Great company! A perfect weekend! 

We had some family time this weekend too, fun at the park.

Backyard picnic and end of August recap

Today we all had a rough morning. Tired and cranky. I had a bad mommy moment in the morning that had me feeling terrible all day.

So I decided to make a fun evening for my little guy. 

I picked him up from daycare and we went to get some fast food. We came home, gathered a blanket and toy friends and headed to the backyard for a picnic. Little k loved the idea of having a picnic on the grass :)

This past weekend we had an end of summer BBQ with friends. Well, end of summer end of living here too! 

Friends and family, food and fun. All we need!

The weekend before we went to my inlaws anniversary party. We had a blast! 

And by blast I mean heading to bed at 7am! And with little k up at 9am, you could imagine what I felt like that day ha! 

But, I had to stay awake! The next day was my cousins bridal shower! A 50's theme! I won the best dressed!! Whohoo!

Italian bridal shower... The only way my family knows how to do it... Holy cookies!!

Now that summer is almost over... My focus is now on packing up my house! Wish me luck!

First fathers day

We had a fun BBQ weekend. Saturday night at my brothers house for his mother inlaws 65th birthday and Sunday Fathers day we spent it at my inlaws place for a delicious BBQ lunch and a afternoon of watching soccer. Perfect for my boys.

Beautiful Long weekend!

 Love Long weekends! It's Victoria Long weekend :) and we spent the whole weekend with family and friends.

We had a BBQ on Saturday. The weather was beautiful! Here are us girls chatting away while the men were BBQing.

We even had a mini dance floor going on in the evening.  The BBQ was from 2pm to 3am, now that's fun! However I was pooped!

Sunday husband and I spent the whole day together.  We took a drive up north and came home to our own little BBQ. In the evening my sister, her fiance and my cousins came over to watch the fireworks with us. 

From the front of my house we can see fireworks from a park near by. So we set up camp in the front to watch!

Today we are off and have lots to catch up with. So I will be one busy gal today.

Tomorrow I will blog about my 16 week update. A blogger friend just reminded me of a healthy item I need to add back to my diet so  I'll talk about that tomorrow!

Yogurt for breakfast...

Today we spent the day with family for my grandfathers 76th Birthday. Love my grandparents soooo much!

Eating at my grandparents house is my favorite thing to do ahah!. I love my grandmothers cooking and there is no refusing food allowed ha!
After lunch we went over to my aunts house that lives near by. My Aunt and Uncle gave us backyard tips on gardening. I have lots of ideas now for my backyard project! Now when I will get that started... eek I don't know.

Late this evening we decided to test out our new BBQ!!! I bought some steaks and seasoned them with salt and pepper. I'm looking forward to grilling this week. We bought chicken and fish and I can't wait to try salmon on the bbq!
I had half a steak with corn and avocado salad. Oh but I felt soo guilty having a late dinner :(

So I made sure to quickly pack my salad for lunch with plenty of snacks. Honey dew, almonds and an apple ;)
My doctor also suggested that I have yogurt for breakfast. So I bought yogurt with granola. I will try that this week and see how that goes. So far I am doing great with my salads for lunch and my healthy snacks. My weekends, well haven't got that down yet.
