Week 12 and 3 days!

The Belly is growing!

So I decided to do what all my blogger friends do and track my weekly progress. I think I'll do this Every Monday. (I'm sure it looks familiar, I blog hopped to take the headings hope you don't mind!)

This week!

How Far Along: 12 Weeks 3 days

Size of baby: baby is the size of a peach

Total Weight Gain/Loss: Gained 5 lbs

Maternity Clothes: Some Pants. Some of my other pants still fit but some were already tight to begin with Ha!
So I bought some work pants and Jeans so I can be Comfy! (I love Mat pants by the way)

Gender: Don't know yet!! Can't Wait to find out! Husband has 3 brothers and I have a sister and brother and way more girl cousins. So I'm happy with a healthy Boy or Girl!

Movement: Nothing yet. But I did feel flutters once when laying down.

Sleep: It's tough, I can't get comfy, On my back is the best but I'm trying to sleep on my sides, it's hard. Weird thing... I always use to sleep on my left side, and now hate it!

Cravings: I had weird cravings in week 7, I mean WEIRD. Like re-fried bean sandwich with eggs! LOL BLAHH!
Right now, not much. More food aversions, than cravings.

Symptoms: I had most symptoms week 6-8
- pimples
-Stuffy nose
-Asthma acted up
-thirsty
- Drooling (lol)

Week 11 I had some heartburn when eating anything citrus.

Week 12 - Everything has passed and so far except the thirst and drooling lol. I feel just a little nausea in the afternoon (I think when hungry) and Tired just Tired!

Best Moment so far: Seeing the tiny little guy...or girl lol and getting ultrasound pics. I can't stop looking at them!
I think he/she looks like me! ahah!

What I'm looking forward to? Everything!!! I'm so happy and excited I can't wait to meet our little one!

What I miss: Nothing yet.

Strange changes: I was always one that chose veggies over fruit and now I'm the opposite!

Some new items:

Little booties!! I bought these on Etsy.com. I love them!

I also bought some cream and Oil. I love the oil more. So I will definitely order more of that!

My 12 week Ultrasound

I know! I couldn't believe it either!!! I'm so grateful and thank God everyday for this miracle.

After last years MC and trying since then, there were a lot of days I felt down and felt that maybe it wasn't going to happen anytime soon.... But to our surprise! It did! I found out on Feb 25, 2011 and I screamed and cried!!! ahahah Husband and I were soo excited but also worried. So I decided not to spread the news until 12 weeks. Here we are today! My husband was in the room with me and took videos and pictures! Love him!
I can't stop looking at all the pictures! I keep looking at this little ones face and nose and the video of his/hers arms and legs moving around waving Hi to me :) I'm sooo excited and so far loving every moment of being pregnant! All weird symptoms and all! I'm sooo grateful!

My sister and my future BIL bought me this gift today. I can't wait to set it up in the nursery. So far I put pic1 of the ultrasound in there, now it awaits the newborn pic!

Here I am at 12 weeks :)

Current symptoms, food aversions. I becoming a little picky with my food and only know if I want/or don't want it until it's in my face. haha!

So no weight loss talk for a while here. But lots of preggo and baby talk!

Under the weather...

Look at this weather we've been having, thunderstorms, snow and hail. It's soo cold too! Today I stayed home from work. I'm feeling "under the weather". (this yucky weather!)

Look what I got yesterday! A new cookbook! There are so many delicious recipes in here that I can't wait to try. There are also some that I have done before. My husband's background is Central American (Honduras) so his mom always makes yummy dishes. Eva's book has a mix of Mexican and Texas style recipes from her upbringing. Can't wait to get cooking!

Have you bought any new cookbooks lately?

Spring Decor and Your Opinions

Blogger friends, I need your opinions! My dining room has been the 1 room that has made me crazy since the day I moved in! It's a long room and I always feel like it looks empty. However I'm also not one to over crowd a room.

I'm thinking of adding 2 chairs and a little round table in the window corner and also thinking of getting curtains... This is where I need help.... I'm no fan of curtains, especially with a furry cat that thinks the dining room belongs to her. We also lovee the natural light our house brings in, during the day, not 1 light needs to be on because of all the natural light.

But do you think Curtains here will complete the room more....? Take a look...

Yesterday I was out shopping and I found some spring items for my home, look how cute this vase is, it 50% off too, so I like it even more haha!
And of course I found a HOPE rock. It think it's for the garden ha! But for now it's on my kitchen counter.
Can't wait for your input... Curtains... No curtains...

Do you Loofah?

The weather here has been getting warmer and I'm loving it!! I can't wait to bring out the capri's and sandals. The Sun feels so nice, can't wait to get a little tan too! Come on Summer! Haha!

I blogged about body scrubbing before but I never labeled it, I'll use the same pic anyway.... But ladies if you don't loofah, you should! I use this loofah (I bought this one at Winners, but you can find them in any dept store) I use it every time I shower. Then when I come out of the shower I lather on my favorite cream. I use any firming cream or cocoa butter cream. Trust me your skin will thank you! Your skin will be so soft and It also improves on circulation too. So if you haven't done this before, try it out :) I have a mini one for my face, I only do my face weekly and I love it.

I had an amazing weekend!

We had beautiful weather this weekend! Yesterday I started the day with spring shopping! I bought some clothes to get started, but I'm not done! I'll be out shopping again this week. After shopping, we went to High park for a walk, then to dinner in the Junction to my fave Thai restaurant!
Yum!

Today I had my cousins bridal shower at the Four Seasons DT Toronto. I wore this dress and blazer I got at H&M :)

This was our view from our table! It was cloudy in the early afternoon, but the sun came out and the rest of the day was gorgeous!

Food was delicious there!

The shower was beautiful and we had an amazing time with family and friends.


My sister made these cupcakes with white chocolate heels, how cute are they!

So happy the weekend is almost here!!!

I had such a relaxing few days off. Having cat naps in the afternoon is something that should be mandatory haha! I miss being home. I was back at work Wednesday and boy was I tired! I'm soo glad the weekend is almost here!

And it's getting warmer too!


I'm excited for Spring!! But it also means... Spring Cleaning inside and out. I decided to start this weekend! It's time to make room for the lighter clothing :) . I love to use the seasons to donate to Goodwill too, so hopefully I can gather up a lot.

We also need to clean up the outside too and get the backyard prepared for some new pieces.

I can't wait to see the flowers bloom! Yay Spring!

Tuesday Rambling

I've been off work for a couple days, nothing special just me time. It's been so nice and relaxing. I'm sitting watching TV and blogging while snacking on fruit... Oh boy I could get use to this.

I also decided to throw together veggies and chicken into the slowcooker for some delicious chicken soup. It's smelling soo good! I set it on low for 8 hours so it will be ready for dinner tonight :)
My SIL always send me pics of my goddaughter, she is just too sweet. Yesterday she wiggled off her mat and ended up under the chair. She was stuck and was getting so frustrated hahah! look at her face, poor thing.
I could just squish those cheeks!

This is a pic of me when I was a baby (haha!) I think baby M has my cheeks ;)

A Sunny Friday

At least there is no snow in today's pic. Now all we need is the trees and flowers to bloom and grass to grow and it would be perfect! But the sun is out and we can already feel the energy it brings!

I have a couple days off work and husband can work from home a couple times a week which is great. Today he is working from home so we went for lunch and coffee together...
ok so I didn't choose a healthy choice but some days a donut can't be so wrong, ha!

I've been working on my spring fashion list and boy is it getting long, I may have too many shoes on my list but there are just so many nice shoes out there.

First on my list are coach sneakers. Love these!
and these are on my list from coach too!...
Now I need to hit the malls!

My SIL just sent me this pic of my goddaughter... the cutest little face! Always smiling and laughing. Just made my day!
