A Minnie and Mickey Mouse Birthday!

This weekend was Baby M's big bday bash! My little niece was sooo adorable! I think her first birthday was a great success! 

Above my sister over at http://www.amandascookies4hope.blogspot.com/ made the cupcakes. How cute are they! They are mini mouse cupcakes. too cute!

First we went to a playground where the kids ran wild and so did the adults haha! They had slushies and it was so funny to see the adults get very hyper then crash from the sugar, worse than the kids haha.

Then we we headed to my brothers place for a BBQ.

Mickey Mouse was there! :)

Baby M was a little shocked and wasn't sure how to react haha!

We had a great time. Happy First Birthday Baby M!! We love you!!!!

29 weeks pregnancy update - bare belly

Bare Belly!

This week!

How Far Along: 29 weeks!

Size of baby: 2.9 lbs!

Total Weight Gain/Loss: I really want to stop weighing myself, because we all know it's going up not down haha but today I stepped on... 29lbs for 29weeks yikes! If I gain steady a pound a week, with 11 weeks to go, i'll be up 40lbs. I will not utter the total weight that makes me ahahha.

Maternity Clothes: Still a Mix of Mat and regular clothes

Movement: feeling his hiccups!

Sleep: 3rd trimester brings on the zzzz's, I'm always tired!

Cravings: Choc Chip Cookies! and milk of course!

Symptoms: Moody! Crazy hormones has me snapping and annoyed at everything and anything! LOL

Again, I apologize to friends and family.

What I'm looking forward to? Holding my baby in my arms for hours!

Strange changes: Stretch Marks on my booty and hips. And peeing a little if I laugh too hard (tmi) LOL

Some new items:
Breast Feeding Book :) I'm learning soo much and also learning about all the myths out there too. Glad I'm reading up on this, I feel really excited to BreastFeed (never thought I'd ever say that out loud haha)

I'm 1 YO!

I Finally decided on nursery decor!

So I finally decided on nursery decor! Maybe it's the hormones but I just could not decide on the decor I wanted. I had lots of ideas and thought  I knew what I wanted but it all made me crazy and I even cried when I would visualize it. So today, with the help of my sister and husband I finally decided on what I will be going with! I pictured the decor in both spare rooms (just in case I change my mind on which room his nursery will be in) And I can visualize the decor in both rooms perfectly!

An Amazing birthday mini-getaway

 Friday I turned 30! and I gotta say, I had a great 30th bday weekend.

 We went away for 2 nights about an hour and half north to Blue Mountain Resort.
We stayed at the Mosaic hotel. It was soo nice. The room had a pool view and a cute kitchenette.

We didn't cook there at all (we love trying new restaurants) but I did use the fridge for water and my daily dose of milk :)

We enjoyed live bands, romantic dinners and just pure relaxation.
We also  drove through the scenic hill to enjoy the view and also found a place to park in front of the Lake.
It was sooo nice! Here are some pics!

We saw many families and couples with new babies enjoying there time there. We will definitely bring baby K there next summer! :)Once we got home Sunday we went to the in laws and SURPRISE! the whole family was there and my sister and her fiance too with lots of food and yummy cake!




I'm so grateful for everyone in my life. I'm really excited for the future :)

A little about my 20's. Hello 30's!

So I wanted to write all about my 20’s and add all the pictures too, but there is wayyy too much to write and I would need sooo much time to gather all the pics aha!  So here is a little about my 20’s.


Sooo In my 20's

Loved driving our GT mustang!

I Went to Cuba 3 times, took some road trips: North/South Carolina, New Haven, Montreal and Quebec city. Went to Punta Cana twice, Went to Bahamas, San Diego, Jamaica and San Francisco.


Graduated College with a Business diploma.

Lost loved ones, Dad, Grandpa, and a sweet Aunt, and had a MC :(



Got engaged in Cuba

Bought a house in the city (a fixer upper)


Got married

 
Got our first furbaby together



Started my Blog!!!

Sold the house in the city and bought our current house just north of the city.



Became a SIL, an Aunt and a Godmother!

Gone through many ups and downs and it always made me stronger and smarter haha!!

Met amazing people and had amazing parties with family and friends!



Now Pregnant with our first baby Boy :) and going to begin my 30's with being a mom....

I’m looking forward to my 30’s… more travelling, more adventures, more parties … being a parent and always always being focused on growing towards a dream!

Size of baby: 2 and a quarter pounds!

We stopped doing bday gifts for adults on my side, we decided to buy things only for the kids. So my sister bought me these cd's for baby K for my bday :) so cute. Can't wait to listen to them! (don't worry I won't blast them in the car haha!)

Lot's of bday's in the summer. My brother, Me, My mom, Niece, BIL, Sister! Tomorrow is mine and my moms bday and Tuesday is baby M's 1st bday! So I bought her this cute chair with a stool for her bedroom! What do you think!?

I'm totally eying this one for baby K's nursery!

Since I'm turning.... 30!!! tomorrow, I decided that I need to make sure my vision board gets re-done. At Winners they have these cool vision boards, so I'll be buying one for myself today.

Today is the last day of my 20's.... Tomorrow I'll blog all about my 20's haha :)

Foods For The Third Trimester

Today's BF - multigrain toast with cream cheese, half milk half coffee and cookies

Sooo cookies are not on the list for 3rd Trimester foods haha! But they do make for yummy snacks or side dishes ha!

 I always check out my book to see what foods are best per trimester (I love this book by the way)
It lists lots of foods and why they are good for mom and baby.  There are many things in here that I don't like though, So I just pick out the ones I like :)

There are only 5 things on this list that I will add to my grocery list,

Black beans/Salmon/Eggs/Nuts/and Swiss Cheese.

It talks about taking fish oil pills and I read a lot of mom blogs (and twitter moms) that took supplements, but when I asked my doctor she said not to. So I will try and add more fish to my diet this last trimester..... Try....

Any foods or meal recommendations? Send them my way. First Trimester food aversions are back, and I don't think a diet of only bread, cookies, nutella and milk will be good enough for baby K  :)
