30 weeks pregnant photo and update

This week!
How Far Along: 30 weeks! (70days to go!)
Size of baby: 3.3 lbs!
Movement: much more movement this week :)
Cravings: Chocolate chocolate Chocolate!
Symptoms: Yesterday I had the worst case of heartburn or indigestion whatever
it was, had me screaming in pain! It was between my ribs and was that fire pain
UGH! It was gone within and hour thank goodness!

This weekend we will finally get the nursery! I can't wait! The decals came in
yesterday too and I can't wait to start decorating!

I already made room for where I will place the packnplay and swing.
I'm one of those people that hate filling a room full of furniture.
So I get pretty antsy visualizing where all the extra baby things will go.
I like my space and I will throw away furniture if it's in my way haha!

So I decided to put the packnplay in my long dining room ahahh. Finally see a reason
for it's length haha! There's a perfect corner for it that is kinda out of sight. I can move it to the living room when needed too but for the most part, it's home will be there!




 I moved this sad looking plant to the opposite of the room, still debating on what I'll do with it. I always forget to water it.

The Swing will be in our living room.

And all extras will take over the husbands basement poker room :) sorry hunny, you and baby K can share that room with your toys haha!

The nesting stage is making me a little crazy but once I visualize where things will
go, I feel calm and ready lol. I'm also ready for it all to change anyway once
Baby K is here too ;)

Cute Baby Boy Clothes

After I did all the laundry for baby K I counted all the outfits too. I noticed that I have lots of 3 month clothes and only 1 NB outfit and no 3-6 month clothes. So I decided now that every time I go out I must buy a couple outfits for him :)

I'm not sure how many NB clothes he will need? (moms?) And does 0-3 mean it will fit him as NB too?

I know it will depend on his size. But I do want to be prepared! :)

Babbling Wednesday - What's your makeup routine

Today I decided to blog a little about everything :)

Yesterday I tackled the baby clothes pile :) Getting all the baby clothes and blankies all washed up! I even counted all outfits so I know what else I need. The little outfits are too cute!

So as you see my picture above.... that's my makeup routine haha! Give or take depending on the day.

So my routine:
Nivea Q10 day cream
Maybelline  (Instant Age Rewind foundation) (I only dab a bit on cheeks)
Loreal visible lift concealer (I appeal to under eyes and eyelids)
Physicians formula loose powder (full face)
Physicians formula Bronzer (cheeks and nose :)
Eyelash curler (a must!)
Eyeshadow  (day to day I wear a champagne color)
Black eyeliner (thin or thick, again depending on the day)
Mascara

For lipstick I use Lise Waiter matte neutral color or Lise Waiter gloss. But most the time I don't have anything on my lips. 

Seems like a lot, but it really isn't.  It only takes me about 5 mins to apply it all. I've been doing this same routine for years! Can't even remember when I started haha!

In the evenings I remove makeup with baby oil and apply Nivea Q10 night cream.

I Finally decided on nursery decor!

So I finally decided on nursery decor! Maybe it's the hormones but I just could not decide on the decor I wanted. I had lots of ideas and thought  I knew what I wanted but it all made me crazy and I even cried when I would visualize it. So today, with the help of my sister and husband I finally decided on what I will be going with! I pictured the decor in both spare rooms (just in case I change my mind on which room his nursery will be in) And I can visualize the decor in both rooms perfectly!

28 weeks pregnant update

H&M Maternity Tights, Regular Medium top (whoop!)and new flats from Winners.

This week!
How Far Along: 28 Weeks!
Size of baby: 2 and a quarter pounds!
Total Weight Gain/Loss: not weighing myself this week :)
Maternity Clothes: Mixture of mat and regular clothes
Symptoms: I'm really feeling my weight now, on my poor feet.
What I'm looking forward to? Buying the crib set!

We stopped doing bday gifts for adults on my side, we decided to buy things only for the kids. So my sister bought me these cd's for baby K for my bday :) so cute. Can't wait to listen to them! (don't worry I won't blast them in the car haha!)

Lot's of bday's in the summer. My brother, Me, My mom, Niece, BIL, Sister! Tomorrow is mine and my moms bday and Tuesday is baby M's 1st bday! So I bought her this cute chair with a stool for her bedroom! What do you think!?

I'm totally eying this one for baby K's nursery!

Since I'm turning.... 30!!! tomorrow, I decided that I need to make sure my vision board gets re-done. At Winners they have these cool vision boards, so I'll be buying one for myself today.

Today is the last day of my 20's.... Tomorrow I'll blog all about my 20's haha :)

Fun Summer Weekend

Friday night we went down to the city to my favorite Thai restaurant. We had a delicious meal, our usual, chicken and shrimp pad thai and red coconut curry shrimp and pineapple. Yum!

Dress from Target last year (not maternity) still fits but needed to wear a shirt underneath for my oversized... you know :)  

After dinner we went to a park to walk around. It was very peaceful and nice, just walking and talking.  My favorite thing to do with the husband.

After walking through the zoo area of the park we noticed that the play in the park was still going on, so we went over and took a seat to watch.

 No pictures allowed during the play, but husband snapped one!

 It was a beautiful evening and mosquito's loved me that night haha!

We got home pretty late and had a busy Saturday so yesterday I was pretty tired but didn't stop me from enjoying my Saturday.

We had lunch on a patio and shopped a bit before heading to a family bbq.

Look at this cute track suit I bought for baby K at Winners. Love it!  Husband said it was a must buy, don't need to twist my arm when it comes to shopping for baby hahhah!

At the family bbq my nieces loved being in the pool. Look at baby M, adorable! The best part is when her mom was saying "ready" to dunk her head in the water and her eyes and faced scrunched up getting ready to go under. sooo cute!!!



I can't believe she is turning 1 yo in 9 days!




Today is a very humid day, so we decided to stay in most the day.

26 week pregnancy Glucose test

Ha! I don't look so thrilled huh. Yesterday was my glucose test. I had to fast for this test so imagine a hungry tired preggo having to spend her morning at a lab was not fun at all. I wasn't sure what to expect with this test so my husband came with me just in case!

The lab techs were to first take my blood before I drank the glucose (orange pop thing) But they didn't, they just gave me the pop to drink within 5 minutes, only after I drank it did they realize they should have taken my blood before as well. So now I will need to go back for that one. After I drank the orange pop, I had to sit there for 1 hour, then they took blood.  They are checking to see how my body processes sugar. Glad part of the test is over with. Wasn't too bad.

Last week I ordered some things on Etsy and look what came in the mail yesterday! Hopefully baby K will like wearing hats because he has so many already ha!

Yesterday evening Zoe was at the backyard door pacing around and meowing. I went to look and saw a family of raccoons in our backyard! yikes! They were going in and out of the garden, hope they don't live there... but they are kinda cute tho haha!

26 weeks pregnant today!

 This week!
How Far Along: 26 weeks! Ummm 98 days to go!
Size of baby: 1.9lbs size of an eggplant!
Total Weight Gain/Loss: 23lbs

Movement: A lot more! and seems he is most active at midnight! ha!
Cravings: Still I'm obsessed with my nutella and milk daily snacks,
but food aversions seemed to have come back too. So this will be interesting.
Ice cream is still on my good list tho, ha!

Symptoms: Headaches! Lower pressure, my walk ain't that cool. Look out for waddling mama!
Best Moment so far: Husband feeling the 5am strong kicks!


Some new items:

My mom bought all these clothes and blankies for baby K!

I have a lot of laundry coming my way ha! The basket is full and ready for washing.

**Mom Question: I'll be using Ivory snow to wash the clothes... Do you put fabric softener?, and also do you put their clothes in the dryer? With or without a bounce sheet....?

25 Weeks Pregnant today! 15 weeks to go!

This week!
How Far Along: 25 weeks!
Size of baby: 1.7lbs!
Total Weight Gain/Loss: 22lbs gain
Movement: I feel him kicking and punching throughout the day. Feels like he's tap dancing haha!
Sleep: Some days great, some days I just toss and turn. boo! I'm feeling much more tired these days too. Third Trimester is creeping up.
Cravings: Nutella and Salad haha! Not together!
What I'm looking forward to? Getting the nursery! I can't wait!
What I miss: Nothing!

I started separating the baby clothes/blankets and stuffed animals for laundry.  My husband and I were looking at all the cute little onesies and gowns in the basket, soooo cute! We are soooo excited!

 I also have my diaper stash ready! My mom has been buying me diapers since the first day I got pregnant! I told her to cool it, I think I have enough for a little while haha! 3 packs of newborn and 4 packs of 1-2.

 Yesterday was sooooo hot here! I went out for 5 mins and the air was soo humid blahh! So I stayed in the whole day!

At 4pm it was 37, but felt like 49! 49!!!!!!!! Gross! I love summer, but not that kinda summer!
