Blog post - Beautiful week, shopping and playdate

Today was such a beautiful day!

So was yesterday! Yesterday my nieces came over for a visit. My 18 month old niece was having so much fun dancing and singing, she has the most adorable personality. She was copying everything I was doing, and she just loves her baby cousin.

The sun was shining so bright today, I love that spring came early! Today baby and I went out for a walk and went out to shop a little too.

While out shopping today at homesense I saw 2 chairs that I like, I have the perfect spot in my bedroom for one. Hmm!

I love homesense. Today I bought 2 new pots!

Yesterday I tried putting baby boy in the seat attachment of the stroller, see the pic below. He is wayy too small for it still. Although this seat can recline so he could be in it very comfortably if I use it.

A beautiful Sunday

 Sunday we had amazing weather!! And this week it will continue!

We went to the zoo in the park for a walk.

Baby K loved seeing the animals. He was concentrating on all the different sounds and scenery.




Spring is here! I'm excited to spend more days outdoors!

After Saturday night, being out 9 hours without nursing, I was in sooo much pain!! I had to pump many times during the day and finally I leveled it out. Yikes! I can't do that again. Not when I'm use to nursing every 2-3 hours!

Last night baby K slept soo well! I was sooo happy because I needed it! I didn't end up sleeping till 5am from the party the day before!

He slept a 4.5 hour stretch then 3, then another 3! happy mama!

Beautiful Long weekend!

 Love Long weekends! It's Victoria Long weekend :) and we spent the whole weekend with family and friends.

We had a BBQ on Saturday. The weather was beautiful! Here are us girls chatting away while the men were BBQing.

We even had a mini dance floor going on in the evening.  The BBQ was from 2pm to 3am, now that's fun! However I was pooped!

Sunday husband and I spent the whole day together.  We took a drive up north and came home to our own little BBQ. In the evening my sister, her fiance and my cousins came over to watch the fireworks with us. 

From the front of my house we can see fireworks from a park near by. So we set up camp in the front to watch!

Today we are off and have lots to catch up with. So I will be one busy gal today.

Tomorrow I will blog about my 16 week update. A blogger friend just reminded me of a healthy item I need to add back to my diet so  I'll talk about that tomorrow!

Under the weather...

Look at this weather we've been having, thunderstorms, snow and hail. It's soo cold too! Today I stayed home from work. I'm feeling "under the weather". (this yucky weather!)

Look what I got yesterday! A new cookbook! There are so many delicious recipes in here that I can't wait to try. There are also some that I have done before. My husband's background is Central American (Honduras) so his mom always makes yummy dishes. Eva's book has a mix of Mexican and Texas style recipes from her upbringing. Can't wait to get cooking!

Do you Loofah?

The weather here has been getting warmer and I'm loving it!! I can't wait to bring out the capri's and sandals. The Sun feels so nice, can't wait to get a little tan too! Come on Summer! Haha!

I blogged about body scrubbing before but I never labeled it, I'll use the same pic anyway.... But ladies if you don't loofah, you should! I use this loofah (I bought this one at Winners, but you can find them in any dept store) I use it every time I shower. Then when I come out of the shower I lather on my favorite cream. I use any firming cream or cocoa butter cream. Trust me your skin will thank you! Your skin will be so soft and It also improves on circulation too. So if you haven't done this before, try it out :) I have a mini one for my face, I only do my face weekly and I love it.

I had an amazing weekend!

We had beautiful weather this weekend! Yesterday I started the day with spring shopping! I bought some clothes to get started, but I'm not done! I'll be out shopping again this week. After shopping, we went to High park for a walk, then to dinner in the Junction to my fave Thai restaurant!
Yum!

Today I had my cousins bridal shower at the Four Seasons DT Toronto. I wore this dress and blazer I got at H&M :)

This was our view from our table! It was cloudy in the early afternoon, but the sun came out and the rest of the day was gorgeous!

Food was delicious there!

The shower was beautiful and we had an amazing time with family and friends.


My sister made these cupcakes with white chocolate heels, how cute are they!

So happy the weekend is almost here!!!

I had such a relaxing few days off. Having cat naps in the afternoon is something that should be mandatory haha! I miss being home. I was back at work Wednesday and boy was I tired! I'm soo glad the weekend is almost here!

And it's getting warmer too!


I'm excited for Spring!! But it also means... Spring Cleaning inside and out. I decided to start this weekend! It's time to make room for the lighter clothing :) . I love to use the seasons to donate to Goodwill too, so hopefully I can gather up a lot.

We also need to clean up the outside too and get the backyard prepared for some new pieces.

I can't wait to see the flowers bloom! Yay Spring!

Spring Cleaning Weekend

Yesterday was the first day of Spring! (It was a chilly gloomy day) BUT better days are ahead!

Ever since my meltdown last week I have been sticking to my schedule and found much more time for mee! Yesterday we were able to do Spring Cleaning in the house and have a whole afternoon out on the town, AND get some work (side business) in as well! :)
We went for a walk on lake shore. It was so nice.

Before we decided to move to suburbs we were actually considering moving to one of these condos. It is so nice down there. The energy you get from the people, the water, nature. It's unexplainable.

Ever since husband and I were younger we always believed in writing down goals and having a vision board. Even before we saw the movie the secret. We would drive around talking and expressing what we wanted for our future. Many many things we have achieved has been written on our vision board/Goals board in the past. Yesterday was one of those afternoons, driving around and talking about our new future goals. So last night we decided to buy a large cork board and re-write our goals and post matching pictures to express them.

And what's a day out without my fav food. SUSHI!!!!!
(however, my tummy was feeling off due to Friday nights outing, so I actually was not able to eat much yesterday, I guess that was a good thing... calorie wise ahah!)
