A little Spring Cleaning

I've been a little MIA lately. Just a lot going on these days. I have a lot if things I wanted to blog about but just haven't had the motivation to do it!

Little K is teething and the past 2 days he has been irritable during the day. Today he seems a lot better, fingers crossed! I give Camilla teething drops when he is fussy. And Tylenol as well. Teething is no fun!

I've been starting to do a little spring cleaning too. My spring list of wants is pretty long! Eek! Sunglasses, shoes, spring clothes, purses, house items, backyard items and baby backyard toys too haha

I'm also starting a new workout schedule and hope to shed these unwanted pounds!

Cleaning out the house and cleaning out the body! My march spring cleaning.

Have you started spring cleaning yet?
What's on your list of wants for spring?

Toddler, teething, menu and fun

Little K always got his teeth 2-3 at a time never just 1 at a time. He has 7 front teeth (4 top 3 bottom) and 2 top molars on their way in from what I can see!

Last night I put him to bed at 8 and at midnight he was up. Drowsy and fussy for an hour before falling back asleep. Teething is not fun. We have a long way to go still!

Little K is a great eater and loves pretty much everything. Except milk, he doesn't drink milk at all and the doctor is 100% ok with that. But suggested sneaking in other fats. So I'm adding more fat to his diet a lot more avocados to his meals and butter to toast and today cream in his scrambled eggs, which he loved today.

This little boy is busy these days having fun and giving me a workout! Ha!

Not even a week and exhausted

I heard other mothers tell me that the first week back to work is the hardest, and oh they are sooo right.

We have been doing well with timing after work and before. Getting out the door is fine! Coming home making dinner is ok too, although with a hungry baby I need more ready made things to feed him quick!

There are a couple things happening the past couple nights.

Mr cranky teething baby with his new Whiney cry ;( it's hard seeing my sweet baby so cranky.

He has been falling asleep at 8pm sharp with no hassle. But has been waking up many times at night and last night was the worst!! He was up every 1-2 hour screaming!!! And nothing helped, Tylenol, nursing, nothing!

I'm not sure how I even made it out the door.

Being a SAHM is tough too, no breaks it's a 24 hour job I know this! Now Being a working mom is just as hard. It comes with some other things. The guilt of spending less time with your little one, and when they are cranky makes it worse!! Having to go into work on 2 hours sleep is crazy too!

I see other families doing fine with their routines... Are they? Or they don't talk about it or complain like I do haha. I know with time we will get it too... Right... Right!?

It hasn't even been a week and it's getting hard to see how we will make this all work out.

This mama is tired!!!!

Love my baby boy and he just melts my heart with his smile. I want to see more smiles! Less cries! haha he only has 6 teeth so we have a long way to go.

Sad Teething Baby around here

Last night was rough around here. Kristian was waking up crying and screaming with his hands in his mouth and tugging his ear every 1-2 hours.
Daddy was helping too but nothing helped. I gave some Tylenol and pretty much nursed all night long. Mama is exhausted!

He has been ok during the day, a little cranky. I'm trying to distract him. I found his Baltic Amber anklet and put it on him. Hope it helps!

It's heart breaking when they are in pain.

How do you soothe your teething baby ?

Second tooth and standing up!

Kristian's second tooth is out!

He loves to do things on his own. Like feed himself baby cookies.

I'm starting up a new menu for him. Adding more of chunkier foods and foods he can pick up and feed himself.

He is growing up sooo quickly!

He calls me mama! And when he wants to nurse he says mummummum haha so cute!

He will clap when you say clap and he is starting to lift himself up!

He wasn't fastened in his highchair last night and he stood up! Yikes!!!

Today we have his 9 month doctor check up. I'll post on that tomorrow!
