Crazy about my baby boy

This week my baby boy turns 5 months. The days are really flying.

At 5 months this little one doesn't have the greatest sleep schedule yet. Somedays he will do 5-6 hour stretches, eat and go on for another 3-4. Other nights like last night he is up every 1-2 hours to nurse. I can't really put my finger on what the difference is in the nights he sleeps well vs the nights he doesn't.

Yesterday he started eating more of the rice cereal. He ate almost half his bowl! (I was thinking that maybe this made him wake so often at night, not sure)

I'm looking forward to getting on to fruits and veggies. Hopefully in the next couple weeks!

We had a fun weekend visiting family. Kris loves to involved and always wants to be part of the conversations and fun. He even loved sitting with his cousin watching Mickey mouse in my iPhone.

I may not have much time to blog this week. This week will be busy for us. My sister's wedding is coming up! We are so excited and all ready!

I tried on my dress twice already this weekend and just walked around in it haha!

We just bought baby k's booties this weekend to go with his suit! He looks so cute in his suit.

Fun Girls Night Out!

Saturday night was my lovely sisters Stagette party with the girls!

We we went for a sushi dinner then to a lounge to have some fun!

It was an interesting evening, haha! I won't go into too much detail but the lounge was... different . But with all us girls together it was soo fun!

We even ordered cupcakes!

My Sister's Bridal Shower!

 Sunday was my beautiful sister's bridal shower! It was soo pretty! She had a purple theme and the whole set up looked beautiful... The pictures say it all!

Kristian was sooo good! I think he was confused with seeing soo many people haha he slept a lot that afternoon too. He met many members of my family for the first time too.

My sweet baby, he is excited for his aunt's wedding!

The wedding is in 2 months!!!!!!! This weekend we go for our dress fittings! I can't wait!

Wedding Fun!

 Yesterday all the bridesmaid and myself ( The MOH) went to get our measurements done for my sisters wedding in March! It was funny when all the girls complained equally about their measurements. It was tough when it came to mine, since baby K is taking up all my tummy :) So we measured bust and hips and took a guess. The dress I ordered will have a waist size of 32 1/2 So I will have 3 months to get it down to that or less! Fingers crossed for me mama's! Hips were and always have been my issue. But these dresses flow nicely from the waist down so I think it will be ok.... I hope haha!

My niece was sooooo excited! She had to try on a dress. She was so happy to be doing things with the girls. She's growing up soo fast!

And the Bride's dress was in tooo!!! It was a surprise to the bride! She tried it on and it fit perfectly! It was sooo pretty! All the bridesmaids were soo excited to see it too.

The weekend is here yay! I'm loving this fall weather. This weekend will be beautiful here too. Hope you all have a great fall weekend!

Weekend of Baby and Wedding stuff and dreaming big!

Husband went away on the weekend, so while he was out golfing his day away I spent all day Saturday with my sister.

We started at out favorite Breakfast Place DT (in the Junction) called Purple Onion. I love being down in that area. After BF we walked around and went to some shops. One place had a cat in the shop and the little guy must have smelled Zoe because he was all around me haha!

I can't even remember the number of stores we went to, we didn't hold back and went in soo many stores. I bought a dress, makeup and some house stuff and some baby items.

Being silly, however look at those wrinkles ha! not so funny!

How cute are all these baby clothes! Baby K will love them. My sister bought baby K the gowns and the little shoes, too cute!


We also went to a whole bunch of wedding stores for sister. She found shoes she loves to go with her wedding dress, but they didn't have her size :(  We also found jewelery that will go well with her dress too. Yay!


We even made time to make cakepops! They didn't turn out as nice but they tasted great! Yum!


We ended our crazy day relaxing and watching How to lose a guy in 10 days, we love that movie!

Today I'm feeling a little tired and maybe in combination with preg hormones I'm feeling blah! I haven't been paying attention to my goals lately and I want to be sure I don't lose sight of them. So today I'll work on my vision board and be sure to still work towards the things I was working towards before. It's easy to get caught up in the day to day, and with new baby on the way and thinking like an "adult" really does put limits.  I don't like it, and I don't need to follow what I don't like (ha!) I can balance this so working on my vision board always puts things in perspective.
