31 weeks pregnant photos! And my update.

This week!
How Far Along: 31 Weeks!
Size of baby: Almost 4lbs!
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Yaaa I think I won't share that anymore, I really don't want to bother stepping on that scale haha!

Maternity Clothes: Still fitting this belly and bum into regular and mat clothes.  Can't wait for Fall! I have a long shopping list! As well as shoe shopping. I'm up a whole shoe size!
Movement: Baby moves a lot when I listen to Adele! He has good taste.
Sleep: This week was tough! Spine hurts! I guess belly is pretty heavy, so getting comfy is awkward.
Symptoms: Swelling :( I'm beginning to get the puffy hands and feet. boo!



Wednesday I went to drop off my pre-admission papers at the hospital! EEE! 9 weeks to go! I'm soo excited, a little nervous but wayyy more excited! I feel like time is going to go even faster now and I have soo much to still prepare for our little guy!

 Some new items I picked up this week:
Onesies and I saw this piggy bank at Winners so picked it up instead of ordering online. 



Next week I'm going for an ultrasound to see our little guy. I can't wait!

The best part of being pregnant is

EATING!!!!

 The best part of my days are Breakfast, Lunch, dinner and Snacks ahahahh! My food aversions have been off and on throughout my whole pregnancy, but this week I've had nooo problem!

This weeks obsession. Dad's chewy cookies. These are delicious! I love milk, but I can only drink milk combined with a sweet snack. It's been that way for me since I was a kid. Do you do the same thing?

The other night I made sure to fill up on lots of greens too.  I made my favorite dish, Thai Coconut Red Curry Shrimp, I added lots of fresh broccoli and Kale! With a side of rice and Avocado. Yum!

Yesterday I went to visit my friend and her little man. He is growing so fast!!! Soo adorable! We walked over to a nearby Wing place.

 

 We ordered wings and fries! I was in heaven! MMM MMM

I think it will be tough getting back on track after baby is born... it's been nice not counting calories while preggo.

Weekend recap, nursery and OB appointment.

Friday night was my sisters Champagne Birthday! We all went to a nice dinner DT and I gotta say, I had the most delicious appetizers and steak dish that night hhaha heaven!

My mom was babysitting my nieces so when I got there I spent sometime playing with little M. My mommy skills are not to sharp yet... I gave her, her sippy cup with water and didn't turn the lid tight enough... Baby M poured it all over herself and in the playyard... haha. I now know for next time.
I also fed her, her favorite yogurt... I did ok on that, whew!

Saturday we finally purchased the nursery set! I was a little sad that it won't be delivered until the first week of October.  But it's ok, Baby K's due date is Nov 4.

I went with this set below. Crib and Hutch. I also got a night table and the glider chair in beige :)


We also bought all the extras for his room too! Curtains for the bay type window in his room, shelves for the closet, and a new light fixture too.
It's all coming together!

Sunday we had a relaxing day with family. My husband has 3 brothers and I have a brother and sister... Baby K has lots of Aunts and Uncles (Tio's, Tia's and Zio's and Zia's) that are all anxiously waiting his arrival! Both sides of our families love Soccer... So baby K will surely be confused with ALL the teams he will be cheering for ahahha! Mommy is Italian, and Husband is Honduran... Husband cheers for many different teams, like Brazil and Spain and many others... except Italy ahhah! I don't think my grandpa would be impressed.

This morning I went to my OB.  She said that the baby sounded busy! His heart rate was 141bpm and she heard him kick like crazy. My placenta is placed in the front so it acts like a big cushion to many of the kicks, that is why some days I hardly feel kicks and other times I do a lot, just depends on where he is kicking. She felt around and said his head is down, she measured the belly and said it's growing perfectly!

She also suggested I take prenatal classes. I wasn't going to, but she has been telling me to since the beginning.. maybe I should?

This week I will be dropping off the paper work to the hospital where I will deliver. Time is flying!!! 10 weeks to go!!!!!!!

30 weeks pregnant photo and update

This week!
How Far Along: 30 weeks! (70days to go!)
Size of baby: 3.3 lbs!
Movement: much more movement this week :)
Cravings: Chocolate chocolate Chocolate!
Symptoms: Yesterday I had the worst case of heartburn or indigestion whatever
it was, had me screaming in pain! It was between my ribs and was that fire pain
UGH! It was gone within and hour thank goodness!

This weekend we will finally get the nursery! I can't wait! The decals came in
yesterday too and I can't wait to start decorating!

I already made room for where I will place the packnplay and swing.
I'm one of those people that hate filling a room full of furniture.
So I get pretty antsy visualizing where all the extra baby things will go.
I like my space and I will throw away furniture if it's in my way haha!

So I decided to put the packnplay in my long dining room ahahh. Finally see a reason
for it's length haha! There's a perfect corner for it that is kinda out of sight. I can move it to the living room when needed too but for the most part, it's home will be there!




 I moved this sad looking plant to the opposite of the room, still debating on what I'll do with it. I always forget to water it.

The Swing will be in our living room.

And all extras will take over the husbands basement poker room :) sorry hunny, you and baby K can share that room with your toys haha!

The nesting stage is making me a little crazy but once I visualize where things will
go, I feel calm and ready lol. I'm also ready for it all to change anyway once
Baby K is here too ;)

Cute Baby Boy Clothes

After I did all the laundry for baby K I counted all the outfits too. I noticed that I have lots of 3 month clothes and only 1 NB outfit and no 3-6 month clothes. So I decided now that every time I go out I must buy a couple outfits for him :)

I'm not sure how many NB clothes he will need? (moms?) And does 0-3 mean it will fit him as NB too?

I know it will depend on his size. But I do want to be prepared! :)

Babbling Wednesday - What's your makeup routine

Today I decided to blog a little about everything :)

Yesterday I tackled the baby clothes pile :) Getting all the baby clothes and blankies all washed up! I even counted all outfits so I know what else I need. The little outfits are too cute!

So as you see my picture above.... that's my makeup routine haha! Give or take depending on the day.

So my routine:
Nivea Q10 day cream
Maybelline  (Instant Age Rewind foundation) (I only dab a bit on cheeks)
Loreal visible lift concealer (I appeal to under eyes and eyelids)
Physicians formula loose powder (full face)
Physicians formula Bronzer (cheeks and nose :)
Eyelash curler (a must!)
Eyeshadow  (day to day I wear a champagne color)
Black eyeliner (thin or thick, again depending on the day)
Mascara

For lipstick I use Lise Waiter matte neutral color or Lise Waiter gloss. But most the time I don't have anything on my lips. 

Seems like a lot, but it really isn't.  It only takes me about 5 mins to apply it all. I've been doing this same routine for years! Can't even remember when I started haha!

In the evenings I remove makeup with baby oil and apply Nivea Q10 night cream.

A Minnie and Mickey Mouse Birthday!

This weekend was Baby M's big bday bash! My little niece was sooo adorable! I think her first birthday was a great success! 

Above my sister over at http://www.amandascookies4hope.blogspot.com/ made the cupcakes. How cute are they! They are mini mouse cupcakes. too cute!

First we went to a playground where the kids ran wild and so did the adults haha! They had slushies and it was so funny to see the adults get very hyper then crash from the sugar, worse than the kids haha.

Then we we headed to my brothers place for a BBQ.

Mickey Mouse was there! :)

Baby M was a little shocked and wasn't sure how to react haha!

We had a great time. Happy First Birthday Baby M!! We love you!!!!

29 weeks pregnancy update - bare belly

Bare Belly!

This week!

How Far Along: 29 weeks!

Size of baby: 2.9 lbs!

Total Weight Gain/Loss: I really want to stop weighing myself, because we all know it's going up not down haha but today I stepped on... 29lbs for 29weeks yikes! If I gain steady a pound a week, with 11 weeks to go, i'll be up 40lbs. I will not utter the total weight that makes me ahahha.

Maternity Clothes: Still a Mix of Mat and regular clothes

Movement: feeling his hiccups!

Sleep: 3rd trimester brings on the zzzz's, I'm always tired!

Cravings: Choc Chip Cookies! and milk of course!

Symptoms: Moody! Crazy hormones has me snapping and annoyed at everything and anything! LOL

Again, I apologize to friends and family.

What I'm looking forward to? Holding my baby in my arms for hours!

Strange changes: Stretch Marks on my booty and hips. And peeing a little if I laugh too hard (tmi) LOL

Some new items:
Breast Feeding Book :) I'm learning soo much and also learning about all the myths out there too. Glad I'm reading up on this, I feel really excited to BreastFeed (never thought I'd ever say that out loud haha)
