Halloween and 2 year doctor checkup

Halloween was so much fun this year. The kids loved trick or treating and my street was full of haunted houses!

Kristian had so much fun going door to door.

Yesterday we had his 2 year check up. Doc was happy to see K and said he looks great. I asked a lot of questions when it comes to food and play and potty training and his answers left me comfortable and sure of all that I am doing for my little boy.

He gave the doctor a high five when we left and was happy to leave haha no needles at this appt so all was good!

Today is kristians party! So we are running around picking up the cake and decor!

And my cupcake cones are coming along!

Baby boy is 2!

Little K is 2!!!!

Yesterday we had family over for cake and to celebrate our sweet little boy's birthday!

Really 2! 2 years flew by!

At 2 years old little K weighs 23lbs and we just started size 5 diapers and soon will begin potty training!

He still loves his fruits and veggies but recently chocolate has made its way in to the list of fave foods ha!

He is my husbands mini man. He wants to copy and be just like dad! It's soo cute.

He amazes me everyday!

His vocabulary is exploding and he repeats everything... Everything! We say.

Yesterday was party 1 of 2 for this crazy little boy.

Cake was yummy!

Fun with family
They traded boots. Ha!

Lots of toys!

Cars cars cars and planes!

This weekend will be the kids Elmo party. Can't wait!

Fall weekend and pumpkin painting.

My husband had some work to do on our house this weekend before the real cold weather comes. We still had a fun fall weekend.

Breakfast at our new favorite place around the corner. They make the best pancakes! Which of course little K didn't care for but he loved the eggs and bacon.

Saturday night my husband brought us to a Chinese restaurant downtown that he loves.
Yummy! And we had fun walking through the rain that evening too!

My aunt gave us a little pumpkin that needed to be painted. So yesterday we headed to Michaels to buy some paint and brushes and we had so much fun painting it!

PuKins!! As little k says it haha. Wish we had more to paint. It was really fun painting this little pumpkin.

Friday with family.

Yesterday marked 11 years since my dad passed away.

My sister and I went to the cemetery before heading to my moms for a family dinner.

Kristian recognizes where we go now and who we are seeing. It's so sweet.

This picture melts my heart.

Once we got to my moms. We ordered dinner and all talked and watched the kids play. Exactly how my dad would of wanted us spending this day ;)

Last day of daycare

Baby k had his last day of daycare with the current home daycare he was in and will be with a new one soon. Both ladies are very good. I'm really happy with the choice of a home daycare. It fits our needs a little more than the larger daycare facility he was in before.

I felt sad when we said bye to his little friends! He'll miss them and they'll miss him!

He brought home all his artwork. I already have them hanging up around the house.

It was another beautiful fall day today ;) and his pumpkin art reminded me that I need to buy pumpkins soon!!

Thanksgiving weekend

So much to be thankful for this thanksgiving. Our thanksgiving weekend was surrounded by family. A perfect way to show how thankful we are for everyone in our lives.

We started the weekend at the fall fair.

The kids had a blast playing with the animals and going on the rides!

On Sunday on the way to my grandparents house for thanksgiving we got a call saying my grandmother fell and went to the hospital ;( she lost her balance and fell and hit her head on the stairs. She needed 4 stitches. So my mom, aunt and grandma spent the whole day at the hospital.
We still had lunch with our family and waited for news on my grandma.  We are soo happy she was ok!

Yesterday we had the second turkey day of the weekend. The inlaws had a delicious lunch.
Yum!

Happy Thanksgiving!!! I'm stuffed!
