Moving sooner than expected.

The buyers of our house asked if they could move in sooner! We agreed, but now it's crunch time! Yikes!

Most of our things will go into storage since our home isn't ready just yet!

We went to do the pre drywall inspection the other morning. Everything is coming along great! By now the drywall must must be installed.

Over the weekend we spent 1 full day in the city. We went for breakfast at our favorite place in the city.

Little K loves it too.

And so does his favorite dinosaur.

Then we went to a park to see the animals. The dys was beautiful!

And we ended the day with Mexican food with family!

Yum.

Packing is on hold for this weekend, but next week it will be all about packing up this house!

This weekend it's about fall shopping! Sweaters and boots boots boots!
And spending time with family ;)

Love these little dinosaurs!

(We are now referred to mamasaurous, and dadasaurous) ha!

Hope you all have a good weekend!!

Hhaha this morning a little serious. we were a little tired!

So glad tomorrow is Friday!

We finally started!

Finally! We started packing. Only a Month to go! We started with the dining room and kitchen items we don't use often.
I remember our last move, and um packing is the easy part... It's the unpacking that's the worst. But we'll get thru it!

Little K was so curious about why we had all these boxes out. Of course he made one a into a "boat" and played hours in it ha!

Playing music in his boat

Ha! Cutie.

Little K loves Zoe, they are adorable running around the house and playing haha and even cuter when they sit side by side so nicely.

Looking over my pictures tonight made me think about little mans birthday. Its coming right up! 3! 3!!! We will most likely go with a dinosaur theme. Unless a new favorite thing comes up in the next month. Ha!

Love this little man!

That's this morning saying CHEESE over breakfast :)

Hope you all have a great week!

By the Lake

Last weekend we took little K down for a walk by the lake. It was such a beautiful day. We haven't been down in the area for a while. Years ago we use to go often, and 4/5 years ago my sister and I use to rollerblade there. Ahh I miss that!

We sat by the lake and talked our future. Little K loved it and didn't want to leave

Making wishes!

Love this adorable little boy! He's so grown up and surprises me daily! He puts a smile on my face everyday!

And how cute was little k with our newest little cousin

He was soo excited to hold the little baby and was so gentle. Ahhh totally melted my heart!

Friday fun in the city

Last night we had a friends engagement party. I wore a Vince Camuto outfit I purchased last month. This outfit is soo comfy and hugs your body ha! I wore the skirt a couple times before too with different tops (see past posts) but yesterday I wore the cardigan that goes with the skirt. I didn't take a pic of the back, but the back of the cardigan is sheer. I added a black and gold belt, my MK gold tip pumps and my new MK clutch I just got this week! A little gift for me, for having a crazy busy work week!
This outfit also looks so good with my nude gold tip guess pumps. Next time!

The event was so nice. They had a singer songwriter for the whole night. The ambiance was intimate and we enjoyed the music and good company.
Brother inlaws and sister inlaws to be!

We left the party at 1am and went over to  my brother inlaws house for pizza!

Fall has rolled in so it was a little chilly on the patio but sweaters and a little fire made it all ok! Ha!

Backyard picnic and end of August recap

Today we all had a rough morning. Tired and cranky. I had a bad mommy moment in the morning that had me feeling terrible all day.

So I decided to make a fun evening for my little guy.

I picked him up from daycare and we went to get some fast food. We came home, gathered a blanket and toy friends and headed to the backyard for a picnic. Little k loved the idea of having a picnic on the grass :)

Backyard selfies :)

This past weekend we had an end of summer BBQ with friends. Well, end of summer end of living here too!
Friends and family, food and fun. All we need!
How cute were all the kids!

Yummy pichania, cooked to perfection by DH.

Water fun with the kids
And swimming haha!!

The weekend before we went to my inlaws anniversary party. We had a blast!

And by blast I mean heading to bed at 7am! And with little k up at 9am, you could imagine what I felt like that day ha!
But, I had to stay awake! The next day was my cousins bridal shower! A 50's theme! I won the best dressed!! Whohoo!

Italian bridal shower... The only way my family knows how to do it... Holy cookies!!

This picture doesn't even capture them all!

Now that summer is almost over... My focus is now on packing up my house! Wish me luck!

Birthday weekend continued

Not my birthday weekend tho! My niece turned 4! 4!! Can you believe it. Wow, where does the time go! Little k will be 3 in 2 months!

We had a fun play day for her birthday. Little k loved hanging with the bigger kids. He learns so much from them and it's so funny he wants to follow them and pretend that he's a big boy too!

Birthday girl!

It was a frozen birthday party. Ha!

How cute are these kids!

Sunday morning my husband had a work soccer tournament! So little k and I went to watch him play!

Daddy played so well!! Little k cheered him on!

This little boy makes me smile everyday!
He's feeling a little under the weather today so he went to daycare with a sippy cup of honey lemon tea. Haha. ;)

Birthday fun

My birthday week!

Friday night my husband took me on a little downtown vacation. Little k stayed with grandma over night for the first time! He had no problem staying over with grandma. He ate all his dinner and snacks, played and fell asleep in his playpen nice and cozy.

We started the evening checking in to the trump tower hotel!
(Guess dress, MK shoes)

The staff was so polite and made is feel like a million bucks! The hotel was gorgeous!

When we walked into our room my husnand had a beautiful bouquet of flowers waiting for me. There was chocolate covered strawberries and a handwritten birthday card from the manager of the hotel. How nice!

Heated floors. Touch pad light switches and drapes switch. TV embedded in the mirror! Comfy bed with comfy pillows! Ahhhhh

We headed out and took a Taxi not to far from the hotel for dinner.

They made the ceaser salad right by our table which was cool to see. A yummy bottle of vino and delicious steak ending with a vanilla creme brûlée.  They even gave us 2 chocolate muffins to go! Omg I think they were the best muffins I ever had!

We decided to head back to the hotel after dinner and sit at their patio on the 31st floor. We talked about our past, present and future over some wine, and a little more wine... Ha! Perfect because no one had to drive and we were a elevator away from our room.

Sitting in front of all these tall building lights.  The weather was perfect that night.

The next morning we woke up to have breakfast in the hotel dining room.

(Guess shoes, Vince camuto skirt, Kenneth Cole belt, just a tshirt and coach purse)

We had the most delicious croissants!

It was a perfect birthday celebration.

I also share my birthday with my mom. So we had a family dinner too.

Ahh another year older.
