4 months old!

4 months old! 

You weigh 14.4lbs and in 6-9 month clothes. 

You are in size 3 diapers and have the cutest chunky legs.

You are a calm happy baby. And sleep a lot! You are my cuddle bug! 

You are reaching and grabbing your toys and babbling more and more.

Today your doctor said you can begin to eat first foods like cereal and meats! They recommend  meats as first foods now but I'll start you just on rice cereals for now.

 

You weren't too sure about it haha! 

Your torticollis is gone and you don't need physiotherapy anymore! We have one session left turn you are done! 

You have a lot of dry skin, so the doctor gave me some tips:

2 baths a day where I soak you in the tub.

Apply creams like shea butter to damp skin.

And to use ivory snow detergent and no bounce sheets. 

We squish you all day! Ha!

  You haven't perfected your selfie smile yet. You will soon tho. Haha. 

We love you Sooo much baby M! 

Weekend this and that.

The weekends go by so fast! Happy Monday!

Before I recap the weekend. Look up! it's my new blog image of my little family!

This little will begin to eat solids this week! I bought the rice cereal and we see his doctor tommorow. So as soon as he gives his ok we will have a taste! 

These past 4 months went by in a blink of an eye!

He is soo loved! We all gush over babyM!

Big brother loves to cuddle him too.

Or should we say, bug him haha.

Little K can't wait for him to start crawlin around.

Little k had a friend's bday this weekend.

These boys were serious in their costumes 

They had so much fun! They played and ran around for hours!!

My fun this weekend was getting some new art! 

I also got a new piece for the living room

I had a big art there but wanted a big piece not something that filled the wall so much. So the mirror is perfect! Still to come, crown molding and drapes! 

My house to do list is very very long. 

Our next home project will be the backsplash for the kitchen. But boy is it hard to choose! 

I'm hoping to get this done before the new year. But we need to decide first ha! 

It's the last week of school before xmas break! I'm so grateful to be home on maternity leave. Especially since it's little k's first year in school. He gets to have me around making his year so smooth for him. 

This whole week they have special things to wear everyday.

Today is jersey day! So he wore his Toronto FC soccer shirt. I forgot to take a pic! 

The rest of the week it's festive hat, festive shirt, red and green day and PJ day!! How fun is school! 

I'm also happy to have a break from making lunches! 

Last week of school!!! We are looking forward to Christmas break! Are you!? 

Fun Thursday!

Today was a busy fun filled day! 

It began with baby M's physio therapy 

His torticollis is much better. He can fully move his head around, he's much stronger now too! He's a big boy!

And such a happy boy. 

Then the rest of the day was all about big bro!

He had 2 concerts! 

Baby M and I went to the afternoon show. The school parking lot was closed so I met a friend up the street and parked. We walked together down to the school. It's a little strip of shops and restaurants on the way to the school We saw many of the other moms as we walked, it was like being in a small town ha! 

I carried baby M in the baby bjorn and he was loving it. The weather here is awesome for December so the walk was so nice.,

We were seated in the middle and Little k couldn't see me in the audience, he kept looking around. He was Soo cute! 

Singing in his first concert! Well he had one concert when he was 3 but that one he left the stage before it even began! 

Then we went home to wash up and get ready for the evening concert! 

He met up with his friends and they were all so cute jumping around with excitement. 

Little k performed even better this evening knowing we were there watching him. At the end of the first song he saw daddy and yelled out DADA and waved. Ha! It was the cutest and everyone laughed. 

Little k was pooped and fell asleep as soon as we got home. My back is in pain now  carrying my chubby monkey all day! Haha. We all had so much fun.

Holiday fun!

Who is done their gift buying? Not me. Not yet. But almost! Today was a great morning and I crossed off many on my list! 

Ha! Little k thinks the Elf on the shelf brings a few gifts a day ! 

My little baby m aka teddy bear slept 3 hours straight in his stroller as I hopped store to store! 

He is Soo sweet!! He's just getting over a cold.  Can you believe he'll be 4 months next week! 

Today was super hero day for little k

Guess who was soooo happy! 

When I walked in the class his friends ran over to me to take their pictures ha! ️Adorable.

We had a fun weekend, friday little k had an appointment then we went to meet dad downtown for lunch! 

We walked around the mall, little k loved all the Christmas decor! Only a few weeks till Christmas!

Junior Kindergarden observation day

This week we had Jk observation day. Parents were able to go into class and watch the little's in their classroom.

Little k's teacher explained their fun filled daily routine. 

I was pretty impressed with their teaching style. They teach 5 kids at a time in different areas. They have teacher, a prep teacher, ECE teacher and 2 volunteers. 

They have many stations in the classroom , all to get them to explore their creative, imagination and problem solving skills.

Ha! A starbucks play area too! With a cashier, name tags and cups too. 

Little k noticed me 10mins in. So it was great seeing him play for 10mins with his buddies. 

When he noticed me, he was so excited. He brought me around the class and showed me his pictures, his cubby and  his favorite things to do. 

He loves playing with his friends. With cars, Legos, dinosaurs and other animals. He's not into drawing or coloring that much so he doesn't go to those stations that much. 

He loves school which is great! He's learning so much everyday and it's awesome seeing him change from one day to the next. 

He gets weekly homework to help with sounds, writing and math. He really likes match and enjoys the phonics songs! 

We have our own practice books too! 

He's growing up so fast!

Santa! And some weekend fun.

We usually like to get a real tree for Christmas, but last year we couldn't pass up the deal we got on a fully lit fake tree ha! Although Zoe stays out of a real tree and has been all over the fake one.

We still want to keep the tradition for our boys so we went to the same tree farm we've been going to for years. 

Little K was pretty shy with Santa, he whispered what he wanted for Christmas haha.

We had a fun Sunday afternoon and came home to have some warm chicken soup to end the day! 

We had a long weekend because little k was off school on Friday. 

Baby M is at a fun stage. Watching us more closely and starting to bring up toys to his mouth. 

He really has all signs of teething! 

So it's been a while since I followed a diet or had a workout so it's about time I drop this baby weight. 

I'm down 20lbs since giving birth and need 20 more to go for my first goal to hit. 

So today was my first workout. Just 30mins to start. 

I'm putting together a better eating plan too, a little hard when breastfeeding has you wanting to eat anything in sight haha

I'm starting with baby steps and adjust as I go along! 

Baby Physiotherapy

Baby M has a condition called Torticollis. It's basically a stiff neck that has him tilted to the right.
In many cases it's from the position when he was in the uterus. He just preferred tilting to the right, right from birth. 

 
Our doctor spotted this when he was 2 months old and gave us some exercises to do on a daily basis as well as physiotherapy.

His therapy began today, finally after an assessment and long wait!

Our therapist worked with him today and taught me how to do some of the exercises.

 He will have Physio every 2 weeks for now. But she said that he is doing great and really strong, so he's coming out of it on his own too! 

Baby M was sooooo good! He is a very relaxed calm baby once fed and up from a nap. He loved the attention he was getting today and had no problem showing off his ability to hold his head up, stretch and grab some toys.

We even got him this funny looking hat to help him avoid turning right when he is laying down supervised.

He is growing and getting stronger and stronger!
