Weekend fun!

The Mr was away for the weekend watching he Formula 1 races! 

While he was away we had a fun weekend too!

The kids decided to be up super early on Saturday. So we were out the door early! 

We had fun at the park before heading down to my grandparents house

 for a visit 

Can't handle this cuteness. Michael can't wait to play with his big brother. He gets so excited when he watches him run around.

Saturday was a really hot day!! So we needed to cool down. 

Good thing little cousin had a little pool and slide! Ha! 

So much fun! 

I put the kids to bed pretty early both nights ha! Just so I could get some me time!

Sunday we had a bridal shower. Little k was adorable, I told him that they would be the only boys there. He was ok with it and when we got home, he said he had soo much fun with his cousins and he loved the gifts they got him haha. A little pillow toy and dinosaurs.

Ohhh Italian cookies!!! 

The kids were soo good all weekend! 

We had a great weekend, but we were all so happy to see daddy this morning. The kids were soo excited to see him when they woke up. 

Another fun filled week ahead! Only 2 weeks left of school!

Neighborhood Tranquility

Last weekend we found out that just steps away from our home leads us to a beautiful trail! We love walking in trails and usually drive to different parks around the city. Now we have one right in our neighborhood! 

So many big trees, it's so peaceful. 

 The trail still needs some work, we can't wait for it to be completed. It's great now but once they are done beautifying it even more it will be that much better :) 

We found a froggy

Little k loves nature walks. He's learning so much about nature in school, that's all we hear. Ha! "Look mom it's nature" haha 

It's a pretty long trail, great exercise and little k loved riding his 4 wheeler. 

Back on our street little k and his friends love switching cars.

Our backyard isn't complete yet, but we did get a fence which is great! 

My ideas of designing of the backyard changed from last year, we are still working on what will be best for both is and the kids. We have a lot of drawings ha! 

For now it's all about the kids, backyard fun!

The kids have a blast jumping around. 

We are excited for a lot of summer fun!!

Long weekend fun!

Every weekend with kids is fun making memories and new traditions. This weekend it's Victoria Day Long weekend here.

First stop was a sushi lunch for little K. He was asking the last couple days and so that had to be the first thing we did to start the weekend right! 

His favorite is the salmon sashimi. Yum!!

Then we went to the McMichael Canadian Art collection. The grounds are beautiful. We will definitely be there more often this summer.

I was impressed at how little k really enjoyed looking at the Art. He would talk to it and tell us what he thought it looked like. He was a natural and comfortable as if he's been there before.

After going through the gallery, we had a nice walk around the grounds. Beautifully landscaped and art sculptures all around. Both our phones died at that point, boo!

The kids had a great day and then to complete it, we went for icecream! 

Yesterday we went to Canada's wonderland to watch the fire works with the littles! 

!

We all sat on a hill in the park and got cozy with blankets to watch the fireworks! The show was amazing and the kids loved being outside together  eating snacks and watching the fireworks. 

Their faces were priceless. What a great experience for them and definitely a new tradition!

Spring Days

We almost missed stroller fitness yesterday because baby M was a little under the weather. He has his 4top teeth coming through! 4! He's miserable!!! 

But I figured he could nap in the stroller and the fresh spring air could help.

10 moms come out for stroller fitness. The instructor is amazing. She really pushes us hard! I'm feeling it today! 

Then at the end of our workout we have a little playtime with the kids 

 Michael loved it! Not one peep from him as he enjoyed the outdoors! 

This week I decorated our front porch area. 

I bought new planters with Ferns and a cute wreath. We also bought some boxwood plants to add to the front walkway. 

Just missing some mulch to add around the plants which we will do today. 

I started spring cleaning last week! I have a lot of decluttering and organizing to do!

Happy 8 months!

Baby boy you are 8 months old! 

I can hardly believe it :( I truly feel like you were just born! 

You are 20lbs and in size 4 diapers haha you are a big boy!! 

You are crawling like crazy and lift yourself to stand no problem! 

You are just the sweetest baby! You do so well with our busy family! We are always out and about and you just love it! 

You love the bath and you love to eat! 

You feed yourself finger food and eat pretty much everything these days. 

You are still breastfeeding but we are slowly trying to daytime wean you. As its back to work in 3.5 months! Boo! :( 

You enjoy playing with big brother. Big brother is your biggest fan. He's always cheering you on and gets very excited when you learn something new. The bond you guys already have melts my heart! 

This weekend you had a few firsts.

First time going to the movies Ha! You did great! Well,  you were sleeping for most the movie but when you woke up you watched the movie no problem! 

We also went to Niagara Falls this weekend. 

We had lunch at the Rainforest cafe which was fun. You loved seeing the animals and kept screaming at the elephants hah! Which has me thinking that we will do a jungle themed birthday for you! Yes I'm already planning your first  birthday! Sigh. 

Super fun weekend! And a very happy 8 month birthday boy :)
