26 weeks pregnant today!

 This week!
How Far Along: 26 weeks! Ummm 98 days to go!
Size of baby: 1.9lbs size of an eggplant!
Total Weight Gain/Loss: 23lbs

Movement: A lot more! and seems he is most active at midnight! ha!
Cravings: Still I'm obsessed with my nutella and milk daily snacks,
but food aversions seemed to have come back too. So this will be interesting.
Ice cream is still on my good list tho, ha!

Symptoms: Headaches! Lower pressure, my walk ain't that cool. Look out for waddling mama!
Best Moment so far: Husband feeling the 5am strong kicks!


Some new items:

My mom bought all these clothes and blankies for baby K!

I have a lot of laundry coming my way ha! The basket is full and ready for washing.

**Mom Question: I'll be using Ivory snow to wash the clothes... Do you put fabric softener?, and also do you put their clothes in the dryer? With or without a bounce sheet....?

The baby is kicking so much!

So the last couple weeks I was still feeling only light taps from baby K, nothing too strong... But that all changed yesterday morning at 5am! The baby was kicking hard enough to #1 wake me up at 5am and #2 have the husband feel it too! That was a first! I think Zoe liked it too. ha! Yesterday she came at sat right on my belly and the baby was kicking around. Poor Zoe is in for a surprise when baby K arrives haha!

Tomorrow I'll be 26 weeks and I'm approaching my third trimester. I noticed that my appetite is much more demanding but I also find that the food aversions symptom is back. Some things just taste so weird to me. Nevertheless I still find the foods that I love and gobble them up.

Creams for the pregnant belly...

When I first got pregnant I started buying every cream that said it would prevent stretch marks and/or for the pregnant belly. I tried a lot of creams and liked them all, yet found some were pricey and wasted so fast too... I got lazy and gave up ahahh. I know many of us preggo's ask other moms what they used, that's what I did. So I decided to share what I use now.

I just use creams that I used before.
Vaseline Cocoa Butter Cream for my body, it's like 4 bucks and lasts, and Body Shop Cocoa Butter, 20 bucks and lasts too.  I only use the bodyshop one on my belly and bum I don't like the feeling of it on my arms and legs. (Not during the hot sticky summer blah!)

Big belly! Sorry to startle you!

I read that no matter what creams we use, if you will get stretchmarks in pregnancy, you'll get them with creams or without. Greeeaaaattt. So far I don't have any on my belly, I don't even have the dark line... yet.... I do have a stretched belly button and a stretched hole above it where my belly ring was haha! All my stretch marks are on the side of my hips and bum (for me, being hippy to begin with it's noooo surprise that my hips and bum would be the areas to grow faster than the belly hhaha!)

Sunday of sunshine and food!

 The weekend was just beautiful here. Yesterday morning husband and I spent our morning up north, enjoying the sunshine and scenery.  We stopped by the apple farm for apple turnovers and spent some time just walking around. There was a nice breeze so it was perfect.

When we came home I made a berry pie I had bought from the farmers market... my bff bought one too and made it the day before. She warned me that it didn't taste that good.... and she was right. BLAH!! It was sooo sour! and made a berry big mess haha! I'll stick to apple pies only.



I was excited for my dinner, but seems as though when I was making it I felt nauseous.. and when I started eating it all tasted so weird to me. My husband said it all tasted fine.... but I couldn't stomach any of it!

So when my sister told me she was going to a patio in my area for dinner, I quickly invited myself haha! The four of us had a great evening, chatting and eating away, the weather was perfect for a evening out. 

We had fried calamari for appetizer and I had a yummy pizza!


The third trimester is creeping up and lots of new changes in my body are happening. I can't believe I have 102 days left!

Ahh the weekends! Hope you all are having a great one!

We were planning to go to the beach today because the weather is so nice. But we weren't prepared at all. So instead we went for a morning breakfast and down to the city for most the day. I also got to stop buy the farmers market for some fresh veggies. :) When I went to the farmers market yesterday for fruit, I also bought a Berry Pie. I'll make that tomorrow, it looks delicious!

Yesterday I went to visit my nieces, they are just too adorable! Love them! I'll be seeing them again today. They make my day!

25 Weeks Pregnant today! 15 weeks to go!

Movement: I feel him kicking and punching throughout the day. Feels like he's tap dancing haha!
Sleep: Some days great, some days I just toss and turn. boo! I'm feeling much more tired these days too. Third Trimester is creeping up.
Cravings: Nutella and Salad haha! Not together!
What I'm looking forward to? Getting the nursery! I can't wait!
What I miss: Nothing!

I started separating the baby clothes/blankets and stuffed animals for laundry.  My husband and I were looking at all the cute little onesies and gowns in the basket, soooo cute! We are soooo excited!

 I also have my diaper stash ready! My mom has been buying me diapers since the first day I got pregnant! I told her to cool it, I think I have enough for a little while haha! 3 packs of newborn and 4 packs of 1-2.

 Yesterday was sooooo hot here! I went out for 5 mins and the air was soo humid blahh! So I stayed in the whole day!

At 4pm it was 37, but felt like 49! 49!!!!!!!! Gross! I love summer, but not that kinda summer!

My Peg Perego Skate 2011 arrived!

Here it is!

We put it together last night and strolled around the house with it ha! We love it!

It also came with a rain cover, shopping bag and cup holder!

We also took measurements for the nursery.  I'm still torn between the 2 rooms I have that can be for the nursery. One is a perfect square room, 1 window more wall space, but a little bit smaller than the other room. Second room has 3 windows, so less wall space. I think decorating of the room will need to be after we get the furniture, that way we decorate the right room!

Weekend Post and boy is it a HOT summer!

It is HOT here in Toronto! The humidity is crazy too! This preggo can hardly breathe out there.

Saturday night husband and I went for a long walk on lakeshore. It was a beautiful night but by the the end of our walk my hands and feet were swollen! Not cool!

Yesterday was even hotter!

My bff had her son's baptism yesterday, I don't have pics with his cute outfit, it was just too hot for him, so they changed him right after the ceremony so he could stay fresh!

But still cute as a button! Congrats Baby A!

Little A is patiently awaiting for his bff baby K to arrive.

Look at this belly! haha! My husband was shocked yesterday saying it looked like it grew so much over night! I get sorta freaked out thinking how much bigger it needs to get haha! yikes! 109 more days to go! :)

Zoe also turned 4 this month so we bought her a new scratch post.  Since the one we had in our master bathroom for her broke and she started using our bed as a scratch post, bad kitty. Good thing she loves her posts much better!
