Sweet little girl

My little niece is so sweet! She got to go home yesterday and she had soo many visitors!

She is so cute! Really I would go visit everyday! But I don't want to get in their way ahah! I'll go tomorrow ha!

My workout regime pretty much stopped this week, way too much excitement with the new baby.

I'm counting my calories but knowingly going over. UGH I'm having a hard time! But I will keep on going and try my best everyday.

The good news is that I fit into a pair of pants that I haven't worn since May! (pre MC) But no weight has been lost GRRR. I am not happy with my current weight. I'm at a weight I've never gotten up to before so it bothers me! But I guess not enough to make some extreme changes... I'm not an extreme type of gal.... I have my plan and I'll work slowly on that aha!

Today's Food Journal
BF - strawberry/milk/blueberry smoothie
SNK - medium coffee
Lunch- half a sandwich, 2 spring rolls (they were selling them at work!)
Snack- handful of almonds and tea
Dinner- 1 pork chop, beans and some potato wedges
SNK- 3 choc chip cookies (I KNOW I KNOW!!!!) sigh.....

No exercise today, however I did jump on my trampoline twice for 2 mins while I worked in my home office tonight aahaha!

Weekend of lots of eating..Oh dear

Look what my sister made for me Saturday night...how could I resist! My sister is such a good little baker!
My birthday weekend was fun but it was filled with a lot of eating! Going wayyy over my daily calories!

Friday night we went out for Thai dinner. We went to this place in our old area. It brought back so many good memories. We use to come here all the time just after we got married. We would talk about our goals and plans so much at this place, so it felt great to be there.
I had my favorite, Coconut red curry shrimp and veggies.. Yum!
Look what I got too! As a gift from my cousins... Word art!!!!! I just love word art! (you all know that!) Can't wait to put it up! I have the perfect place for these in my bedroom!

Friday night we planned to go watch Eat Pray Love but we were so tired after our dinner and decided to come home and relax so tonight we are hoping to head out to the movies and watch it. Can't wait!!!

AND this week I need to REALLY I mean REALLY focus on my weight loss goals! I desperately want to drop 10lbs soon! Pictures don't lie and so far I'm not liking what I see!

My Birthday ....

Today was my 29th birthday and my mom's 52nd birthday. When I was younger (haha) I felt that time would go so slow, even at 25, 30 seemed sooo far away... and now the years are just flying by! I am in a happy time in my life tho (minus my pms week aahah) I've accomplished many of my goals in my 20's and I have many new future ones to come too. I'm looking forward to all the great years ahead. Living, Loving laughing and even starting my own little family one day :) I'm excited and looking forward to growing and growing towards my dreams! (had to use it, it was too perfect heehee)

Tonight we went to my moms for dinner and cake. My mom bought me this money tree, whoohoo lets hope it works so maybe I could leave my stressful job! hmm I'd like that!

I'm so glad tomorrow is Friday, it's been a long week! Going out with the husband tomorrow night for a bday out on the town, can't wait!

Happy Friday! I'm going to set some new goals that I want to reach for the year! :)

Weekend recap

New dress! This weekend we had a lot of parties to attend and it was so much fun. Friday night we went salsa dancing and I could really feel the strength in my legs from the rollerblading.

Today I felt the burn of the fun weekend... sigh... I was so tired today and soo grumpy haha! Sorry sister and friends (and twitter ha!) for listening to me vent all day... I pretty much was upset about everything. Could it be that I'm feeling nervous about being another year older this week!? EEEE!

So I needed to snap out of it, so I went rollerblading after work with these girls (below) It was so much fun and boy did we sweat! I feel a little better.
But I'm tired! Another late night, so I'm going to bed! Hope I'm in a better mood tomorrow!

I looked everywhere for another one of these starbucks tumblers to give another away, but they are sold out everywhere I went!. BUT CHAPTERS has it's own version of one in different colors so next time I'm there I'll pick one up!

Today I went for a jog, it felt great, minus the humid weather we are having today.

Food Journal Update:
I have been eating out a lot this week. However I am watching my portions. 2 times we went to a burger joint, I actually resisted getting a burger! And just shared fries with the husband. A couple times this week I was able to stay within a 1200 calories in my day it was really hard tho, So really 1500 is my goal.

With all this diet talk, I'm still going out for a dinner date tonight. I have 1000 calories left for today ahah! The joy of sleeping in and skipping BF. :)

Food Journal

It's true..... I've been totally overeating!

Went to the drive in yesterday night and had, pop, popcorn, hotdog and cotton candy! yikes!

So I neeeed to really get back on track! So I was thinking about what worked for me before... and I know that this blog and being very honest on my blog helped me in the past. The last couple months I've been thrown off track, but I'm slowly getting there. My exercising goals are going great as well as my smoothies for breakfast.... BUT My eating habits are up and down. Especially with the nice weather and going out ALLL the time!

So, I'm going to start a food journal again. I'm going to be very honest with it (which will make me think twice! with my food choices ahah!)

When I blog I'll have a section at the end of foods I ate that day, like below. And I'll also tweet my meals as well. My blog has helped me a lot in the past so I know this will work! It's time to DROP these 10-15lbs!

Today's meals.
Tall Skinny Vanilla Latte
2 custard tarts
Rice, veggies with chicken and steak kabobs
Asparagus and steak
Mcdonalds wildberry smoothie.

Oh boy so busy!

I've been sooo busy! like I already mentioned before ahah! But geez I'm non stop! Although I I'm not complaining at all...I really don't mind having the busy schedule. I'm doing all things that I love to do after work...However my Iphone issue last week erased my calendar! It totally messed up my schedule. I actually forgot some things to do yesterday and today.

With my busy schedule I'm trying really hard to follow my goals that I'm setting. So far I'm not doing too bad! Although I'm counting cals I still have been eating out once and while because we just have not been home.

The good news! I lost 3lbs! Not much and still in the 150's but I feel good and I feel healthy so I'm happy! Now just to fit back into my clothes I'll be more happy! (It's amazing how much my body changed in those 2 months) I have 4lbs more to get to pre-preg weight then 10lbs more to get to my goal weight a total of 14lbs to go!

Tomorrow I have a follow up doctors appointment, I have no concerns, so it should be quick! (hopefully she doesn't get upset with my weight gain)

This weeks Goals:
*Smoothie Breakfasts (loving this!)
*Only 1 coffee a day (hard but trying!)
*1500 Calories/day (trying trying)
* Tracking calories on Iphone "my fitness pal app"
*Drink lots of water everyday! A MUST!
* 3 bite rule on sweets
* 3 workouts a weeks

Now I'm off to read some blogs then off to bed! Good Night!

Weekend with the ladies!

Such a fun weekend! My mom hosted a baby shower for my sister in law. We all helped out and it turned out perfect! My sister baked a lot and boy the dessert table was delicious!

After the shower we headed downtown Toronto for my sisters boyfriends birthday. We had so much fun, lots of laughs that's for sure!

I'm exhausted!

Tomorrow I'll be getting back on the smoothies for breakfast and salads for lunch. I really need to see the scale move backwards! Especially since we are planning a trip for next month. We are planning to do a road trip through the USA! New York-North Carolina - Miami! I'll blog about it once we fully decide on it, and I'd love to hear about the must go to places in these cities.
