Weekend events, Wedding and Bridal shower!

 It was a fun and busy weekend! Saturday my cousin got married! The ceremony was beautiful and bride and groom looked amazing!

The weather was perfect, it was a gorgeous day. After the ceremony my family came back to my place for lunch and to freshen up for the evening reception.

 When we got to the reception they had a photo area with a photographer taking pics of all the guests. They had cute props too.

 The reception was soo nice, it was really fun being with our family, celebrating a wonderful couple. 

 We are sooo happy for the bride and groom!

The party was great, and we were the last ones to leave hahah!

I was exhausted!!! But had to wake up early on Sunday to get ready for another event! I had my other cousin's bridal shower! Great food and games. It was really fun. She had a tiffany themed shower. It looked really nice.

Once I got home I went straight to bed. 34 weeks preggo and these busy weekends make for some swollen hands and feet.

I think I will need the whole week to relax.

How Far Along: 34 weeks!
Size of baby: 4.75-5.3lbs!
Total Weight Gain/Loss: gain 36lbs eek
Movement: lots of hiccups!
Sleep: Sleep is good, minus waking up to numb hands
Symptoms: Joint pain and feeling more tired.
Best Moment so far: My baby shower!
What I'm looking forward to? meeting my little guy!

I was going back and forth about getting the breast pump. I asked so many moms their opinion and decided that getting one is the right choice for me. We also got the Angel Care Video Monitor. I read great reviews on it and hope it works great for us too.



My friend over at http://www.believinginserendipity.com/  is in labour! She was feeling contractions yesterday then woke up at night with them closer together, 15min then 10 min then 5 min apart!
She texted me this morning and she received the epidural and is 3.5cm dilated
She is doing fine so far and says everything is going smoothly! Her due date was Sept 28
so her little guy is a little early. Gives me the feeling that my little guy will be
an October baby instead of Nov. We'll see!

I'm so excited for her!

Mama's out there with any advice about labour,  please send it over! Only 6 weeks left to go!
I wonder if I will get contractions throughout the day too, giving me time to prepare... or will my water break suddenly, hmm...I can't believe how fast time has gone by!


I set up the bassinet. It's so cute, I love it! And soon will get the husband to instal the car seat in the car.

We have a busy weekend. My cousin is getting married! And we have my other cousin's bridal shower Sunday. Fun, Busy weekend! (and lots of yummy food too!)

Avocado Saver!?

Have you seen this? An Avocado saver? While out shopping this week I saw this avocado saver for 4.00. I never seen it before so wanted to try it out.

At lunch yesterday I only had half a avocado and saved the other half with the pit.  It fits perfectly in the avocado saver.

It actually works! So glad I have that now.



I also got 2 small pumpkins! Next week I will buy big ones! Tomorrow is the first day of fall!

My Baby Shower!

Yesterday was my Baby Shower!

My Sister organized it and she is the one that did the baking too! Looks awesome huh!

 I have a huge family.  We had 65 people in total. We rented this old town hall to hold the event and it was perfect. It was a fun afternoon!

 I got everything and anything for baby K, you name it, I got it!

 My niece was my little helper, she loved opening all the gifts.

 Lots and lots...

I have all the baby things scattered around, I put most things away in my hallway closet aka Baby stuff closet.  Some things for later use in the basement ,and of course all the clothes in the basement ready to be washed. I have a big basket full of blankets, and 1 laundry basket over flowing with newborn to 3 month clothes and another basket for 6-9 month clothes. 

Baby K is soo loved and everyone is soo excited to meet him! We are so blessed with amazing family and friends. 

I also got many gift cards, so next purchase will be a good Breast pump!

33 week OB Appointment, Questions for the OB.

 Today I went for my 33 week OB appointment. Doctor said that my last ultrasound was perfect! Baby is growing as he should! I asked her about the new aches and pains and she said they are all normal :) I'm feeling pressure (down there) she said it's ok and doesn't mean early delivery, just that baby is in down position and my body is preparing for it.

I asked her again about sleeping on my back (the only way i feel comfortable) all the books say not to... she said it's totally fine! So continue to do what works for my body.

I also asked her about taking DHA/EPA supplements during my third trimester. She said she does not recommend them if they are coming from a fish source because of the mercury. She said to look for veggie based ones at the health food store. Everything I read says it should come from fish like Salmon. (which I ate before but now can't stand) I guess I will try and keep my diet balanced as much as I can... only 7 weeks left to go!

Yesterday I started my scrapbook for my pregnancy journey. My husband laughed because I put Zoe in it too. LOL She was our first FURBABY! so of course she needs to be in it!

 Fall is almost fully here!  I can't wait to see the leaves change! Yesterday I went looking for pumpkins haha! I know it's early! No one is selling them anyway! So I bought these flowers to go in the pots for now... Until I find pumpkins.... I will be the first to buy them ahah!

Wordless Wednesday

Cravings and Nesting during my pregnancy

Yesterday I was craving my grandma's Milk Rice. So I decided to make it! And while I was making it, I ran out of milk haha! No worries, I stopped the process, and ran out to get more!.  It tasted exactly them same!

During my whole pregnancy I craved a lot of my childhood foods... Nutella, Milano cookies, My grandmothers cooking... and much more. Mmmmm I'm now hungry hahaha! Did you have cravings like these, from your childhood?

Like I mentioned before, my nesting stage has completely taken over... I get overwhelming joy at looking at organized closets, I open them a couple times a day just to look.. haha crazy person
Am I the only one that paces the house looking in drawers and closets to organize?

Weekend of great weather and family

 The weekend was beautiful. The weather was perfect. Yesterday we went for a walk by the lake.  It was soo nice. I know the grass is always greener on the other side, but I really wish we lived there in front of the lake. It's such a great vibe down there.  I just love the energy nature gives us. I felt so good after our walk. I even got a little sun burn on my nose.

Saturday we went to visit my grandparents.  They were making tomato sauce, it's the season. They are soo cute. I took a couple jars for myself ahahh. mm mmm.

My SIL's dad is sick in the hospital. We really hope he get's better soon :( The hospital he's at is not too far from my house so afterwards on Saturday night, my brother stopped over our place.

My niece is just too adorable! She can take 3 steps alone but then sits to crawl, cause she is super quick at crawling ahhah.  She loves Zoe too. She calls her doggie, hahha. Zoe is pretty good with her, so I think Zoe will have no problem adapting to baby K!

She is soo active crawling and touching everything! My brother was taking things away from our living room and putting them up on a higher counter haha. She was finding things on our floor like pens and playing with it. She was even trying to open the cupboards too. Watching a toddler is exhausting, and you can't have your eyes off them!  :)

We also went to visit husbands family for lunch yesterday. His dad got them all a shirt for his painting company. Look how cute they all are. We need one for Baby K too. 

32 weeks pregnant update and presents!

This week!
How Far Along: 32 Weeks!  (8 weeks to go!)
Size of baby: Almost 4 lbs!
Movement: Love feel him kicking around
Craving: I'm getting weird cravings.. yesterday I wanted Pizza and ice cream and french fries! And also wanted to buy pumpkins (which are not for sale yet, well early this week they weren't, I'll check this week haha)
Symptoms: Swelling and my joints are sore.
Best Moment so far: seeing him and hearing is heartbeat this week :)

I'm also in the crazy crazy part of nesting. I've cleaned all my closets and made soo much space around the house ahaha. I feel much better now, knowing where all the baby things will be around the house and in the closets neat and tidy... for now ahahh.

went out for lunch :) Just the 2 preggos haha!


She's due in 18 days! Soo exciting!!!!!!!

Look at this super cute charm she got me for my birthday. I love it! It's a pacifier!


She was also able to get me a discount on a Kitchen Aid Mixer! I was soo excited when she told me. Makes me want to bake up a storm really really soon ahahh!

Tomorrow i'll be visiting my grandparents, haven't seen them in a while! My grandma had shingles and her doc told me to stay away for 3 weeks. So I'm happy to go see them tomorrow. And happy to eat her delicious food haha!
