A Friends Wedding.

A good friend of mine got married yesterday!
(I bought my dress at H & M and it was soo comfy! I didn't end up wearing the shoes, they were killing just standing there)

My friend and I worked together years ago and when we met we just clicked! She is such a nice fun girl and I'm soo happy for her.

Her wedding was beautiful and so much fun.

It was a Portuguese wedding and the food was sooo good! Lets just say there was NO watching what you eat because they had dish after dish and then a midnight seafood and dessert table that was to die for!
And I won the beautiful center piece!!
Today is a errand running, home cleaning, Christmas decorating and working on the side biz kinda Sunday ahah! It's cold and snowy today!

Hope you all are enjoying your Sunday!

A evening of shopping and TGIF!

Oh I am happy the weekend is almost here!

What a week! It's been soo busy at work! I have new coordinating responsibilities and it's been a challenge but I'm doing well, just exhausted. I'm also making sure to fit in working on my side biz's after work and that's going really well :) I really want to be doing what I want full time.... one day one day...

I only cooked at home twice this week but I had homemade breakfast and lunches with healthy snacks all week!

After work today I went to the mall to shop for a dress for a friends wedding on Saturday. I bought 2 dresses a pink one and a black one... I love them both! And now I don't know which one to choose!

I also bought a new face wash and loofah. I love using loofahs to help with circulation and polishing up my skin.

I was tempted to buy more Christmas decor but decided to wait and do that shopping with the husband. We both love Christmas! I can't wait to get our tree and decorate it, and put all the decor outdoors. Christmas has always been a happy time for me and I just get so excited just talking about it.

Slowly I started taking out some decor, I'll do more this weekend :)

Hope you all have an awesome Friday!!!

A blogger gift!

I received this gift today from a blogger friend! Jenn from http://chancesimtaking.blogspot.com/ had a giveaway last month. Look how pretty the bracelet is. Thanks!! :)
Today was a rough day at work, I ended up getting home at 7pm! GRRR I was not happy. I had plans to shop tonight but instead I'm snuggling on my couch with a tall cup of tea and the TV!

Here is a pic of the little book I've been reading every night to put me back on track. I read 2 pages every night. I love it and it makes me smile always! "Wink at your stress: we all know you aren't so important" :)

Monday goals and Veggie Soup!

Lots of GREEN! Over the weekend I decided to make a soup so I can have it for lunch everyday this week. I wanted to make it yesterday but we were with family until the late evening and I was pooped! So I made it tonight!

First I popped dinner in the oven... Pork chops with beans.
While that was cooking, I got my soup going. I'm excited for my lunches!

Last week I wrote these goals so lets see how I did...

*Create a new vision board for 1 year goals. (DONE! I have it in my bedroom and it's a constant reminder of my dreams and bigger plans!)
* print out quotes that help me stay on track during stressful days. (getting to this)
* Make a routine that works, some evenings for working on the side biz and some evenings for working out! (Schedule in the making!)
*Weigh myself weekly to keep my weight on track!(doing that, yikes! the number is not what I was hoping for ahah!)
*Cook at home 4 times a week. (Trying so hard with our busy schedules!)
*Always pack a lunch! (Always!!!)
*Always carry snacks in my purse for days that schedules get thrown off (I'm not pleasant to be around when hungry and this adds much more stress in my life lol) (ahahh I do this)
* Set automatic calendar alarms to myself with what I need to do on a particular day. (yup! I'm doing this, my iphone alarm is set at 6pm daily what I should do for the evening!)
* Read a positive book every night when going to bed, to keep me in a positive state (Love doing this, puts me in a happy positive state before I go to bed :)

So I'm doing well so far. Keeping yourself reminded of your goals is so important. That's why having a vision board with pictures of your goals and even a daily alarm that reminds you helps so much to keep you on track!

Ahhhh I relaxed! I'm enjoying my tea while blogging and then working on my side biz. I had a great Monday which I haven't had in a long time :) I'm grateful for that!

New Vision Board

Today husband and I had the day off for Remembrance Day. We woke up early and walked to get our morning coffee. It's a beautiful Fall today today.

Being home today feels great. The sun is shining and and I'm feeling much more positive.

Husband made BBQ for lunch too YUM!!!

My New Vision Board!! I already have a shared Vision Board in our Office, but it's turned into more of a business Vision Board, which is great but I felt that I want my own personal Vision Board just for meee!

I went to Homesense and they have so many different framed vision boards. I bought this one, I think it's soooo pretty! I already printed out some pics for it but I'm still working on it. I'm going to DREAM BIG on this!

Health goals, Family goals (start a family and be a WAHM!), Business goals(multiple Internet biz's), Finance goals, Blog goals, Travel goals(own a beach vacay home!), Spiritual goals, Real estate/House reno goals....

What are some things you would put on your vision board!?

Stress=clumsy

I fell down these stairs! Yesterday I was home not feeling well and in the afternoon I slipped on the first step and tumbled down the stairs. Usually I'm the person that would laugh when someone falls (lol), but this time I did not laugh...I never fell down the stairs like that in my life! I've slipped and fell on my butt before but this fall was like no other! I slipped fell back then front then back then front... OUCH!!! I was even holding my netbook which also took a hard hit slamming to the bottom of the stairs. Good thing is that I'm ok, just bruised and VERY sore. I can only blame the stress I've been under. I need to take it easy!

I'm off work tomorrow for Remembrance day. So I will make it a ME day. My goal setting day! I want to create a routine to start following again and I want to finish my vision board.

I skipped the workout today, heck I can barely walk after my fall, my back is sooo sore. So hopefully I can work out tomorrow.

Check out this weight shake my sister bought (her blog) she will keep us updated on her progress. I tried it out, I think I want one too!

New Goals and New Vision Board

I'm home today. Yesterday I had a really stressful day at work. I couldn't sleep all night just worrying and feeling anxiety. I woke up tired and with a big headache! Taking the day off will only help a bit since all my work will still be there tomorrow. But I needed some time to myself. Some time to reorganize my goals, Life goals and Health goals.

Goals are soo important. I also love making vision boards, so I print out pics all that I want to achieve and post them up in my closet and in my office. :) I'll show you my new one when I complete it! :)

This weeks Goals:
*Create a new vision board for 1 year goals.
* print out quotes that help me stay on track during stressful days.
* Make a routine that works, some evenings for working on the side biz and some evenings for working out!
*Weigh myself weekly to keep my weight on track!
*Cook at home 4 times a week.
*Always pack a lunch!
*Always carry snacks in my purse for days that schedules get thrown off (I'm not pleasant to be around when hungry and this adds much more stress in my life lol)
* Set automatic calendar alarms to myself with what I need to do on a particular day.
* Read a positive book every night when going to bed, to keep me in a positive state. :)

These are some ways in helping with keeping me on track and keeping the ultimate goals in sight.

How do you keep on track with all your goals.??

Just love the weekends!

This mornings breakfast at Cora's was delicious! My sister and I met with my BFF for breakfast. It was a nice morning and we had a great time chatting. We talked life and babies, she is due in February and we can't wait to meet her little man!

The husband and his friends went away this weekend, so Saturday I spent my evening in Toronto with my sister. Then on our way back up near my place we decided to have a late dinner. I live north of the city but in a very busy part! All restaurants were about 45 to 60min wait last night. We ended up at Chilies which was the shortest wait. I can say other than the dessert I'm not a fan.

This afternoon we headed to my aunts sale. I bought some cute scarves and a ring. Love my purchases :)

After a long day out we ended it at a sushi restaurant! All you can eat sushi, oh boy!

Can't wait to eat healthier tomorrow and can't wait to work out this week. I think I will add an extra workout this week. 4 workouts are needed!

Hope you all had a great weekend!

Goals Goals Goals!

The past couple weekends have been about family get togethers and lots of food! So with all fun I totally have not been tracking what I'm eating.
Tonight I made a yummy chicken stirfry and I have left overs for lunch too :)

My workouts have been on and off. So I really need to get back on track!
Work has been stressful and I've been coming home exhausted. Which has me slacking in all my goals. I need to get out of this rut!

This weeks Goals:
*Oatmeal for Breakfasts (It's so cold, I like a warm BF!)
*Only 1 coffee a day (going well!)
*1500 Calories/day (need to get back on track!)
* Tracking calories on Iphone "my fitness pal app"
*Drink lots of water everyday!
* 3 bite rule on sweets
* 3 workouts this week.
* Weigh myself weekly.
* 3 days a week working on my home goals (side biz/life/hobbies etc)

Do you have any back on track tips I could use!?
