Summer cousin fun

Kristian is so funny when it comes to his cousin baby E, he has toddler kinda love for her, he gives her kisses and not so soft pats haha. Yesterday we went to the mall and when we put baby E in the carseat next to him in the car he yelled, OHhhh Noooo. Haha! He always looks over at her expecting her to chat back or something. He'll babble and point saying baby. I'm thinking he's asking her what she thinks she's doing in his car haha. Baby E is soooo cute! See pic below. 

The kids were so good at the mall which was great for me and my sister ;) we shopped a little at H & M. My sister and I would have these kinda dates before we had kids and spend hours in the mall. Not anymore ha! We are on baby time. 

After an hour or so we went in the family bathroom so baby E can nurse and baby k can run and get his energy out. These bathrooms are awesome. Only for mommy and babies and security lets you in. So glad they have these in most malls now. 

I started going through all of baby k's toys and filtering out the baby ones, some to give away and some to save for baby #2 and bringing out more toys for his age. Little K loves mostly bouncy balls books and blocks and his Elmo.... But so far his favorite thing to do is run run run ha! 

Mother's Day weekend

My second Mother's Day! I'm so proud to be a mom to my sweet little boy. I love him more than words can express! He has brought soo much joy to our family and I feel so blessed to be his mom.

This weekend we went cross border shopping. The drive is not that long and we got some really good deals. I bought 4 pairs of shoes, jeans, a dress and baby k some shoes and outfits, my husband found some great deals too. We spent the whole day shopping, eating out and having fun. Baby K loved it. We also shopped at target. I love target! Can't wait for one to open near us soon! On the way back home we drove by Niagara Falls and stopped and the Hershey factory. A must!

On Mother's Day we went to visit our mothers to celebrate Mother's Day. We had a great Mother's Day weekend.

Sleep training and Christmas shopping

This weekend my husband started sleep training without me. Friday night I went out with the girls for nice evening to catch up. My husband let baby K cry it out to sleep. He went in every 5 minutes to tell him to sleep and within 30 minutes he fell asleep. He screamed and threw his head back slamming it against the crib over and over (eek) but eventually stopped and fell asleep. We did it again yesterday and it took 17 minutes with less crying. Hoping tonight it's less! We are working on it!

I also spent the weekend doing some Christmas shopping. I got his daycare teachers all a gift and a little gift for each of his little friends in his class.

I'm not even close to being finished Christmas shopping. But we love last minute shopping so we won't be done until Christmas eve!!

Fall is just around the corner, although it still feels like summer here! Which is great too. But as fall is approaching and I'm here still carrying around some baby weight, I'm looking for outfits that will hide or slim down certain areas. Thinking about fall clothes and shoes

I spent my day at my grandparents house with my niece and little Kristian. I was soo tired today so we just stayed in playing on the ipad and watching TV.

I talked to my niece about starting school and she was showing me her new shoes and her new backpack, very cute pink stuff :) haha

I then started thinking of allll the things I need for this coming fall and especially for back to work, it's creeping up.

DH had got me a gift card to the mall as part of my birthday gift, for those things specifically. But when I went to the mall I was overwhelmed. Ya there were a lot of things I liked and wanted, But I had no vision of what I really wanted to wear. What style do I want? I was confused! I haven't really thought about it in a while!

So I decided to follow what the, What Not To Wear show does. Buy a complete outfit from top to bottom. So my goal the next couple weeks is to buy 3 outfits to get me started. Top to bottom! A casual outfit, a work outfit and a going out to dinner outfit.

Buying shoes are the easiest for me so I'll start with the bottom up haha

Today at the mall Mickey and Minnie were there! So we stood in line to take pictures.



Kristian fell asleep while we were in line and I had to wake him up to meet Mickey. He was in a fog haha so wasn't too impressed.


Kris has been sleeping soooo much better lately. I'm soo happy about that!

His appetite is getting bigger too. I need to make even more food these days. This week I gave him a mix of food I made and jarred baby food too.

The last couple days I took him out the whole day from morning to night. I must say I am impressed with my little man. He is soo good for his mama. I'm able to go out and about with no problems. Love my little boy!



Today we are hitting the zoo! And today he is 9 months! another post to come later!

New dresses and fun weekend

We had amazing weather all weekend. We found a new park in our area we checked out this weekend too. It's perfect for long walks!

Saturday we spend the whole day out. Eating at our favorite restaurants. Talking, walking by the lake.

We totally messed up Kristian's sleep schedule with sleeping in and getting to bed late haha! I'll need to fix that this week. Although I don't mind at all staying in bed all morning.

I wore 2 new dresses I recently bought. The floral maxi dress from old navy and the white and beige one from Tommy Hilfiger love them.

What I don't love his my hair haha! Mama needs a haircut/style ASAP!

End of a busy week! Doctor appt, baby fun and shopping!

This week has been crazy busy.

I can hardly remember the week haha.

Wednesday I went to my family doctor to tell her about my knee and wrist pain. She thinks it could be arthritis. EEEK! I hope not! I hope that once I drop more weight it will go away!  She said to move away to a hot place and that will make it go away. haha I'm for it! :)
Next week I'll be going back to her for a full checkup.

She saw baby K for the first time too! She said he looks very healthy and very attentive. She suggested that I feed more cereals, as did our pediatrician. She also said it was time to wean off breastmilk and have more solids... our pediatrician said the same but I'm finding it tough to skip out feedings. And after talking to my twitter moms I am just going to follow Baby K. I don't feel he is ready to skip some nursing feedings. I am trying to stretch them a little longer though... trying :)


 

Today we went and registered for daycare, baby boy is all set for full time daycare in October. I don't really want to talk about it. ha! It's getting too close! But the place is great and all the kids there are happy and love it. It's close to our home and fits our work schedules perfectly.

Look what I got! A new Coach purse! I love it! although it looks like all my other coach purses ahaha. But it's cross body which I love and big enough to fit my ipad! :)

I have been planning my little boy's baptism so yesterday we did a little photo shoot. And my brother took lots of pictures of baby K!

Sunny days and New stuff!

This week was just beautiful! We never had a March like this! I was sporting a tube top getting some sun.

Today baby and I spent most the day out shopping and out for a walk in the neighborhood.

Even though the weather has been awesome, yesterday I was feeling a little down. I think it's the sleepless nights cathching up to me. I just haven't been feeling myself. I usually sleep when the baby sleeps at night. But the past 2 weeks, I just can't get to sleep. It's so frustrating and it's making me feel crabby and foggy. My body is really feeling it too, my back, knees,ankles and wrists. Boo!

Today I decided to try and feel better with a little shopping. :) and with Mr snuggles being so cute everyday, it always makes me feel better.

 He was just playing and playing while I took my time browsing around.

Today we used the seat part of the stroller which is great because the canopy is much larger and blocks most the sun.... Well, the real reason we used it was because baby K had a blowout... poop all over his carseat, I had to clean it and let it dry, so we still went out for our walk with the other part of the stroller :). I'm having big issues with diapers these days. I went up a size to see if it would help... but nope still happens :/ 

This evening I went down to visit my mom and sister to discuss my sisters wedding next week... NEXT week!! We talked about or hair and makeup and decorating the house. We are all sooo excited.

Baby is sleeping, so I'm going to try and sleep too. Wish me luck!

Just some Tuesday fun

We started off our day with no coffee in our house. I was a little grumpy, but then decided to just buy breakfast and enjoy it at the park with baby K.

The weather was perfect.

I wanted to just stay out the whole day! But Baby K was a little fussy today so we spent most the day indoors.

We ate some cereal and made a mess and we watched some Mickey Mouse videos too.

We also received his cute shoes for my sisters wedding! Which is just 10 days away! How cute are these black leather slipper shoes with his name on them!

Then this evening my sister came over and we went to the mall to shop! DH babysat ;) we had a awesome time at the mall.

Blog post - Beautiful week, shopping and playdate

Today was such a beautiful day!

So was yesterday! Yesterday my nieces came over for a visit. My 18 month old niece was having so much fun dancing and singing, she has the most adorable personality. She was copying everything I was doing, and she just loves her baby cousin.

The sun was shining so bright today, I love that spring came early! Today baby and I went out for a walk and went out to shop a little too.

While out shopping today at homesense I saw 2 chairs that I like, I have the perfect spot in my bedroom for one. Hmm!

I love homesense. Today I bought 2 new pots!

Yesterday I tried putting baby boy in the seat attachment of the stroller, see the pic below. He is wayy too small for it still. Although this seat can recline so he could be in it very comfortably if I use it.
