What a weekend.

It's a long weekend here. Today is family day so my husband is off. We had a busy weekend out. Friday I spent the whole day with my sister shopping. I bought Kristian 2 suits for upcoming weddings. Saturday we had my cousins birthday party which was really fun and also went to visit my grandparents and celebrated my husbands birthday with his family yesterday. Lots of running around! But lots of fun. Kristian loves being out and about.

Saturday night I was sooo sick!! I think it was food poisoning. I was throwing up so much and had really bad cramping ;( I still feel nauseous today but haven't thrown up since, ugh! Don't even remember when the last time I was sick like that. I think it may have been the food court food. Never again will I eat there! Blah!!!

Yummy seafood pasta!

This afternoon a friend and I with our little boys went out to lunch. We went to one of our favorite Italian restaurants.
We had delicious fried calamari and seafood pasta. Soo good! Not exactly sure how to log these calories in my fitnesspal, hmm! Let's make today a bonus day.

After lunch we went to the mall to shop a bit. A walk after our meal was definitely needed. I was soo surprised how long baby K slept for. I was worried he was going to wake up and cry during lunch hahaa!

He is changing sooo much! I love it! It was a perfect Wednesday. Now we have ribs in the slowcooker for dinner!

2 months old - first vaccines

 I was sooo nervous today for my little guy's first vaccines!

The doctor is very happy with Kristian's weight, he's now 10lbs 13oz! Kristian even gave him smiles as he talked to him. haha. Baby K is right on track with development, cooing and smiling and lifting/holding his head up nice and strong.  Love my little boy!

Then it was needle time eeeek! I was sooo nervous and really had nothing to worry about. Kristian cried when the nurse picked him up and seemed fine with the needles ha! He hates the cold more than anything.

I'm soooo glad I got through his first needle appointment! Next one at 4 months :( I think I'll still be as nervous!

 Everyday is something new with my little boy, I love how he listens to me and focuses on me when I'm talking to him.  He smiles and coos and lets out little laughs! Kristian also loves sucking on his hands these days, he tries to put his whole fist in his mouth and even gets upset that he can't!

Weekend recap:  Over the weekend I shopped a lot! My sisters bridal shower is in 3 weeks so I had to buy an outfit. I also bought baby some clothes too, we still need to find his full outfit for the day too!

Baby slept the whole time while I shopped, which was great! :)

Babys first Christmas this weekend

It's my little ones first Christmas! We have lots of gifts under our tree for him. I feel so blessed that he's my son, i love him so much!

Yesterday we went out to finish our Christmas shopping. I laugh now at how flexible I need to be. We went to a couple stores and in between we stopped so I could nurse baby twice and change baby. It actually worked out perfectly because I was able to stay out longer and finish our Christmas shopping ;)

There was some amazing half price sales going on too. I got him some cute outfits from Mexx for half price.
For myself I bought lots of leg warmers,a pair boots (clearance! $20!) and some sweaters at Marshalls.

Today we are staying in baking and wrapping gifts!

Saturday shopping with my sister

 

 Yesterday I spent the whole day shopping with my sister. My husband went camping for the long weekend with his friends. So what better way to spend my weekend... shopping!

We went to the Coach Outlet that's only 25 mins from my house! It's only been open for about a year and I'm soo glad it's much closer than the other one we use to drive an hour and half away to. I foresee many trips to this closer Coach store in my future haha!

I bought a new cross body purse and wallet. :) On Sale and an Extra 30% off too!

We also went bridesmaid dress shopping in the city. We found the perfect dress! Sooo Exciting!

Husband took the SUV camping, and in no way was I complaining about driving his cute bmw around, but with this belly it was tough getting in and out of those bucket seats! It's stick too, and I already need the seat to go up it's furthest for my short legs to reach the clutch, the belly made my seating a bit off. 

Growing up in the city and always street parking, I'm usually a pro and paralleling... yesterday.. not so much haha!

 

We also stopped over at the apple farm for apple pies and apple turnovers. Yum!

I had a piece for breakfast this morning. soooo gooood! :)

 

 I had a 50% coupon at Michaels so we spent a good hour in there yesterday buying cute items haha! Love Michaels!   I bought a scrapbook with lots of stickers! So I'll print all my pregnancy photos and place them in here :) Can't wait to get started!

Weekend of Baby and Wedding stuff and dreaming big!

Husband went away on the weekend, so while he was out golfing his day away I spent all day Saturday with my sister.

We started at out favorite Breakfast Place DT (in the Junction) called Purple Onion. I love being down in that area. After BF we walked around and went to some shops. One place had a cat in the shop and the little guy must have smelled Zoe because he was all around me haha!

I can't even remember the number of stores we went to, we didn't hold back and went in soo many stores. I bought a dress, makeup and some house stuff and some baby items.

Being silly, however look at those wrinkles ha! not so funny!

How cute are all these baby clothes! Baby K will love them. My sister bought baby K the gowns and the little shoes, too cute!


We also went to a whole bunch of wedding stores for sister. She found shoes she loves to go with her wedding dress, but they didn't have her size :(  We also found jewelery that will go well with her dress too. Yay!


We even made time to make cakepops! They didn't turn out as nice but they tasted great! Yum!


We ended our crazy day relaxing and watching How to lose a guy in 10 days, we love that movie!

Today I'm feeling a little tired and maybe in combination with preg hormones I'm feeling blah! I haven't been paying attention to my goals lately and I want to be sure I don't lose sight of them. So today I'll work on my vision board and be sure to still work towards the things I was working towards before. It's easy to get caught up in the day to day, and with new baby on the way and thinking like an "adult" really does put limits.  I don't like it, and I don't need to follow what I don't like (ha!) I can balance this so working on my vision board always puts things in perspective.

14 week update...

14 weeks 2 days

This week!
How Far Along: 14 weeks 3 days! Belly is much bigger than last week!
Size of baby: Naval Orange
Total Weight Gain/Loss: 7 lbs (gaining a pound a week so far!)
Maternity Clothes: Love Mat pants.They are heaven! Ha!
Gender: ??? Hope I can find out at the 16 week ultrasound, but may be too early. 
Movement: Flutters!
Sleep: better than last week, but still I toss and turn oh so much! and Zoe has been meowing at 6am these days. She will get hers when the baby is crying during the days when she is napping. haha!
Cravings: Last week I craved garlic rapini. 
 
Last week I also ate salad all week then by Friday I was so over them haha! Strawberries are my fruit of choice. But I still  have more food aversions than cravings. 
Symptoms: Headaches! Everyyydayyyy! Allll dayyyy! Gooo Away!!!
Strange changes: Belly button is stretching ha! and I'm already getting stretch marks on my breasts!
Some new items: My BIL and his GF bought me these books.  So far  I started reading the Infant Stimuli and I really love it!

 Yesterday  I also went shopping.  I bought some summer skirts and tops and these flip flops

A Sunny Friday

At least there is no snow in today's pic. Now all we need is the trees and flowers to bloom and grass to grow and it would be perfect! But the sun is out and we can already feel the energy it brings!

I have a couple days off work and husband can work from home a couple times a week which is great. Today he is working from home so we went for lunch and coffee together...
ok so I didn't choose a healthy choice but some days a donut can't be so wrong, ha!

I've been working on my spring fashion list and boy is it getting long, I may have too many shoes on my list but there are just so many nice shoes out there.

First on my list are coach sneakers. Love these!

Now I need to hit the malls!

My SIL just sent me this pic of my goddaughter... the cutest little face! Always smiling and laughing. Just made my day!

A Sunday In

Today I used my Sunday to catch up with household stuff and side biz stuff.

Today started great with my husband making us delicious lattes! We were tempted to go out for BF but decided that Sunday should be our day in. Today we made sure to cook all meals at home. For lunch I made oven baked potatoes and chicken and samosas on the side. I made brownies for dessert! And Applesauce too. YUM!
Yesterday I went with my sister to book her bridal shower for next year. Time really feels like it's flying and her wedding will be here in no time!! I can't wait!

After that we went for BF and with full bellies we then hit the mall. I bought new tights and a new colorful tank. I'm excited for this years fashion. I'm loving the long summer dresses and floral designs and the sandals. I have my eye on so many items and can't wait to get back to the mall, just need this weather to change!
It feels like we'll never get warmer weather here :( ... Last week we had a snow storm! and it's so cold too burr!... grr!
Go away cold weather!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I also got another new item this weekend.... A new hair straightener!! My MIL is a hair dresser and ordered me this.
It's amazing! I love it! It goes up to 450F! yikes!

My New Wok! and more.

Day 1 of the week for at home cooking!
I bought this new wok and made my favorite meal Coconut Red Thai Curry Shrimp!
I loaded the broccoli in there, along with red peppers and mushrooms. Dinner was delicious! and I didn't snack at all tonight :) I made good choices all day!

I really love the purchases I made over the weekend. My favorite pieces include this gray blazer. I have a black one already and I would love to find a red one! These blazers are great for both work and pleasure. At work with a pair of dress pants and pleasure with tights or jeans!

I bought this shirt too that can be worn underneath the blazer or I can even wear a long sleeve tight black shirt under it and that would look great too.
Aldo had these booties/shoes for 50% off. $40.00! Although when I brought them home I felt like it was soo wrong to add to my other 6 pairs of black boots!/booties. I think it's time for some color!! I like the heal on these, it's a little thicker. Where I walk to work my stilettos always get caught in the interlocking, and I've been ruining alll my heals! grr!
This week we are completing our reno's and hopefully will not be doing anything else until summer. Reno's are a lot of work! A lot of cleaning! I'll have pics of what we did and the end of the week!
