Sick days

My little one has had a fever the last couple days and has not been feeling himself. The fever has passed thank goodness and he's slowly feeling himself again. We stayed in the last couple days only playing in the backyard for a bit. We also made some Mother's Day art too!
Baby k loves paying with his new swing and slide set ;) and loves picking all the dandelions to bring to me to smell ha! Sweet boy. The weather is so nice and the flowers are blooming. I'm hoping my little one feels all better soon. It breaks my heart when he is feeling sick.

Fun weekend but ending not so fun

This weekend was beautiful weather. We had a lot of fun outdoors. We also had a delicious dinner at my sisters home Saturday night to announce that my brother and sil are going to be baby E's godparents! They were soo happy! We had a wine night where each couple brought a bottle of wine for us to try. Oh boy it was a lot of wine. We stayed over late and the kiddos all slept together on the sofa ha!

Yesterday we spent most the day outside. It was really warm. Baby k at the end of the day didn't seem too well. He was very hot and first thing I thought of was heat exhaustion. Then last night his fever spiked to 104. It's still hovering at 100.2. I'm bringing him in to the doctor later on today. So today we will spend it indoors getting better. Hate when my little one is feeling down ;(

Just the beginning of fun in the sun

The weather this week has been awesome! Since baby K hit 18 months he has been changing so much! It's amazing to watch him develop. He cracks me up too, always being silly with us. I play with flash cards to help him identify things. He knows what they all are now and will get the car card and bring it to his toy cars and the best one was when he chased Zoe saying ki-ca (kitty cat) showing her the card of the cat ha! Like this is you Zoe! Ha!

He also has been telling me when he goes to the bathroom! He says peepee but really doing the other, but he actually tells me which is amazing!

We have been having fun outdoors this week. I am really enjoying more than ever where we live. We have a park right across the street where baby k can run around getting all his energy out.

I also got some backyard toys this week too!

I'm excited for this nice weather and summer time! Bring on the sunshine!

Spring days with my little guy

The weather is finally looking better. Everyday we hit the park to have some fun. I'm seeing a lot of my little guys personality shine while he runs free haha!

He loves going up and down hills, even tiny ones in the pavement, he will go back and forth over them. He jumps over or asks to be picked up over big gaps in the ground (step on a crack and you'll break your mama's back) ha! He knows.

Today he was eager to walk through the mud and puddles, which was great for me when I had to clean his running shoes.

He will not hold my hand ever, if I try he will scream NOOOO ;( big boy doesn't need mama to hold his hand. {insert tears for me}

When baby K wants to learn something He will do it over and over until he gets it. It's amazing to watch him. The other day he was trying to learn to come down the stairs. He was brave too! Taking steps without holding on to anything, we were in front of him of course but he wants to learn so badly to walk down the steps! He will get it soon I'm sure!

Today we went to the zoo and he loved the animals and grunted at them as he walked by. Some park pics below ;)

Baby... I mean toddler

I can't tell you how happy I am to see the temperature for the week!

I'm excited to be outdoors! And with a toddler full of energy he is excited too!

Little K is changing sooo much! He is certainly not my baby anymore but a full out toddler. Showing his independence everyday. I'm not going to lie. It's breaking my heart. I'm excited and happy seeing him grow and learn new things every minute! But it also makes my heart ache a little. He's growing soo fast!

It's almost unbelievable that last year at this time he was still nursing all day and just starting solids, babbling away, still in my arms and still waking at night to nurse.

Now he's eating everything and always begging for more, babbling and talking, and running so fast not wanting to be held and sleeping all night. Last year I couldn't even imagine my little boy the way he is today. It's amazing, a really amazing feeling.

Where do the days go! I need to to slow down just a bit!

April snow

Today was a cold wet spring day... And no not wet as in rain, wet as in snow!

It was coming down pretty hard in the morning but it stopped by the afternoon whew!

I was going through my blog and saw a picture of last April when I was going to stroller fitness. That was so fun!! Look how small the babies were!

This week was a lot of emotional ups and downs just like the weather. Praying and staying positive and I know things will turn around!

Some new toys

I finally got a new phone, I've been wanting the iPhone 5 for a little while now. I'm excited to have better and clearer pics and more space on my phone! I pretty much blog with the blogger app 95% of the time so this is great for me. Now if I can just come out of my blogging block that I've had lately then I will be good to go ha!

This morning we did a little shopping. Every time I go out I come back with something for baby K, whether it be clothes or toys or treats, something!

Today I bought a little BBQ set, Lol Elmo and a bucket set for the sand. I'm getting ready for Spring haha.

I have my eye on many backyard toys for baby K, and I'm excited to set up a little playground. So I will be on the hunt for some deals!

A little Spring Cleaning

I've been a little MIA lately. Just a lot going on these days. I have a lot if things I wanted to blog about but just haven't had the motivation to do it!

Little K is teething and the past 2 days he has been irritable during the day. Today he seems a lot better, fingers crossed! I give Camilla teething drops when he is fussy. And Tylenol as well. Teething is no fun!

I've been starting to do a little spring cleaning too. My spring list of wants is pretty long! Eek! Sunglasses, shoes, spring clothes, purses, house items, backyard items and baby backyard toys too haha

I'm also starting a new workout schedule and hope to shed these unwanted pounds!

Sunny days and New stuff!

This week was just beautiful! We never had a March like this! I was sporting a tube top getting some sun.

Today baby and I spent most the day out shopping and out for a walk in the neighborhood.

Even though the weather has been awesome, yesterday I was feeling a little down. I think it's the sleepless nights cathching up to me. I just haven't been feeling myself. I usually sleep when the baby sleeps at night. But the past 2 weeks, I just can't get to sleep. It's so frustrating and it's making me feel crabby and foggy. My body is really feeling it too, my back, knees,ankles and wrists. Boo!

Today I decided to try and feel better with a little shopping. :) and with Mr snuggles being so cute everyday, it always makes me feel better.

 He was just playing and playing while I took my time browsing around.

Today we used the seat part of the stroller which is great because the canopy is much larger and blocks most the sun.... Well, the real reason we used it was because baby K had a blowout... poop all over his carseat, I had to clean it and let it dry, so we still went out for our walk with the other part of the stroller :). I'm having big issues with diapers these days. I went up a size to see if it would help... but nope still happens :/ 

This evening I went down to visit my mom and sister to discuss my sisters wedding next week... NEXT week!! We talked about or hair and makeup and decorating the house. We are all sooo excited.

Today baby K got a gift from his grandma. This gold bracelet with his initials KLM :)
 

Baby is sleeping, so I'm going to try and sleep too. Wish me luck!

Fun weekend, zoo, lake and eating out

This weekend was great! The weather has been amazing the past week, and will continue to be this week! It's awesome and everyone is enjoying it!

Friday I went to the zoo with my nieces. They had soo much fun. My older niece got to feed a lama and my baby niece was loving the animals. We had a great time and the weather was great!

Saturday my husband and I decided to spend the whole day out in the city. We started with our favorite breakfast place then headed to a park, (we went to the same park I was at Friday, and someone had burned it down early saturday morning. How sad!!!) we also went for a walk on lakeshore and ended our evening at a sushi restaurant we use to always go to in our old area.

Baby K loves being outdoors. He loves looking around and absorbing all the new things around. He hate just sitting in his carseat when we are at restaurants. He wants to be able to look around and be part of the conversations. Haha

He must have had a lot to think about because he has been sleeping much better too.

The weather this week will be awesome too! I'm looking forward to going for a walk everyday!
